Food,drug and environment related cases are becoming more and more frequent,and the demand for on-site rapid detection is also increasing.Nanozymes are nanomaterials with enzyme-like catalytic activity,which have the advantages of high catalytic efficiency,good stability,economy,adjustability,multifunctionality and large-scale preparation.The colorimetric sensing technology based on nanozymes combined with smart phones has wide range of applications in the field of food,drugs and environment detection,and is expected to become an important means for relevant departments to combat crime.This paper summarized the progresses of nanozymes in the field of environmental,food and drug crime(EFDC)detection,focusing on the detection mechanism of different types of nanozymes and the current status of research on the detection of EFDC,and prospected the future development of nanozymes.The possible future prospects of machine learning(ML)in the field of nanozymes colorimetric sensing technology and the challenges in detection of EFDC were also discussed.

OBJECTIVE: Several epidemiological observational studies have related particulate matter (PM) exposure to Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), but many confounding factors make it difficult to draw causal links from observational studies. The objective of this study was to explore the causal association between PM _2.5 exposure, its absorbance, and IBD. METHODS: We assessed the association of PM _2.5 and PM _2.5 absorbance with the two primary forms of IBD (Crohn's disease [CD] and ulcerative colitis [UC]) using Mendelian randomization (MR) to explore the causal relationship. We conducted two-sample MR analyses with aggregated data from the UK Biobank genome-wide association study. Single-nucleotide polymorphisms linked with PM _2.5 concentrations or their absorbance were used as instrumental variables (IVs). We used inverse variance weighting (IVW) as the primary analytical approach and four other standard methods as supplementary analyses for quality control. RESULTS: The results of MR demonstrated that PM _2.5 had an adverse influence on UC risk (odds ratio [ OR] = 1.010; 95% confidence interval [ CI] = 1.001-1.019, P = 0.020). Meanwhile, the results of IVW showed that PM _2.5 absorbance was also causally associated with UC ( OR = 1.012; 95% CI = 1.004-1.019, P = 0.002). We observed no causal relationship between PM _2.5, PM _2.5 absorbance, and CD. The results of sensitivity analysis indicated the absence of heterogeneity or pleiotropy, ensuring the reliability of MR results. CONCLUSION Based on two-sample MR analyses, there are potential positive causal relationships between PM _2.5, PM _2.5 absorbance, and UC.

Objective:To investigate the effect of Chinese Herbal Anti-Alopecia and Hair Growth Solution(CHAaHGS)on the hair growth through in vitro experiments on the human dermal papilla cells(HDPCs),in vivo experiments in the C57BL/6 mice,and human efficacy tests,and to clarify its potential mechanism.Methods:The HDPCs were divided into control group,CHAaHGS group,and minoxidil group.MTT method was used to detect the proliferation activities of HDPCs in various groups;enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)method was used to detect the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),hepatocyte growth factor(HGF),insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1),and transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1)in the supernatant of HDPCs in various groups;real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)method was used to detect the expression levels of VEGF,HGF,IGF-1,TGF-β1,and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)mRNA in the HDPCs in various groups;Western blotting method was used to detect the expression levels of β-catenin,dishevelled segment polarity protein 1(DVL1),glycogen synthase kinase 3β(GSK-3β),phosphorylated GSK-3β(p-GSK-3β),and wingless-type MMTV integration site family member 3a(Wnt3a)proteins in the HDPCs in various groups.A total of 18 mice were randomly divided into control group,CHAaHGS group,and minoxidil group,with 6 mice in each group.The mouse hair loss model was established using hair removal cream,and corresponding drug treatments were administered immediately after hair removal.The lengths and weights of newly grown hair on day 21 of the mice in various groups were detected;HE staining was used to observe the morphology of hair follicles in the dorsal depilated skin areas of the mice in various groups on day 7;ELISA method was used to detect the levels of VEGF,HGF,IGF-1,and TGF-β1 in the skin tissue of dorsal depilated areas of the mice in various groups.Sixty subjects were randomly divided into control group and CHAaHGS group,with 30 subjects in each group.The numbers of hair loss and hair densities of the subjects in various groups were detected at weeks 0,4,8,and 12.Results:The MTT assay results showed that compared with control group,the proliferation activity of the cells in 50 mg·L-1CHAaHGS group was significantly increased(P＜0.01).The ELISA assay results showed that compared with control group,the levels of VEGF,HGF,and IGF-1 in the cell supernatant of HDPCs in CHAaHGS group were significantly increased(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),and the TGF-β1 level was significantly decreased(P＜0.01).The RT-qPCR results showed that compared with control group,the expression levels of VEGF,HGF,IGF-1,and ALP mRNA in the cells in CHAaHGS group were significantly increased(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),and the TGF-β1 mRNA expression level was significantly decreased(P＜0.01).The Western blotting results showed that compared with control group,the expression levels of β-catenin,DVL1,p-GSK-3βand Wnt3a proteins in the cells in CHAaHGS group were significantly increased(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),and the GSK-3β protein expression level was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).In animal experiments,on day 21,compared with control group,the length of newly grown hair of the mice in CHAaHGS group was significantly increased(P＜0.05),and the hair weight was significantly increased(P＜0.01).On day 7,the HE staining results showed that compared with control group,the hair follicle spacing of the mice in CHAaHGS group was significantly decreased(P＜0.05),and the number of hair follicles was significantly increased(P＜0.01);the ELISA assay results showed that compared with control group,the levels of VEGF,HGF,and IGF-1 in skin tissue of dorsal depilated area of the mice in CHAaHGS group were significantly increased(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),and the TGF-β1 level was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).In human efficacy test,compared with control group,the number of hair loss of the subjects in CHAaHGS group was significantly decreased at week 12(P＜0.01),and the local hair density was increased(P＜0.05).Conclusion:CHAaHGS promotes hair growth,and the mechanism may be related to its ability to increase the proliferation activity of HDPCs,induce the secretion of VEGF,HGF,and IGF-1,and activate the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.

