Objective: To explore the related factors of college students social network addiction based on problem behavior theory, so as to provide a basis for improving social networking addiction in this population. Methods: From May to June 2023, a method combining convenient sampling and cluster random sampling was used to select 1 768 college students from five universities in Shanghai for a questionnaire survey on social networking addiction, self esteem, loneliness, depressive symptoms, social support, interpersonal needs, sense of distress and frustration; at the same time, the physical exercise, smoking and drinking of college students were investigated. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was applied to explore the association between the three systems of the problem behavior theory (personality, behavior, and social environment) and social networking addiction among college students. Results: The score on the Social Network Addiction Tendency Scale was (21.08±6.29) among college students, and the detection rate of social networking addiction was 66.29%. After adjusting for gender, family economic status, parental divorce status, and whether being an only child, multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that in the personality system, higher loneliness ( OR =1.66) and higher depressive symptoms ( OR =2.18) were associated with increased risk of social networking addiction among college students; in the behavior system, alcohol consumption ( OR =1.42) was associated with higher risk of soical networking addiction compared to non drinkers; and in the social environment system, low social support ( OR =1.43) was associated with increased risk of social networking addiction (all P <0.05). Conclusions The rate of social networking addiction among college students is relatively high, and the systems of personality, behavior, and social environment are all related to social network addiction. Providing social support, cultivating healthy lifestyle habits, and increasing interpersonal interactions may help reduce excessive dependence on social networking among college students.

Objective:To analyze the situation of outpatient patients diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) due to typical hand symptoms and evaluate the diagnostic factors of CTS patients.Methods:Through an electronic medical record information system, a retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of outpatient patients diagnosed with CTS with "numbness and pain in the hands" as the complaints from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022 in eight medical institutions including Peking University Third Hospital, Third People's Hospital of Guizhou Province, Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital Bijie Hospital, then the demographic characteristics and diagnostic factors such as symptoms, signs, and auxiliary examinations were analyzed. Chi-square test was used to compare the differences in CTS diagnosis rates between different genders and age groups.Results:There were a total of 43105 outpatients with complaints of "numbness and pain in the hands" over the past 5 years, of whom 754 were diagnosed with CTS, with a diagnostic rate of 1.7%. The there were 166 males and 588 females diagnosed with CTS, and the diagnostic rate of female patients was significantly higher than that of male patients ( χ2=158.13, P<0.001). Among the CTS patients, the proportion of patients aged 45 to 60 was the highest (43.8%, 330/754), and there was a statistically significant difference in CTS diagnosis rates among patients of different age groups ( χ2=36.99, P<0.001). All CTS patients had varying degrees of hand symptoms, and some had definite abnormalities in auxiliary examinations such as physical examination, wrist ultrasound, MRI or neuroelectrophysiology. Conclusion:The diagnosis rate of CTS among outpatients presenting with complaints of "numbness and pain in the hands" is relatively low, and there are gender and age distribution differences. In addition to typical clinical symptoms, the diagnosis of CTS also requires objective evidence from physical examination and further auxiliary examinations.

Objective:To explore the value of three-dimensional automatic right ventricular quantitive analysis（3D Auto RVQ）technology in predicting the improvement of left ventricular ejection fraction（LVEF）in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction（HFrEF）.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 89 HFrEF patients admitted to the Cardiology Department of Central China Fuwai Hospital of Zhengzhou University from April 2022 to June 2024. All patients received medication treatment and were further divided into heart failure with improved ejection fraction（HFimpEF）group and non HFimpEF group based on changes detected by echocardiography in LVEF after treatment. The clinical data，biological indicators，and medication treatment status of patients were collected，routine echocardiographic parameters and right ventricular strain parameters were measured，3D right ventricular ejection fraction（3D-RVEF），3D right ventricular stroke volume index（3D-RVSVI），3D right ventricular end-diastolic volume index（3D-RVEDVI），3D right ventricular end-systolic volume index（3D-RVESVI），3D tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion（3D-TAPSE），and 3D right ventricular fractional area change（3D-RVFAC）were measured using 3D Auto RVQ technology. The differences of the above parameters between the two groups were compared. The ROC curve was used to analyze the predictive efficiency of right ventricular parameters for HFimpEF，and the area under ROC curve（AUC）was calculated and compared. Logistic regression models were used to analyze the predictive value of right ventricular parameters for HFimpEF.Results:Compared with the non HFimpEF group，the HFimpEF group had a younger age，shorter heart failure course，a smaller proportion of males，New York Heart Association（NYHA）functional class ≥Ⅲ，and patients with concomitant coronary heart disease. The baseline LVEF，absolute value of two dimensional right ventricular global longitudinal strain（2D-RVGLS），3D-RVEF，3D-TAPSE，and 3D-RVSVI were higher in the HFimpEF group（all P<0.05）. ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of 3D-RVEF for predicting HFimpEF was 0.858，and the predictive efficiency was higher than other right ventricular parameters. According to the Yoden index，the optimal cutoff value for predicting HFimpEF based on 3D-RVEF was 36.2%，with a corresponding sensitivity of 84.0% and specificity of 75.0%. After adjusting for clinical and other echocardiographic parameters，the logistic regression model showed that 3D-RVEF was an independent predictor of HFimpEF（ OR=1.435，95% CI=1.145-1.800， P<0.05）. Conclusions:The 3D-RVEF evaluated by 3D Auto RVQ technology has high predictive value for HFimpEF，which can provide a reference for clinical treatment，thereby improving the prognosis of HFrEF patients.

