Solitary fibrous tumors(SFT)is rare Mesenchymal tissue tumor, originally identified and usually found in the pleura, but the incidence of SFT in the spermatic cord is particularly rare. This article reported a case of a 37-year-old patient who was admitted for a right inguinal mass over the past 2 years. Preoperative MR examination showed a right spermatic cord-derived mass. Under spinal anesthesia, excision of the right spermatic cord mass was performed. Postoperative pathological diagnosis was spermatic cord solitary fibrous tumor. Twelve months of follow-up revealed no metastasis and recurrence on imaging examination. Solitary fibrous tumors of the spermatic cord are rare and require a combination of pathological examination and immunohistochemistry to confirm the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, tumor resection should be performed as soon as possible, and benign lesions are also at risk of recurrence, and long-term follow-up is required after surgery.

This article reports a case of a 55-year-old patient who was admitted to the hospital due to an 8-year history of a right epididymal mass and intermittent right scrotal heaviness for 1 month. Preoperative ultrasound examination revealed a right epididymal cyst and right testicular hydrocele. Under general anesthesia, a right epididymal mass resection and right testicular tunica vaginalis inversion procedure were performed. Postoperative pathological diagnosis was epididymal papillary cystadenoma. The patient has been followed up for 1 year with no recurrence and malignancy. Epididymal papillary cystadenoma, a rare benign tumor, lacks specific clinical and imaging features, often leading to misdiagnosis as seminal vesicle cysts or malignant tumors. If associated with von Hippel-Lindau syndrome, bilateral occurrence should be considered to prevent missed diagnosis and treatment delay.

As main recipient cells for porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), porcine alveolar macrophage (PAM) are involved in the progress of several highly pathogenic virus infections. However, due to the fact that the PAM cells can only be obtained from primary tissues, research on PAM-based virus-host interactions remains challenging. The improvement of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) technology provides a new strategy to develop IPSCs-derived PAM cells. Since the CD163 is a macrophage-specific marker and a validated receptor essential for PRRSV infection, generation of stable porcine induced pluripotent stem cells lines containing CD163 reporter system play important roles in the investigation of IPSCs-PAM transition and PAM-based virus-host interaction. Based on the CRISPR/Cas9- mediated gene editing system, we designed a sgRNA targeting CD163 locus and constructed the corresponding donor vectors. To test whether this reporter system has the expected function, the reporter system was introduced into primary PAM cells to detect the expression of RFP. To validate the low effect on stem cell pluripotency, we generated porcine iPSC lines containing CD163 reporter and assessed the pluripotency through multiple assays such as alkaline phosphatase staining, immunofluorescent staining, and EdU staining. The red-fluorescent protein (RFP) expression was detected in CD163-edited PAM cells, suggesting that our reporter system indeed has the ability to reflect the expression of gene CD163. Compared with wild-type (WT) iPSCs, the CD163 reporter-iPSCs display similar pluripotency-associated transcription factors expression. Besides, cells with the reporter system showed consistent cell morphology and proliferation ability as compared to WT iPSCs, indicating that the edited-cells have no effect on stem cell pluripotency. In conclusion, we generated porcine iPSCs that contain a CD163 reporter system. Our results demonstrated that this reporter system was functional and safe. This study provides a platform to investigate the iPS-PAM development and virus-host interaction in PAM cells.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2022;43(3):225-226
Desmoid-type fibromatosis is a rare benign tumor with invasive growth, which can occur in all parts of the body, mostly in the abdominal wall, and also in the abdomen and skeletal muscle. This paper reports a case of right ureteral stenosis caused by pelvic desmoid-type fibromatosis. Pelvic tumor resection, ileocecal resection and ureterovesical replantation were performed. The patients were followed up for 18 months without local recurrence and distant metastasis.

TORCH, which is considered as a series of pathogens, including the Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella virus, Cytomegalovirus or Herpes simplex virus, often infects the pregnant women to induce the the fetus or newborn infection by transplacental infection or exposure to contaminated genital tract secretions at delivery. Increasing evidence have been confirmed that the infection of TORCH may cause the miscarriage, premature birth, malformed fetus, stillbirth, intrauterine growth retardation, neonatal multiple organ dysfunction and other adverse pregnancy outcomes. For most TORCH-infections cases may lacking the effective treatments during pregnancy, and it is important to achieve the effacing monitoring of TORCH infections before and during pregnancy. The laboratory testing of TORCH has the great significance. However, the consensus opinions still need to improve the the standardization of TORCH testing process and the correct interpretation. Based on the characteristics of the TORCH detection method, this article gives a consensus opinion on the standardized detection and clinical application of TORCH from the laboratory perspective according to the characteristics and types of infection of different pathogens.

International Journal of Surgery 2019;46(10):691-694
Objective:
To evaluate the clinical characteristics and imaging features of splenic and bone marrow metastasis from breast cancer.
Methods:
Clinical data of one case of splenic and bone marrow metastasis from breast cancer collected from Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University on February 23, 2019 were analyzed and literatures were reviewed.
Results:
Patient admitted to hospital with pain in the left upper abdomen, accompanied with anemia and thrombocytopenia. CT suggested spleen occupying lesions. ECT implied bone metastasis. Bone marrow biopsy indicated breast cancer metastasis. Breast biopsy showed breast cancer. After using letrozole, the lesion of left breast and thevolume of spleen was reduced. The range of the spleen was lower than before. This review showed that the lesion of left breast and the low-density lesion in spleen was reduced.Bone marrow biopsy showed extremely low myeloproliferation.
Conclusions
Splenic and bone marrow metastasis from breast cancer are rare. Imaging examination and bone marrow biopsy are important diagnostic methods for spleen metastases. Detailed case data, targeted examinations, and comprehensive analysis are important for reducing misdiagnosis.

Objective To study the platelet inhibition rate of foreign clopidogrel, domestic clopidogrel, combined domestic clopidogrel and tongxinluo and their effct on major adverse cardiovacular events (MACE) after PCI.Methods Two hundred and twenty patients after PCI were divided into foreign clopidogrel treatment group (n=77),domestic clopidogrel treatment group (n=80),combined domesticclopidogrel and tongxinluo treatment group (n =63).The high platelet reactivity (HPR) in 3 groups was detected by thrombelastography after PCI.The incidence of MACE in 3 groups was compared. Results The incidence of left anterior descending branch lesion was lower, the number of sacculi was smaller, and the incidence of HPR was higher in foreign clopidogrel treatment group than in domestic clopidogrel treatment group and combined domestic clopidogrel and tongxinluo treatment group after PCI (63.6% vs 87.5% vs 77.8%,P=0.002;2.3±1.1 vs 2.8±1.4 vs 2.7±1.5,P=0.026;24.7% vs 21.3% vs 11.1%,P=0.030).The incidence of HPR was significantly higher in foreign clopidogrel treatment group than in combined domestic clopidogrel and tongxinluo treatment group (24.7 % vs 11.1%,P =0.040).No significant difference was found in the incidence of MACE in 3 groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion The incidences of MACE of domestic clopidogrel and foreign clopidogrel are similar.Combined clopidogrel and tongxinluo can improve the platelet inhibition rate after PCI.
