Journal of Kunming Medical University 2025;46(5):38-47
Objective Based on the VOSviewer software,to systematically analyze and compare the trends and hotspots in existing Chinese and English research on kinesiophobia, aiming to provide references for research in the field of clinical intervention and rehabilitation. Methods Chinese literature data sources were selected from CNKI,Wanfang, and VIP databases, while English literature data sources were selected from PubMed and Web of Science databases.Relevant literature on kinesiophobia was selected, and the VOSviewer1.6.18 software was used to analyze the basic information materials of the literature and to draw maps. Results 760 Chinese literature articles and 4491 English literature articles were included. The peak of publication volume was concentrated between 2020 and 2024.Domestically,the overall publication volume, individual author publication volume, and team collaboration among authors were relatively lower compared to international standards. The common high-frequency keywords in both domestic and international research were"kinesiophobia, pain, rehabilitation exercise, disability, anxiety,"and the frequency of these keywords showed correlation and non-randomness.Conclusion Research on kinesiophobia is on an upward trend.Due to different development focuses, there are similarities and differences in research directions between domestic and international studies.Domestic research can achieve in-depth exploration of kinesiophobia through theoretical integration, technological transformation, population expansion, and methodological innovation.

Objective:To explore the relationship between thyroid parenchymal echogenicity abnormalities and thyroid function evolution in health examination population. Methods:It was a cohort study. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, participants were selected from individuals who underwent thyroid color ultrasound and thyroid function tests at the Health Management Center of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital from January to December 2017. Data including age, gender, smoking history, alcohol consumption history, personal medical history, and thyroid function re-examination information were collected. Follow-up was conducted until the occurrence of thyroid function abnormalities or until the end of the follow-up period. The cumulative incidence rate and incidence density of thyroid function abnormalities were evaluated. Cox regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between thyroid parenchymal echogenicity abnormalities and thyroid function evolution. Results:A total of 6 754 participants were included in this study, with an average age of (45.80±12.12) years, and females accounted for 42.7%. The mean follow-up time was 1.82 years, with a cumulative follow-up duration of 12 263 person-years. During the follow-up period, 154 new cases of thyroid function abnormalities occurred, with a cumulative incidence rate of 2.28% (95% CI: 1.94%-2.66%) and an incidence density of 12.56/1 000 person-years (95% CI: 10.66/1 000-14.69/1 000 person-years). The multivariate adjusted Cox regression analysis showed that individuals with thyroid parenchymal echogenicity abnormalities had a significantly increased risk of developing isolated thyroid stimulating hormone abnormalities and thyroid function abnormalities, with HR(95% CI) of 3.09 (2.02-4.73) and 2.92(1.96-4.33), respectively, both P<0.001. Stratified analysis showed that, except for body mass index <18.5 kg/m 2, current smoking, and current alcohol consumption, all other stratified factors showed a significant increase in the risk of thyroid function abnormalities in individuals with thyroid parenchymal echogenicity abnormalities. Conclusion:Thyroid parenchymal echogenicity abnormalities are important risk factors for the evolution of thyroid function abnormalities. Continuous monitoring of thyroid function should be given due attention.

Objective To investigate the current staffing of nurses and need of hospital nursing human resources in China. Methods Data were collected from 181 secondary and tertiary hospitals and 9774 nurses in mainland China by questionnaires. Results The average doctor-nurse ratio was 1 ∶ 1.39 in tertiary hospitals and 1 ∶ 1.31 in secondary hospitals. The doctor-nurse ratios in 164 hospitals (97.6%) and the proportion of nurses in health care staff in 105 hospitals (61.8%) had not reached the standard set by the Ministry of Health of China.62.3% nurses held secondary diploma for their initial nursing education. The constituent ratio of nurses held secondary diploma decreased, while the ratio of nurses held advanced diploma and bachelor degree increased in the last 5 years from 2003 to 2007.Sixty percent of newly employed nurses were contract nurses in 2003.The proportion increased to 78% in 2007,and in some regions it accounted for more than 90% of new nurses. The needs and constituent ratio of nurses with.secondary diploma and advanced diploma would decrease while nurses with bachelor degree and master degree would increase in the next 5 years (from 2009 to 2013).Conclusions The nursing shortage is still severe in China, and nursing staff mainly held secondary diploma for their initial nursing education. Most of new nurses were employed as conwact nurses. The need of hospitals for nurses has increased, especially for nurses with higher educational level such as bachelor degree and master degree, while the need for secondary diploma hold ers have decreased. The need for advanced diploma holders has increased in the last 5 years and would decrease in the next 5 years, but they would still be the majority of employed nurses. The authors suggested that the staffing of nursing manpower, the work environments and career development of contract nurses should be improved, and the initial nursing education should be upgraded to meet the needs of hospitals.