Ergonomic Principle for the Prevention of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders Part 1: General Principles (T/WSJD 14.1-2020) is the first guideline standard for the prevention of work-related musculoskeletal disorders provided to employers and occupational health technical service institutions in China, which covers ergonomic risk factors and their hazard definition, ergonomic prevention principles, risk assessment process, risk control process and risk evaluation principles. The standard specifically clarify the specific types of adverse ergonomic risk factors and control strategies and the standard process of systematic ergonomic risk assessment, providing implementation paths and practical guidance for eliminating/reducing adverse ergonomic risks and enhance workplace environments to prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders. This paper interprets and analyzes the background of standard establishment, formulation process, fundamental basis, and main content, etc., to provide scientific and accurate technical support for enterprise managers, labours and technical personnel of occupational health institutions to optimize the use of this standard.

Objective:To investigate the incidence of shoulder work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) among occupational population in China, and to explore their intrinsic association with personal and work-related factors.Methods:In April 2024, 73497 valid questionnaires of the Chinese version of the Musculoskeletal Disorders Electronic Questionnaire were retrospectively analyzed from June 2018 to December 2023 in 22 provinces and 29 key industries in China, and the general information, occurrence of WMSDs and related risk factors of key occupational populations in different regions in China were collected. By using Chi-square test and confirmatory factor analysis, the relationship between shoulder fatigue and pain in key occupational groups and individual factors, work type, work posture and work organization was discussed, and the internal relationship was analyzed based on structural equation model.Results:Higher incidence of shoulder fatigue and pain were associated with female, lack of physical exercise, uncomfortable working posture and neck leaning forward ( P<0.05). Structural equation model analysis showed that work type, work posture and work organization were strongly correlated ( r=0.58, 0.55). Work organization and work type were strongly correlated with shoulder fatigue ( r=0.65) and moderately correlated with shoulder fatigue ( r=0.21). Shoulder fatigue was moderately associated with shoulder pain ( r=0.40). Individual factors, work type, work posture and shoulder fatigue could directly affect shoulder pain ( OR=0.07, -0.09, 0.17 and 0.40), and work type and work posture could also indirectly affect shoulder pain through shoulder fatigue ( OR=0.08, 0.03). Work organization only indirectly affected shoulder pain through shoulder fatigue ( OR=0.26) . Conclusion:The main influencing factor of shoulder pain is shoulder fatigue, followed by work posture and individual factors. Structural equation model can better reflect the complex relationship between work type, work posture and work organization and shoulder WMSDs. Improving work posture and work organization may be an effective way to control the influence of shoulder fatigue on shoulder pain.

