Objective:To explore the differences in the standardized z-score amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations (zALFFs) across different brain regions between children with global developmental delay (GDD) and healthy children (HC) using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), and correlating zALFF values with the subjects′ Gesell Developmental Scale (GDS) scores.Methods:Thirty-one children aged 2-4 years with GDD and 29 HC of the same age were studied. fNIRS was used to record both groups′ brain activity in response to natural stimuli and to measure any changes in oxygenated hemoglobin (HbO) levels in cerebral blood flow. zALFF values were calculated and the values of 44 channels were compared between the two groups. The correlations between zALFF values and GDS scores were computed.Results:The zALFF values of the children with GDD were significantly lower than those of the HC in the right frontal pole (channel 10) and the right pre-motor and supplementary motor areas (channel 43). In contrast, the zALFF values in the left pre-motor and supplementary motor areas (channels 24 and 26) were significantly higher in the children with GDD compared to the HC. Spearman ranked correlation analysis revealed that the zALFF values in the right pre-motor and supplementary motor areas (channel 43) were positively correlated with socialization scores on the GDS ( r=0.37, P≤0.05). Conclusions:The delays in cognitive and motor development in children with GDD may be associated with functional abnormalities in the right frontal polar region and the bilateral premotor and supplementary motor areas. zALFF values from the right premotor and supplementary motor areas are positively correlated with social skills.

Objective To detect the relative expression level of long non-coding RNA nuclear enriched a-bundant transcript(NEAT)1 in peripheral serum of patients with gastric cancer,and to explore the possibili-ty of its application in the auxiliary diagnosis of gastric cancer.Methods A total of 101 patients with newly diagnosed gastric cancer in Nantong Tumor Hospital from November 2017 to December 2019 were selected as the gastric cancer group,60 patients with benign gastric lesions were selected as the gastric benign lesions group,and 76 healthy people were selected as the control group.The relative expression levels of lncRNA NEAT1,carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)and carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9)in serum samples of each group were detected,and the correlation between lncRNA NEAT1 and clinicopathological parameters was ana-lyzed.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of lncRNA NEAT1,CEA and CA19-9 alone or in combination.Results The relative expression levels of lncRNA NEAT1 in serum of gastric cancer group,gastric benign disease group and control group were 2.163(1.357,2.843),1.176(0.677,1.381)and 1.063(0.570,1.308),respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(H=52.467,P＜0.001).The relative expression level of serum lncRNA NEAT1 in gastric cancer patients was not related to gender(P=0.353)and age(P=0.382),but was related to tumor size(P=0.031),TNM stage(P=0.037)and lymph node metastasis(P=0.046).The relative expression level of lncRNA NEAT1 in serum of gastric cancer patients was not correlated with CEA and CA19-9(P＞0.05).The ROC curve showed that the area under the curve and sensitivity of lncRNA NEAT1 in the diagnosis of gastric cancer were higher than those of CEA and CA19-9.The combined diagnosis of the three had the highest diagnostic efficiency.Conclusion The relative expression of lncRNA NEAT1 in peripheral blood of patients with gastric cancer is increased,and it is correlated with some clinicopathological parameters.lncRNA NEAT1 may be a new marker for auxiliary diagnosis of gastric cancer.

Objective:To compare the effectiveness of two types of robotic training in improving the lower extremity motor functioning of children with spastic cerebral palsy (SCP).Methods:Twenty-eight children with SCP were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, each of 14. Both groups received conventional exercise therapy, paraffin therapy, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and massage. Both also performed 30 minutes of gait training five days a week for eight weeks assisted by either a Lokomat or a Relink lower limb rehabilitation robot. Before and after the treatment, both groups were evaluated using the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM), the Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS), the Modified Tardieu Scale (MTS), the six-minute walk test (6MWT), the Physiological Cost Index (PCI) and their self-selected walking speed (SWS).Results:Significant improvement in all of the measurements were observed in both groups. After the treatment, there were no significant differences between the two group in the average GMFM (section D and E) or PBS scores. The average MTS R1 and R2, SWS, 6MWT and PCI results of the experimental group were, however, significantly better than those of the control group.Conclusion:Applying either the Lokomat or Relink robot in lower extremity rehabilitation improves the lower extremity motor function of children with grade II-III SCP. The Relink robot is the more effective in improving triceps surae spasm and walking ability.

