Objective:To analyze the influencing factors related to compulsive exercise in junior high school students. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study, in which 836 students enrolled in the 7 th and 8 th grades of the junior high school in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, were consecutively selected from June 1-28, 2023, and their general information was collected, and questionnaires were evaluated by using Compulsive Exercise Test, the Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20, the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule, and the Body Image Concern. A total of 836 questionnaires were distributed and 836 questionnaires were returned, of which 797 (95.33%) were valid. Spearman′s correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between alexithymia, positive affects, negative affects, body image concern and compulsive exercise; and hierarchical regression analysis was used to assess the effects of alexithymia, positive and negative affects, and body image concern on compulsive exercise in male and female junior high school students. Results:Of the 797 junior high school students included in the analysis, 377 were male, aged (14.41±0.59) years with a height of (1.73±0.07) m and a weight of (63.72±14.31) kg; and 420 were female, aged (14.35±0.55) years with a height of (1.64±0.05) m and a weight of (52.59±8.34) kg. In male and female junior high school students, alexithymia, positive affects, negative affects, and body image concern were positively correlated with compulsive exercise (male: r=0.289, 0.291, 0.286, 0.259, female: r=0.226, 0.297, 0.121, 0.244) (all P<0.05). After controlling for body mass index and age, alexithymia, positive affect, negative affect and body image concern positively predicted compulsive exercise in male students ( β=0.286, 0.294, 0.195, 0.192), and alexithymia, positive affect and body image concern positively predicted compulsive exercise in female students ( β=0.216, 0.349, 0.202) (all P<0.05). Conclusion:Alexithymia and body image concern can increase the risk of compulsive exercise in both male and female junior high school students, and negative affect can increase the risk of compulsive exercise in male students.

{L-End}Objective To explore the status of quality control assessment of pure tone audiometry (PTA) and to analyze its influencing factors in occupational medical examination (OME) institutions in Guangzhou City. {L-End}Methods A total of 41 OME institutions in Guangzhou City were selected as the research subjects from 2021 to 2022 using random sampling method, and its status of on-site quality and PTA quality for individuals exposed to noise were assessed. {L-End}Results A total of 205 rectification items were identified among the 41 OME institutions from 2021 to 2022. Among them, 19, 28, 30, and 28 OME institutions did not meet the requirements of organizational structure, quality management system, quality control of OME, and health examination information reporting, respectively. A total of 1 095 OME reports for individuals exposed to noise were assessed, with 820 reports having correct results and conclusions, resulting in an accuracy rate of 74.9%. The results of the multiple logistic regression analysis showed that OME institutions without meeting the requirements for the quality management system had a higher risk of failing the PTA quality control assessment and having inaccurate hearing test results compared with those meeting the requirements (all P<0.05). OME institutions with a filing period less than one year had a higher risk of having inaccurate hearing test results than those with a filing period of one year or more (P<0.05). OME institutions not meeting the requirements for quality control of OME had a higher risk of having abnormal OME conclusions than those meeting the requirements (P<0.05). OME institutions not meeting the requirements for health examination information reporting had a higher risk of having abnormal conclusions in suspected occupational disease than those meeting the requirements (P<0.05). OME institutions not meeting the requirements for the quality management system had a higher risk of having abnormal conclusions of occupational contraindications than those meeting the requirements (P<0.05). {L-End}Conclusion The quality of PTA in OME institutions in Guangzhou City needs to be improved. And a well-established quality management system for OME is beneficial for improving the quality of PTA.

To learn about the cardiovascular health effects of workers expose to benzene-toluene-xylene and noise in painting workshop of automobile manufacturing enterprises, and to provide intervention measures and strategies for the health of workers.
Methods:
The effects of noise exposure, benzene-toluene-xylene exposure and combined exposure on workers' blood pressure and electrocardiogram were analyzed through epidemiological investigation, workplace monitoring and occupational health examination in several automobile enterprises which had carried out occupational hazard factors monitoring and occupational health examination in our hospital from April to October 2017.
Results:
There were differences in age, sex, working years, smoking, drinking and physical exercise among workers in different exposure groups (