Objective:To explore the structural equation model to explore the levels of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) and various risk factors in the feet and ankle of China's occupational population, providing scientific basis for for preventing WMSDs in feet and ankles.Methods:Data of 73497 national occupational epidemiological cases were selected from June 2018 to December 2023 used the Chinese version of the Electronic Questionnaire on Musculoskeletal Disorders. The adverse ergonomic factors and their source classification standard and confirmatory factor analysis were used to investigate foot and ankle WMSDs and their related risk factors (including individual factors, work organization, work posture, work type, fatigue, etc.) in key occupational groups in China, and structural equation model hypothesis, fitting, verification, and path and intermediary effect analysis were carried out. The model fit evaluation indexes included Chi-square specific degrees of freedom ( χ2/ df), gauge fit index (NFI), Tucker Lewis index (TLI), goodness of Fit index (GFI), adjusted Goodness of Fit index (AGFI) and approximate root mean square error (RMSEA) . Results:A total of 73497 occupational workers were surveyed, with local muscle fatigue and WMSDs incidence rates in the feet and ankles being 17.17% and 12.06%, respectively. The fitting index of the adjusted structural equation model basically meets the standard (GFI=1, AGFI=1, RMESA=0.042, NFI=0.716, TLI=0.663). The top three factors affecting feet and ankle WMSDs are feet and ankle muscle fatigue, work type, and work organization, with standardized path coefficients of 0.221, 0.105, and 0.095, respectively. The top two factors affecting feet and ankle muscle fatigue are work organization and work type, with standardized path coefficients of 0.548 and 0.383, respectively. Feet and ankle muscle fatigue, work type, work organization, and work posture have a direct effect on feet and ankle WMSDs, with effect values of 0.221, 0.105, 0.095, and 0.077, respectively. The organization and type of work can also have indirect effects through feet and ankle muscle fatigue, with effect values of 0.121 and 0.084, respectively.Conclusion:Feet and ankle muscle fatigue has a direct impact on WMSDs, and plays a mediating role between ankle and ankle WMSDs caused by work organization and work type. Feet and ankle muscle fatigue is an important pathway leading to feet and ankle WMSDs. It is recommended that employers and managers detect job fatigue early and take corresponding prevention and intervention measures, which can play a key role in preventing feet and ankle WMSDs.

Objective:To explore the structural relationship between WMSDs in the upper limbs and various risk factors in the occupational population in China, based on a large sample epidemiological survey and structural equation analysis, and to establish a structural equation model, so as to lay a foundation for the prevention and control of such diseases.Methods:The Chinese version of the Musculoskeletal Disorders Electronic Questionnaire was used to conduct a nationwide survey on the prevalence of WMSDs in the upper extremity. Six factors related to WMSDs in the upper extremity were extracted by the classification standard of adverse ergonomic factors and their source and confirmatory factor analysis, including work organization, work type, upper extremity work posture, individual factors, upper extremity fatigue and upper extremity WMSDs. The structural equation analysis was carried out and the structural equation model was established.Results:The incidence of WMSDs and fatigue in the upper limbs was 24.44% and 43.76%, respectively. The adjusted structural equation model fitting indicators were generally up to the standard (GFI=1.000, AGFI=1.000, RMSEA=0.043, NFI=0.808, TLI=0.784) . The four exogenous latent variables of work organization, work type, upper limb work posture and individual factors were correlated. There was a strong positive correlation between job type and upper limb work posture ( r=0.865) , a moderate positive correlation between work organization and job type and upper limb work posture ( r=0.570, 0.490) , and a weak negative correlation between individual factors and the other three exogenous latent variables. Upper limb work posture and individual factors had direct effects on upper limb WMSDs, and the effect coefficients were 0.10 and 0.06, respectively. Upper limb fatigue played a mediating role between work organization, work type, upper limb work posture and upper limb WMSDs. The effect coefficient was 0.46, and the composition ratios of indirect effects were 100.0%, 100.0%, and 38.3%, respectively. The direct path effect of upper limb work posture, individual factors and upper limb WMSDs was weaker than the mediating path through upper limb fatigue. Conclusion:When carrying out the prevention and control of upper limbWMSDs, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the pathogenesis path of upper limb muscle fatigue and upper limb WMSDs caused by work organization, work type, and upper limb work posture, so as to provide theoretical reference for improving the prevention and control level of such diseases.

Heart failure(HF)is the final stage of various cardiovascular diseases.The period of high incidence of death and readmission in patients with HF within 2 to 3 months after discharge is defined as the"vulnerable period".The management of vulnerable period focuses on how to identify high-risk groups with the need of close follow-up and more active intervention.Despite the application of various effective medical treatment and nursing strategies,readmissions in HF patients remain high,which not only poses a significant financial burden on the healthcare system but also carries the prognostic impact of worsening survival associated with repeated hospitalizations.Remote monitoring is a promising approach for early detection of worsening HF and intervention before apparent decompensation.Remote monitoring includes patient reporting of remote vital signs monitoring,wearable devices,information from cardiac implantable electronic devices and invasive remote hemodynamic monitoring.Remote cardiac monitoring devices have developed rapidly.A wide variety of monitoring devices have been developed,and trials have been conducted to explore the availability and safety of remote monitoring devices and their effectiveness in reducing the risk of HF re-hospitalization.Wearable devices are easy to be accepted by patients because of their non-invasive,portable,cost and other factors.

