AIM To investigate the effects of aloperine on the pulmonary expressions of TREM-1 and TREM-2 in septic rats.METHODS The rats were randomly divided into the control group, the model group and the low, medium and high dose aloperine groups ( 25,50 and 100 mg/kg ).The corresponding intraperitoneal aloperine injection was administered 0.5 h before modeling, and the rats'Penh,Cdyn and EF50 were detected 24 hrs after modeling. The rats had their pathological injury of the lung tissue observed by HE staining;their pulmonary mRNA expressions of TREM-1,TREM-2,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-10 detected by RT-qPCR method;and their pulmonary protein expressions of TREM-1,TREM-2,TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-10,p-p65,p-PI3K and p-Akt detected by Western blot.RESULTS Compared with the control group, the model group displayed increased Penh (P<0.01),decreased Cdyn and EF50 ( P<0.01);destroyed lung tissue structure and thickened alveolar septum, increased mRNA and protein expressions of TREM-1,TNF-αand IL-1β( P<0.05,P<0.01);decreased mRNA and protein expressions of TREM-2 and IL-10 ( P<0.05,P<0.01);and increased protein expressions of p-p65,p-PI3K and p-Akt (P<0.01).Compared with the model group, the aloperine groups shared decreased Penh ( P<0.01);increased Cdyn and EF50 ( P<0.01);improved pulmonary structure and thinner alveolar wall, decreased mRNA and protein expressions of TREM-1,TNF-α and IL-1β( P<0.05,P<0.01 );increased mRNA and protein expressions of TREM-2 and IL-10 ( P<0.05,P<0.01);and decreased protein expressions of p-p65,p-PI3K and p-Akt (P<0.05,P<0.01).CONCLUSION Aloperine can alleviate the inflammatory response of septic rats by down-regulating TREM-1 expression and up-regulating TREM-2 expression, which may be related to the inhibited activation of PI3K signaling pathway.

TORCH, which is considered as a series of pathogens, including the Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella virus, Cytomegalovirus or Herpes simplex virus, often infects the pregnant women to induce the the fetus or newborn infection by transplacental infection or exposure to contaminated genital tract secretions at delivery. Increasing evidence have been confirmed that the infection of TORCH may cause the miscarriage, premature birth, malformed fetus, stillbirth, intrauterine growth retardation, neonatal multiple organ dysfunction and other adverse pregnancy outcomes. For most TORCH-infections cases may lacking the effective treatments during pregnancy, and it is important to achieve the effacing monitoring of TORCH infections before and during pregnancy. The laboratory testing of TORCH has the great significance. However, the consensus opinions still need to improve the the standardization of TORCH testing process and the correct interpretation. Based on the characteristics of the TORCH detection method, this article gives a consensus opinion on the standardized detection and clinical application of TORCH from the laboratory perspective according to the characteristics and types of infection of different pathogens.

By taking "lumbar disc herniation", Chinese medicine", "acupuncture and moxibustion" as key words Chinese articles about acupuncture for lumbar disc herniation in recent 10 years were searched in three major Chinese databases of Wan fang database, VIP database and CNKI. Totally 546 relative articles were retrieved. After the elimination of invalid articles, 173 were included as valid articles with 49 main acupoints. The hierarchical clustering statistical method was used to analyze the possible rules among the former 20 acupoints. It turned out that there were 10 most common used acupoints on Bladder Meridian [Geshu (BL 17), Xiaochangshu (BL 27), Shenshu (BL 23), Dachangshu (BL 25), Pangguangshu (BL 28), Guanyuanshu (BL 26), Weizbong (BL 40), Zhibian (BL 54), Chengshan (BL 57), Kunlun (BL 60)], 2 on Gallbladder Meridian [Huantiao (GB 30), Yanglingquan (GB 34)], 2 on Governor Vessel [Yaoyangguan (GV 3), Shuigou (GV 26)], 2 on Stomach Meridian [Zusanli (ST 36), Juliao (ST 3)], 2 on Spleen Meridian [Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Xuehai (SP 10)], and the rest were extra points (Huatuo Jiaji) and Ashi points, so a conclusion could be drawn that the most common used acupoints were Bladder Meridian acupoints and supplemented by Gallbladder Meridian, Governor Vessel, Stomach Meridian, Spleen Meridian, extra points and Ashi points. The selected acupoints were most located on the lumbosacral region, leg and fewer located on the face, back and local part.
