Objective To investigate the perioperative management of antithrombotic drugs in patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery. Methods Patients on long-term antithrombotic drugs who underwent non-cardiac surgery in our hospital were included.Through interviews with patients and physicians, perioperative antithrombotic medication regimens were reviewed and compared with the"Multidisciplinary Expert Consensus on Perioperative Management of Antithrombotic Therapy"to evaluate compliance with consensus and analyze influencing factors. Results A total of 372 patients were included in the analysis.Among them,355 patients were on long-term antiplatelet therapy alone, and 17 were on long-term oral anticoagulantion.364(97.8%)discontinued antithrombotic medications prior to surgery.109 patients(29.3%)received low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)bridging therapy.Among the 355 patients on antiplatelet therapy,108(30.4%)had discontinuation durations consistent with the consensus recommendations, while 186(52.4%)discontinued medications for longer periods.Postoperatively, the average hospital stay for antiplatelet therapy patients was 6.64 days, with only 37(10.4%)resuming therapy during hospitalization. The average hospital stay for patients on anticoagulants was 9.94 days, with only 2(11.8%)resuming therapy during hospitalization.Regarding perioperative risk assessment, only 40(10.8%)of patients underwent additional internal medical evaluation for thromboembolic risk after medication discontinuation, with the remainder assessed soly by surgeons.Coronary heart disease was an independent risk factor associated with internal medical evaluation(OR 2.851,95%CI 1.160-7.011,P=0.022).For bleeding risk assessment, surgeons evaluations aligned with the consensus in 68.0%of cases, but surgeons tended to underestimate risk compared to the consensus. Conclusions In this single-center study, perioperative antithrombotic management showed low compliance with expert consensus, characterized by prolonged preoperative medication discontinuation, high rates of LMWH bridging, and low postoperative in-hospital resumption of therapy.A robust multidisciplinary collaboration system should be established to enhance comprehensive patient assessment.

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP), whose etiology is influenced by genetic and clinical risk factors, considerably impacts women's quality of life. However, the genetic underpinnings in non-European populations and comprehensive risk models integrating genetic and clinical factors remain underexplored. This study constructed the first polygenic risk score (PRS) for POP in the Chinese population by utilizing 20 disease-associated variants from the largest existing genome-wide association study. We analyzed a discovery cohort of 576 cases and 623 controls and a validation cohort of 264 cases and 200 controls. Results showed that the case group exhibited a significantly higher PRS than the control group. Moreover, the odds ratio of the top 10% risk group was 2.6 times higher than that of the bottom 10%. A high PRS was significantly correlated with POP occurrence in women older than 50 years old and in those with one or no childbirths. As far as we know, the integrated prediction model, which combined PRS and clinical risk factors, demonstrated better predictive accuracy than other existing PRS models. This combined risk assessment model serves as a robust tool for POP risk prediction and stratification, thereby offering insights into individualized preventive measures and treatment strategies in future clinical practice.

Objective To assess the health risks of gaseous pollutants in the indoor air of hair and beauty salons in Jinan, and to provide technical support for strengthening the hygiene management of hair and beauty salons in Jinan and promoting the improvement of conditions. Methods Every year, indoor air samples were collected from 10-16 selected hair salons and beauty salons in Jinan, and relevant information on practitioners was also collected. According to the “Technical Guidelines for Environmental Health Risk Assessment of Chemicals”, an assessment was conducted on the carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks of inhalation pathways of gaseous pollutants in the indoor air of hair salons and beauty salons. Results Benzene, toluene, xylene, formaldehyde, and ammonia were detected in the indoor air of hair salons and beauty salons. Formaldehyde, benzene, and ammonia all exceeded the standard in hair salons and beauty salons. The median risk values of formaldehyde and benzene for carcinogenesis in hair salons and beauty salons were both greater than 10-6, with maximum values higher than 10-4. The median chronic non-carcinogenic risk value of formaldehyde in the indoor air of hair salons and beauty salons was greater than 1. The median chronic non-carcinogenic risk values for benzene and ammonia were both less than 1, but the maximum risk value was greater than 1. Conclusion Benzene and formaldehyde in the indoor air of hair salons and beauty salons in Jinan City have carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks, while ammonia has non-carcinogenic risks, which should be paid attention to.

Osteosarcoma(OS)is a common primary malignant bone tumor with high mortality, disability, metastasis, and recurrence rates and a complex pathogenesis,Resulting in serious effects on patient quality of life and huge economic burdens on families and society.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has"multi-target,multi-component and multi-pathway"characteristics.Recent studies using animal and cell models demonstrated that the mechanism of OS progression was related to Notch,mitogen-activated protein kinase,Wnt/β-catenin,phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/AKT,Hedgehog and nuclear factor-κB,transforming growth factor-β/Smad and signal transducer and activator of transcription pathways.TCM can exert anti-tumor effects by influencing biological processes such as cell proliferation, migration, invasion, apoptosis, and autophagy via interfering with the above signaling pathways. This review considers the roles of these signaling pathways in OS and summarizes the current research status of TCM interventions in the prevention and treatment of OS,with the aim of providing a reference for future studies of TCM treatments of OS and to provide new ideas for its clinical treatment.
