BackgroundNon-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) behavior has become a global public health concern affecting the physical and mental health of adolescents. The experiential avoidance model posits that childhood trauma contributes to NSSI behavior through the mediating pathway of emotional dysregulation. However, existing research has predominantly focused on isolated psychological or social factors, with limited attention to their interactive effects of emotional dysregulation and social anxiety, both of which fall within the psychosocial domain. ObjectiveTo examine the relationship between childhood trauma and NSSI among adolescents, and to analyze the mediating role of emotional dysregulation and the moderating role of social anxiety, so as to provide evidence for targeted interventions for NSSI behavior of adolescents. MethodsA total of 282 adolescent inpatients who consecutively admitted to the Department of Psychiatry of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital from March to December 2025 and met the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition(DSM-5)criteria for NSSI were enrolled as study participants. Participants were assessed using the general information questionnaire, the Adolescent Self-Harm Questionnaire, the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), and the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (SAS-A). Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine correlations among scale scores. model 4 and model 58 of the Process 4.1 were used to test the mediating effect of emotional dysregulation and the moderating effect of social anxiety, respectively. ResultsCTQ score was positively associated with score of the Adolescent Self-Injury Questionnaire (r=0.279, P<0.01). Emotional dysregulation significantly partially mediated the relationship between childhood trauma and NSSI behavior, with a mediating effect of 0.112 (95% CI: 0.043–0.208), accounting for 40.14% of the total effect. Social anxiety moderated the association between childhood trauma and emotional dysregulation, the effect value was 0.102 (95% CI: 0.008–0.196), as well as the relationship between emotional dysregulation and NSSI behavior, the effect value was 0.130 (95% CI: 0.033–0.226). ConclusionEmotional dysregulation may mediate the relationship between childhood trauma and NSSI behavior among hospitalized adolescents, while social anxiety moderates both the first and second paths of this mediating process. Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) diseases are common clinical conditions. The number of patients with TMJ diseases is large, and the etiology, epidemiology, disease spectrum, and treatment of the disease remain controversial and unknown. To understand and master the current situation of the occurrence, development and prevention of TMJ diseases, as well as to identify the patterns in etiology, incidence, drug sensitivity, and prognosis is crucial for alleviating patients′suffering. This will facilitate in-depth medical research, effective disease prevention measures, and the formulation of corresponding health policies. Cohort construction and research has an irreplaceable role in precise disease prevention and significant improvement in diagnosis and treatment levels. Large-scale cohort studies are needed to explore the relationship between potential risk factors and outcomes of TMJ diseases, and to observe disease prognoses through long-term follw-ups. The consensus aims to establish a standard conceptual frame work for a cohort study on patients with TMJ disease while providing ideas for cohort data standards to this condition. TMJ disease cohort data consists of both common data standards applicable to all specific disease cohorts as well as disease-specific data standards. Common data were available for each specific disease cohort. By integrating different cohort research resources, standard problems or study variables can be unified. Long-term follow-up can be performed using consistent definitions and criteria across different projects for better core data collection. It is hoped that this consensus will be facilitate the development cohort studies of TMJ diseases.

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of microscopic myringoplasty versus endoscopic myringoplasty in the treatment of tympanic membrane perforation caused by chronic suppurative otitis media. Methods:The clinical data of 91 patients with tympanic membrane perforation caused by chronic suppurative otitis media who received treatment in Jiaxing Second Hospital, China between February 2017 and March 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. These patients were divided into a control group ( n = 45) and an observation group ( n = 46) according to different surgery methods. The control group was given microscopic tympanoplasty, while the observation group was given endoscopic tympanoplasty under the otoendoscope. Results:Blood loss in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group [(7.2 ± 2.0) mL vs. (13.7 ± 3.1) mL, t = 11.912, P < 0.001]. Operation time in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group [(59.4 ± 5.4) min vs. (91.5 ± 11.2) min, t = 17.474, P < 0.001]. Postoperative pain score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group [(2.9 ± 0.7) points vs. (4.8 ± 1.3) points, t = 8.707, P < 0.001]. Hospital stay in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group [(4.3 ± 1.0) d vs. (6.5 ± 1.5) d, t = 8.249, P < 0.001]. Pure tone hearing thresholds at 1, 2 and 4 kHz frequencies in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P < 0.05). Patient satisfaction regarding the aesthetic effect of the surgical incision in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group [97.8% (45/46) vs. 77.8% (35/45), χ2 = 8.604, P = 0.003]. Conclusion:Endoscopic myringoplasty has the advantages including shorter operation time, less blood loss, lower degree of pain, better hearing improvement and higher patient satisfaction over microscopic myringoplasty in the treatment of tympanic membrane perforation caused by chronic suppurative otitis media.

Objective To compare the ultra-microscopic changes of periodontal Ruffini's corpuscle induced by different patterns of tooth movement, and investigate the influence of different changes of the periodontal mechanical environment on the periodontal mechanoreceptor. Methods Thirty-two eight-weeks-old SD rats were divided into control group(n=4),none-extraction group(n=12) and extraction group(n=12),and none-extraction group and extraction group were further divided into three subgroups, namely 3 day and 14 day and 28 day.For control group,no intervention was performed. For none-extraction group and extraction group, the following interventions were conducted. In none-extraction group, the maxillary left and mandibular right third molars were moved distally. In extraction group, the maxillary left third molar was moved distally, and the bilateral mandibular third molars were extracted. The ultra-structures of periodontal Ruffini's corpuscle in the periodontal ligament of the distal root of the bilateral maxillary third molars were observed under the transmission electron microscope. Results The ultra-structrural changes in the none-extraction group were mainly characterized by degeneration or abnormal distribution of mitochondria in the axon terminal, which were almost recovered at 28 d.In the extraction group, the changes were mainly characterized by deficiency or abnormal elongation of the Schwann sheath and were not recovered at 28 d.Conclusions The ultra-structures of periodontal Ruffini's corpuscle might be influenced by tooth movement and occlusal changes, and the mechanorecepting function of it might be affected by changes of the periodontal mechanical environment.