A retrospective study was conducted on data of 23 patients with pancreatic duct diseases who were underwent peroral pancreatoscopy (POPS) at the Pancreatic Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from August 2020 to October 2022. The intraoperative observation, postoperative complications, and the diagnosis and treatment of POPS for pancreatic duct diseases were analyzed. All patients underwent POPS and achieved technical success. Among them, 7 patients were diagnosed as having intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of pancreas and 3 pancreatic malignant tumor. Eight patients with pancreatolithiasis accepted laser or eletrohydraulic lithotripsy under POPS. Abdominal pain improved in 2 patients with chronic pancreatitis after treatment. Melena disappeared in 2 patients with pancreatic duct hemorrhage or pancreatic enterostomy inflammation after conservative treatment. The symptom of 1 patient with pancreatic enterostomy stenosis improved after balloon dilation. There was no complication in the 23 patients, and the operation time was 35-90 min. The results indicate POPS is safe, effective with distinctive advantages in the diagnosis and treatment for pancreatic duct diseases.

OBJECTIVE：To study the composition and contents of flavonoids chemical components in waste material during industrialization of Pueraria thomsonii resources，and to provide reference for comprehensive development and reasonable utilization of the variety. METHODS ：Using“No. 2 Gange”of P. thomsonii from Jiangxi as objects ，UPLC-Q-TOF-MS and HPLC method were adopted to detect the components and contents of flavonoids in the root （with or without cortex ），cortex，flower， fibrous root ，stem，head and dregs （with or without cortex ）of P. thomsonii as well as dry matter of industrial wastewater （with or without cortex ）after precipitation of pueraria powder. RESULTS ：The linearity ，precision，repeatability，stability and recovery of the established method for content determination of 7 flavonoids（puerarin，daidzin，iridoxine-7-O-xylose glucoside ，genistin， iridin，daidzein and kakkalide ）were all in line with the requirements. Totally 12 kinds of flavonoids were identified ，among which the flavonoids in the root ，cortex，stem，fibrous root ，head and dregs of P. thomsonii as well as dry matter of industrial wastewater were the same ，mainly were puerarin ，daidzin，genistein，daidzein and malonyl-daidzein. The flower of P. thomsonii mainly included iridoxine- 7-O-xylose glucoside ，genistin，iridin，kakkalide，6″-O-xylosyldaidzein，but the components as puerarin ， daidzin and its aglycone were not be detected. The content of puerarin in the head of P. thomsonii was the highest （5.765％）. The contents of puerarin in root and dregs of P. thomsonii as well as dry matter of industrial waste-water in samples with cortex were all higher than in corresponding peeled sample. CONCLUSIONS ：The waste material from the industrialization of P. thomsonii resources contains a lot of flavonoids with rich species and high content ，and can be used as an important raw material for obtaining flavonoids such as puerarin.

Objective: To investigate the expression of circular RNA hsa_circ_0128298 in hepatocellular harcinoma (HCC) and evaluate its function in the growth process of HCC. Methods: qPCR was used to detect the expressions of hsa_circ_0128298 in 50 HCC tissues, corresponding paracancerous tissues and HCC cells. The effects of hsa_circ_0128298 on HCC growth was analyzed by CCK-8 kit, flow cytometry and western blot assays. The values of hsa_circ_0128298 for the diagnosis and prognosis of HCC were assessed by ROC curve and survival curve analyses. Results: Compared with the paracancerous tissues, the expression of hsa_circ_0128298 was significantly increased in HCC tissues ( U =846.0， P =0.005). The area under ROC curve (AUCROC) was 0.661, 95% confidence interval ( CI ) was 0.560 to 0.753, sensitivity was 80.0% and specificity was 50.0%. HCC patients with high expression of hsa_circ_0128298 displayed less overall survival time than those with low expression of hsa_circ_0128298 ( χ 2=6.294, P =0.012). RNA interference of hsa_circ_0128298 (si-hsa_circ_0128298) significantly inhibited HCC cell proliferation and induced cell cycle arrest at G0/G1, and also induced mRNA upregulation and protein expression of cyclin p21. Meanwhile，si-p21 partially reversed the proliferation inhibition and cell cycle arrest of HCC cells induced by si-hsa_circ_0128298, and restore its growth and proliferation potential. Conclusion The highly expressed hsa_circ_0128298 in HCC could promote the growth of HCC by regulating the expression of p21 and promise to be a new target for diagnosis and treatment of HCC.

Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a global health problem that causes major illnesses and disabilities worldwide. Epidemiologic studies have demonstrated that the prevalence of AR has increased progressively over the last few decades in more developed countries and currently affects up to 40% of the population worldwide. Likewise, a rising trend of AR has also been observed over the last 2–3 decades in developing countries including China, with the prevalence of AR varying widely in these countries. A survey of self-reported AR over a 6-year period in the general Chinese adult population reported that the standardized prevalence of adult AR increased from 11.1% in 2005 to 17.6% in 2011. An increasing number of original articles and imporclinical trials on the epidemiology, pathophysiologic mechanisms, diagnosis, management and comorbidities of AR in Chinese subjects have been published in international peer-reviewed journals over the past 2 decades, and substantially added to our understanding of this disease as a global problem. Although guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of AR in Chinese subjects have also been published, they have not been translated into English and therefore not generally accessible for reference to non-Chinese speaking international medical communities. Moreover, methods for the diagnosis and treatment of AR in China have not been standardized entirely and some patients are still treated according to regional preferences. Thus, the present guidelines have been developed by the Chinese Society of Allergy to be accessible to both national and international medical communities involved in the management of AR patients. These guidelines have been prepared in line with existing international guidelines to provide evidence-based recommendations for the diagnosis and management of AR in China.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of circulating miR-125b-5p in coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.Methods With case-control study,80 cases of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease were recruited in Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University from February 2014 to august 2015.According to coronary angiography result they were divided into two groups: there are coronary artery stenosis group(n=49)and control group(n=31).All patients were also divided into non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction group(n=35),unstable angina group group(n=25),stable angina group(n=20).The level of miR-125b-5p before coronary angiograph was detected.By independent sample t test and variance analysis,the levels of miR-125b-5p were compared between the groups of coronary artery stenosis and the group with no stenosis of the coronary artery,the coronary artery lesions in each group,and between the various types of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease respectively.Results MiR-125b-5p expression level of Coronary artery stenosis group(0.35±0.10)was lower than that in group coronary artery with no stenosis(0.95±0.12),the difference was statistically significant(t=24.179,P<0.000 1).With the increase in the number of diseased coronary arteries,miR-125b-5p expression level decreased gradually.There is also statistical significance(t=8.399,P<0.000 1; t=13.067,P<0.000 1)in miR-125b-5p expression among NSTEMI+STEMI,UA and SAP groups.miR-125b-5p expression level was negatively correlated with Gensini score(R2=0.822,P<0.05).The area under the ROC curve(AUC)of miR-125b-5p was 0.86(95％CI 0.67-0.90),and 0.66 was the optimal cut-off value with sensitivity of 81.22％and specificity of 78.62％.Conclusions With the increase of the number of stenosis,plasma miR-125b-5p expression level decreased gradually.The expression level of miR-125b-5p was negatively correlated with the Gensini score of coronary artery,which indicated that the expression level of miR-125b-5p may be a potential biomarker that can reflect the lesion degree of coronary artery.

OBJECTIVE: The study aimed to investigate the efficacy and adverse effects of sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) of dust mite drops to allergic rhinitis with mite allergy. The compliance and satisfaction of SLIT were also assessed. METHOD: One hundred and three patients of allergic rhinitis sensitive to dust mites were treated with SLIT for 6 months or more. The symptom questionnaire,including items on rhinorrhea, sneezing, nasal obstruction, itchy nose, olfactory disturbance, eye discomfort and sleep disturbance were obtained before and 6 months after SLIT. The patients' satisfaction and adverse effects were also investigated. RESULT: Seventy-five of the 103 patients insist on SLIT for more than 6 months and completed the questionnaire. The duration of receiving SLIT was 9.8 months on average (range from 6 to 13 months). The satisfaction rate was 89.3%. The drop-out rate of SLIT was 31.0%. CONCLUSION The subjective symptoms were improved with SLIT in patients with allergic rhinitis sensitive to dust mites. The drop out rate was high despite of the symptomatic improvement.
