Objective To observe the changes of myelin sheath in corpus callosum on non-ischemic side after ischemic stroke in rats with cerebral ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)model,and to investigate the effect of vagus nerve stimulation(VNS)on secondary demyelination in I/R model. Methods Forty-two rats were randomly assigned to sham,I/R,or I/R+VNS groups, with 14 rats in each group.Except for the sham group, the rats in other groups were used to construct I/R model by a middle cerebral artery occlusion thread method. In addition, the rats in the I/R+VNS group were given repetitive electrical stimulation of the left vagus nerve for 60 min at 30 min after ischemia occlusion. The cerebral infarction volume was observed by 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining. The expression levels of myelin basic protein(MBP)and myelin-associated glycoprotein(MAG)in the corpus callosum on the non-ischemic side were detected by Western blotting. The integrity and thickness of myelin sheaths in the corpus callosum on the non-ischemic side were observed by Luxol fast blue staining and transmission electron microscopy, respectively. Results Compared with the sham group, the volume of cerebral infarction in the I/R group was increased(P<0.01).On the 3rd day after I/R,compared with the sham group, the expression levels of MBP and MAG were significantly decreased(both P<0.01),the intensity of Luxol fast blue staining was significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the thickness of the myelin sheath was significantly thinner(g-ratio was increased,P<0.01)in the corpus callosum on the non-ischemic side.Compared with the I/R group, the expression levels of MBP and MAG in the I/R+VNS group were significantly increased(both P<0.05),the intensity of Luxol fast blue staining was significantly increased(P<0.01),and the thickness of myelin sheath was significantly increased(g-ratio was decreased,P<0.01)in the corpus callosum on the non-ischemic side. Conclusion Secondary demyelination occurs on the non-ischemic side of the rat corpus callosum after ischemic stroke, and VNS can ameliorate the demyelination.

Objective:To explore the application effect of case-based learning (CBL) combined with problem-based learning (PBL) interactive teaching mode on the teaching of rehabilitation nursing. Methods:The research objects were 89 nursing interns of Batch 2019 and Batch 2020 from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, and they were divided into experimental group ( n=44) and control group ( n=45). The experimental group adopted CBL+PBL interactive teaching mode, and the control group adopted traditional teaching mode. Teaching period lasted 5 months. SPSS 17.0 statistical software was used for t test. Results:Compared with the control group, the academic and specialized operation performances of experimental group were significantly improved [(84.55±6.35) vs. (89.51±4.87) and (94.74±1.58) vs. (95.93±1.19), P<0.05]. In the comprehensive quality evaluation, the interns' work performance was also significantly improved in experimental group [(9.69±0.51) vs. (9.23±0.99), P<0.05]. Conclusion:CBL+PBL teaching method has better teaching effect than traditional teaching mode in the teaching of rehabilitation nursing interns.

Objective:To explore the effect of double supervisor teaching in practical teaching of rehabilitation technology specialty. Methods:Totally 45 students from rehabilitation technology specialty in our university were randomized into experimental group and control group. Experimental group (22 students) took double supervisor teaching method, which was jointly conducted by a doctor and a physiotherapist, while control group (23 students) adopted single physiotherapist teaching method. The practical effects were evaluated by theory test, clinical operation test, and questionnaire survey. The data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0.Results:The scores of tests in experimental group were significantly better than those in control group ( P<0.05). In addition, according to the questionnaire survey, the scores of indicators related to the teaching effectiveness in experimental group were significantly better than those in control group ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of double supervisor teaching in practical teaching of rehabilitation technology specialty can improve students' academic performance, improve students' learning ability and problem-solving ability, which is worthy of further exploration and promotion in rehabilitation medicine education.
