Background:
and Purpose Symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) following endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) is a severe complication associated with adverse functional outcomes and increased mortality rates. Currently, a reliable predictive model for sICH risk after EVT is lacking.
Methods:
This study used data from patients aged ≥20 years who underwent EVT for anterior circulation stroke from the nationwide Taiwan Registry of Endovascular Thrombectomy for Acute Ischemic Stroke (TREAT-AIS). A predictive model including factors associated with an increased risk of sICH after EVT was developed to differentiate between patients with and without sICH. This model was compared existing predictive models using nationwide registry data to evaluate its relative performance.
Results:
Of the 2,507 identified patients, 158 developed sICH after EVT. Factors such as diastolic blood pressure, Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score, platelet count, glucose level, collateral score, and successful reperfusion were associated with the risk of sICH after EVT. The TREAT-AIS score demonstrated acceptable predictive accuracy (area under the curve [AUC]=0.694), with higher scores being associated with an increased risk of sICH (odds ratio=2.01 per score increase, 95% confidence interval=1.64–2.45, P<0.001). The discriminatory capacity of the score was similar in patients with symptom onset beyond 6 hours (AUC=0.705). Compared to existing models, the TREAT-AIS score consistently exhibited superior predictive accuracy, although this difference was marginal.
Conclusions
The TREAT-AIS score outperformed existing models, and demonstrated an acceptable discriminatory capacity for distinguishing patients according to sICH risk levels. However, the differences between models were only marginal. Further research incorporating periprocedural and postprocedural factors is required to improve the predictive accuracy.

AIM:To analyze the clinical phenotypes and genotypes of children with incontinentia pigmenti(IP)and enhance clinicians' understanding of the condition.METHODS: A family with IP diagnosed in February 2020 at the ophthalmology department of People's Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region was enrolled. The proband and family members underwent comprehensive systemic and ocular examinations. Peripheral venous blood was collected for DNA extraction, followed by whole-exome sequencing and MLPA assay to identify pathogenic variants. Corresponding treatments were administered based on the severity of fundus lesions, and ocular clinical features and therapeutic outcomes were monitored during follow-up.RESULTS: The child in this study was a female, aged 8 years, with typical skin changes and scarring alopecia and dental abnormalities at the time of initial consultation. The results of genetic testing suggested that the child carried a heterozygous deletion of exons 4-10 of the IKBKG gene chrX:153440010-153446570del. The child had asymmetric lesions in both eyes, with severe lesions in the left eye, atrophy of the eyeballs, and ocular B-ultrasound suggesting structural disturbances in the eye, and neovascularization was seen in the peripheral retina of the right eye, and the patient was given laser photocoagulation treatment for the right eye, and no progression of retinopathy was detected during follow-up.CONCLUSION:Children with IP have different ocular clinical phenotypes, and retinal vasculopathy is the main change. Early screening and timely and standardized treatment are crucial for children diagnosed with IP.

Inflammatory diseases (IDs) are a general term of diseases characterized by chronic inflammation as the primary pathogenetic mechanism, which seriously affect the quality of patient′s life and cause significant social and medical burden. Current drugs for IDs include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids, immunomodulators, biologics, and antioxidants, but these drugs may cause gastrointestinal side effects, induce or worsen infections, and cause non-response or intolerance. Given the outstanding performance of metal polyphenol network (MPN) in the fields of drug delivery, biomedical imaging, and catalytic therapy, its application in the diagnosis and treatment of IDs has attracted much attention and significant progress has been made. In this paper, we first provide an overview of the types of IDs and their generating mechanisms, then sort out and summarize the different forms of MPN in recent years, and finally discuss in detail the characteristics of MPN and their latest research progress in the diagnosis and treatment of IDs. This research may provide useful references for scientific research and clinical practice in the related fields.

Due to patient compliance and convenience, oral medication is likely the most common and acceptable method of drug administration. However, traditional dosage forms such as tablets or capsules may lead to low drug bioavailability and poor therapeutic efficiency. Therefore, with advancements in material science and micro/nano manufacturing technology, various carriers have been developed to enhance drug absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. In this context, we initially discuss the key biological factors that hinder drug transport and absorption (including anatomical, physical, and biological factors). Building on this foundation, recent progress in both conventional and innovative oral drug delivery routes aimed at improving drug bioavailability and targeting is reviewed. Finally, we explore future prospects for oral drug delivery systems as well as potential challenges in clinical translation.

