OBJECTIVE To explore the clinical characteristics of patients with hematologic tumors combined with Fusarium infection and analyze the prevention and control measures.METHODS Six patients with hematologic neo-plasms combined with Fusarium infection diagnosed at the First Medical Center of the People's Liberation Army General Hospital from Apr.2019 to Dec.2023 were selected as research objects.Through retrospective analysis of patients' clinical data, the clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and prevention strategies of Fusarium in-fection in hematologic neoplasms were analyzed.RESULTS All six patients with hematologic neoplasms combined with Fusarium infection were neutropenic or deficient patients, with main symptoms including moderate fever, painful skin nodules, rash, skin broken and crusted, and scrotal swelling and pain.Patients with severe neutrophil deficiency were susceptible to blood-borne Fusobacterium infections.Four patients had a markedly elevated G-test and Fusorium was first detected by microbiome metagenomic next-generation sequencing(mNGS)in blood,earli-er than traditional pathogenic culture methods.Five patients had Fusarium detected in urine or stool cultures. All six patients received empirical antibacterial and antifungal treatments, but the fungal infection treatment effects were poor.Treatment was adjusted according to the pathogenetic findings, mainly using a combination regimen based on liposomal amphotericin B or posaconazole tablets, with three patients cured and three death. Two pa-tients were from the same ward with a sixteen-day interval.Although no evidence of infection transmission was found, there was still a risk of cross-infection in patients with hematological malignancies and severe immunodefi-ciency.Measures for the prevention and control of hospital-acquired infections were implemented for patients with Fusarium infection and the ward.CONCLUSIONS The clinical manifestations of patients with hematological tumors combined with Fusarium infection are complex and varied with high mortality rates.MNGS testing is valuable in the early diagnosis of Fusarium infection, and it is necessary to explore new treatment options and hospital-ac-quired infectious disease prevention and control measures to improve the prognosis.

Objective To investigate the expression and roles of serine/threonine and tyrosine kinases(TTK)and mouse dual microbody 2(MDM2)in cervical lesion tissue. Methods Patients(n=180)who underwent gynecological surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from June 2022 to January 2024 were evaluated, including 50 patients in the cervical cancer group,50 patients in the high-grade lesion group,40 patients in the low-grade lesion group, and 40 patients in the non-cervical lesion(control)group. The mRNA expression and protein levels of TTK and MDM2 in each group were detected and compared by real-time quantitative PCR and immunohistochemistry, respectively. The diagnostic value of the mRNA expression levels of TTK and MDM2 in cer-vical cancer was analyzed using receiver operating characteristic curves. Results The mRNA levels of TTK and MDM2 significantly dif-fered among the four groups(P<0.05);with increases in the lesion grade, the mRNA levels of TTK and MDM2 increased gradually and showed significant differences(P<0.05).Immunohistochemical results showed that TTK was mainly located in the cytoplasm, whereas MDM2 was mainly located in the nucleus, with positive expression rates in cervical cancer tissues of 84.00%and 90.00%,respectively.These values were higher than those in other pathological tissues(P<0.05).The mRNA levels of TTK and MDM2 were significantly cor-related with the degree of differentiation and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).The receiver operating characteristic curve showed that the areas under the curve of TTK and MDM2 mRNA for diagnosing cervical cancer were 0.803 and 0.798,respectively.Additionally,the area under the curve of the combined diagnosis was 0.912,which was higher than that observed for single detection(Z=2.230,2.553,P<0.05).Conclusion The mRNA expression of TTK and MDM2 and their corresponding protein levels were increased in cervical lesions, demonstrating their potential as biological indicators for the clinical diagnosis of cervical cancer.

Objective To explore the core acupoints and compatibility rules of acupuncture and moxibustion for epilepsy by using complex network method. Methods A prescription database was established through inclusion and exclusion criteria for searching literatures for databases from China National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP, Wanfang, Web of Science, EMBASE, and Pubmed. SPSS Modeler software was used to analyze the frequency and correlation of acupoints, and Gephi0.10.1 software was used to establish a complex network model to explore the core acupoints and acupoint selection rules of prescriptions for epilepsy. Results Ultimately, 144 valid literatures were included, 199 prescriptions were extracted, involving 102 acupoints. Baihui acupoint had the highest frequency of use, specific acupoints were mainly Five-shu acupoint, the Eight Meridian Intersection acupoint, and the Back-shu acupoint. In selection of meridians, most acupoints were selected from governor meridian. Association rule analysis showed that Baihui-Taichong had the highest level of support and confidence. The analysis of complex network topology showed that 36 acupoints such as Baihui, Dazhui, Yaoqi and Fenglong were the core acupoints in the treatment of epilepsy by acupuncture and moxibustion. The analysis of acupoint communities revealed three major acupoint groups including governor meridian passing through treatment group, far and near matching acupoint group of the four limbs and head, and differentiation group of Zang-fu and body fluid for epilepsy treatment. Conclusion Acupoint compatibility of epilepsy by acupuncture and moxibustion should be mainly based on principle of the governor meridian combined with the differentiation of viscera and body fluid, and attention should be paid to distal-proximal point association.