BACKGROUND:Polyether ether ketone has the advantages of elastic modulus close to human cortical bone,good ray transmission,chemical stability,and biocompatibility.Polyether ether ketone is expected to be applied in the field of oral implants.However,polyether ether ketone is bioinert and is difficult to integrate with surrounding bone tissue.Therefore,how to improve the surface bioactivity of polyether ether ketone remains a major issue.OBJECTIVE:To analyze the osteogenic and vasogenic effects of polyether ether ketone surface bone forming peptide 1 and polydopamine composite coating.METHODS:Polyether ether ketone titanium sheets were immersed in dopamine solution for 24 hours to prepare polyether ether ketone-polydopamine materials.Polyether ether ketone-polydopamine material was immersed in the bone forming peptide 1 solution for 24 hours to prepare polyether ether ketone-polydopamine-bone forming peptide 1 material.The micromorphology,hydrophilicity,and elemental composition of the material were characterized.Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were injected on the surface of polyether ether ketone,polyether ether ketone-polydopamine,and polyether ether ketone-polydopamine-bone forming peptide-1 materials.Cell viability and adhesion status were evaluated by live/dead cell staining and cytoskeleton staining.Cellular osteogenic differentiation ability was detected by alizarin red and osteocalcin immunofluorescence staining.Human umbilical vein endothelial cells were inoculated on the surface of three groups of materials.Cell viability and angiogenesis level were assessed by live/dead cell staining and immunofluorescence staining of cytoskeleton/vascular endothelial growth factor.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Under scanning electron microscope,the surface of polyether ether ketone material was smooth;the surface of polyether ether ketone-polydopamine material had uneven deposits,and the surface of polyether ether ketone-polydopamine-bone forming peptide 1 material had small particles protruding.The results of contact angle test showed that the hydrophilicity of polyether ether ketone-polydopamine-bone forming peptide-1 material was better than the other two materials.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results showed that bone forming peptide 1 had been successfully modified on the surface of polyether ether ketone material.(2)Live/dead cell staining and cytoskeleton staining exhibited that compared with the other two materials,polyether ether ketone-polydopamine-bone-forming peptide 1 material could improve the viability and adhesion of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.Alizarin red and osteocalcin immunofluorescence staining showed that compared with the other two materials,polyether ether ketone-polydopamine-bone forming peptide-1 materials could promote the osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.(3)Live/dead cell staining and immunofluorescence staining showed that compared with the other two materials,polyether ether ketone-polydopamine-bone forming peptide 1 material could improve the viability and adhesion of human umbilical vein endothelial cells and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor protein.(4)The results show that the modification of bone forming peptide 1 and polydopamine composite coating on polyether ether ketone surface can improve the osteogenesis and angiogenesis.

Objective:The objective of this longitudinal study is to longitudinally monitor the lexical development and language proficiency of Mandarin-speaking children with cochlear implants (CI) over a three-year post-implantation period while also investigating whether early receptive and expressive vocabulary skills can serve as predictors for later language abilities in CI recipients.Methods:In this study, 42 children with CIs were selected as participants, including 19 males and 23 females, and with a mean age at CI activation of 16.6±4.9 months. Receptive and expressive vocabulary skills were assessed using the Infant Checklist of the Early Vocabulary Inventory for Mandarin Chinese (EVI) at one-year post-activation (T1). Additionally, expressive vocabulary sizes were evaluated using the EVI-Toddler Checklist, while syntactic ability was measured by the Grammatical Complexity test of the Mandarin-Chinese Communicative Developmental Inventory for Infants and Toddlers at two years post-activation (T2). The comprehensive language development level of preschool children, including language comprehension, expression, and grammar ability, was examined during the third year post-activation (T3) using the Revised Scale for Assessment of Language Disorders in Preschool Children. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0.Results:One year after CI activation, children exhibited a mean receptive vocabulary size of 155.7±52.8 and an expressive vocabulary size of 85.1±63.9. T2′s expressive vocabulary size was 455.7±167.7, while the Grammatical Complexity score was 36.5±13.0. The original language development score was determined to be 53.6±14.2 at T3. Correlation analysis revealed significant positive associations between T1′s receptive and expressive vocabulary with tests conducted at T2 and subsequent language development measured at T3 ( P<0.01). Furthermore, there was a significant correlation between expressive vocabulary at T1 and both tests conducted at T2 ( P<0.01), but no significant correlation with subsequent language development measured at T3. Regression analysis showed that T1 receptive vocabulary significantly predicted T2 expressive vocabulary and Grammatical Complexity scores and T3 language development scores. Moreover, the syntactic ability assessed during T2 independently predicted subsequent language proficiency measured at T3. Conclusions:Early receptive vocabulary and grammar ability two years post CI activation significantly predict later language proficiency in children with cochlear implants. Thus, during rehabilitation, emphasis should be placed on enhancing vocabulary and grammar comprehension.