Functional dyspepsia (FD), characterized by persistent or recurrent dyspeptic symptoms without identifiable organic, systemic or metabolic causes, is an increasingly recognized global health issue. The objective of this guideline is to equip clinicians and nursing professionals with evidence-based strategies for the management and treatment of adult patients with FD using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The Guideline Development Group consulted existing TCM consensus documents on FD and convened a panel of 35 clinicians to generate initial clinical queries. To address these queries, a systematic literature search was conducted across PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP Database, China Biology Medicine (SinoMed) Database, Wanfang Database, Traditional Medicine Research Data Expanded (TMRDE), and the Traditional Chinese Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System (TCMLARS). The evidence from the literature was critically appraised using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. The strength of the recommendations was ascertained through a consensus-building process involving TCM and allopathic medicine experts, methodologists, pharmacologists, nursing specialists, and health economists, leveraging their collective expertise and empirical knowledge. The guideline comprises a total of 43 evidence-informed recommendations that span a range of clinical aspects, including the pathogenesis according to TCM, diagnostic approaches, therapeutic interventions, efficacy assessments, and prognostic considerations. OBJECTIVE:
The relationship between fish consumption and stroke is inconsistent, and it is uncertain whether this association varies across predicted stroke risks.
METHODS:
A cohort study comprising 95,800 participants from the Prediction for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk in China project was conducted. A standardized questionnaire was used to collect data on fish consumption. Participants were stratified into low- and moderate-to-high-risk categories based on their 10-year stroke risk prediction scores. Hazard ratios ( HRs) and 95% confidence intervals ( CIs) were estimated using Cox proportional hazard models and additive interaction by relative excess risk due to interaction (RERI), attributable proportion (AP), and synergy index (SI).
RESULTS:
During 703,869 person-years of follow-up, 2,773 incident stroke events were identified. Higher fish consumption was associated with a lower risk of stroke, particularly among moderate-to-high-risk individuals ( HR = 0.53, 95% CI: 0.47-0.60) than among low-risk individuals ( HR = 0.64, 95% CI: 0.49-0.85). A significant additive interaction between fish consumption and predicted stroke risk was observed (RERI = 4.08, 95% CI: 2.80-5.36; SI = 1.64, 95% CI: 1.42-1.89; AP = 0.36, 95% CI: 0.28-0.43).
CONCLUSION
Higher fish consumption was associated with a lower risk of stroke, and this beneficial association was more pronounced in individuals with moderate-to-high stroke risk.

Objective: To construct a 5G unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) airport platform for blood transportation and explore its feasibility and advantages within the blood emergency support system. Methods: Based on 5G high-speed network transmission technology, a UAV management system was designed to achieve a closed-loop management of the entire transportation process, including blood distribution, route information, flight status, emergency dispatch, hospital reception, real-time temperature monitoring, and video surveillance. Integrated with an open UAV airport, the first "5G UAV Blood Transportation Intelligent Airport Platform" was established. Results: At present, the platform has settled in 2 sets of UAV systems, established 17 routes, and carried out regular UAV blood transportation services for 15 hospitals. From January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, a total of 12 134 sorties were completed, with a total transported blood weight of 7 692.38 kg, including 25 500 units of red blood cells, 3 824.5 units of platelets, 1 350 370 mL of plasma, and 10 810 units of cryoprecipitate. Compared to land transportation, UAV delivery saved an average of 46.8 minutes during rush hours (maximum: 89.3 minutes) and an average of 32.3 minutes during non-rush hours (maximum: 59.1 minutes). In terms of the quality of UAV blood transportation, the temperature of suspended red blood cells was between 4 and 8℃, that of platelets was between 20 and 24℃, and that of plasma was below 0℃. No damage has occurred so far. Conclusion: The UAV blood transportation platform can stably provide blood delivery services during both routine and emergency conditions, ensuring timely blood delivery and stable blood quality.

Widespread utilization of glyphosate has led to environmental residues, posing potential threats to ecological systems and human health.Traditional methods for detection of glyphosate are limited by specialized equipment and operational techniques, resulting in inefficient responses. Therefore,it is urgent to develop a convenient, sensitive and accurate detection method for detection of glyphosate.Herein,a new naphthalenesulfonamide-based"Turn-on"fluorescent probe was synthesized using 2-chloroaniline and dansyl chloride as raw materials through a one-step process, which showed a good linear relationship between the glyphosate concentration in concentration range of 0.003-70 μmol/L and the fluorescence intensity(R2=0.995),with a detection limit of 2.73 nmol/L(S/N=3).Analytical techniques such as nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopy and high-resolution mass spectrometry(HRMS)were used to investigate the interaction mechanism between the fluorescent probe and glyphosate. The results indicated that a nucleophilic substitution reaction occurred between the probe and the secondary amine(—NH—)of glyphosate, inducing a photoinduced electron transfer(PET)effect which enhanced the fluorescence intensity by 11.2 times. The probe showed good anti-interference ability towards coexisting metal ions, anions and pesticides in water. When applied to determination of glyphosate in the samples such as tap water, river water(Xiangxi River Reservoir),soil, soybeans, and corn, the spiking recoveries ranged from 94.7%to 109.9%,demonstrating the high accuracy and broad applicability of this detection method.A portable test strip based on this fluorescent probe was developed for rapid semi-quantitative analysis of glyphosate. The developed method was rapid, sensitive, and portable, providing theoretical and technical support for on-site measurement of environmental contaminants.