PURPOSE: To assess the relationship between dislocation and functional outcomes in supination-external rotation (SER) ankle fractures. METHODS: A retrospective case series study was performed on patients with ankle fractures treated surgically at a large trauma center from January 2015 to December 2021. The inclusion criteria were young and middle-aged patients of 18 - 65 years with SER ankle fractures that can be classified by Lauge-Hansen classification and underwent surgery at our trauma center. Exclusion criteria were serious life-threatening diseases, open fractures, fractures delayed for more than 3 weeks, fracture sites ≥ 2, etc. Then patients were divided into dislocation and no-dislocation groups. Patient demographics, injury characteristics, surgery-related outcomes, and postoperative functional outcomes were collected and analyzed. The functional outcomes of SER ankle fractures were assessed postoperatively at 1-year face-to-face follow-up using the foot and ankle outcome score (FAOS) and American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society ankle hindfoot score and by 2 experienced orthopedic physicians. Relevant data were analyzed using SPSS version 22.0 by Chi-square or t-test. RESULTS: During the study period, there were 371 ankle fractures. Among them, 190 (51.2%) were SER patterns with 69 (36.3%) combined with dislocations. Compared with the no-dislocation group, the dislocation group showed no statistically significant differences in gender, age composition, fracture type, diabetes, or smoking history, preoperative waiting time, operation time, and length of hospital stay (all p > 0.05), but a significantly higher Lauge-Hansen injury grade (p < 0.001) and syndesmotic screw fixation rate (p = 0.033). Moreover, the functional recovery was poorer, revealing a significantly lower FAOS in the sport/rec scale (p < 0.001). Subgroup analysis showed that among SER IV ankle fracture patients, FAOS was much lower in pain (p = 0.042) and sport/rec scales (p < 0.001) for those with dislocations. American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society ankle hindfoot score revealed no significant difference between dislocation and no-dislocation patients. CONCLUSION Dislocation in SER ankle fractures suggests more severe injury and negatively affects functional recovery, mainly manifested as more pain and poorer motor function, especially in SER IV ankle cases.

The aim of this study was to understand the internal genetic diversity and population history dynamics of ticks in Inner Mongolia,to provide data for designing effective vector control programs and revealing ticks'transmission mechanisms.From 2022 to 2023,the manual collection method was used to collect samples in Inner Mongolia.The 16S rDNA and COI gene sequences of ticks were used to identify Hyalomma marginatum,Haemaphysalis concinna,and Argas persicus,and analyze the sequence characteristics and genetic diversity within the populations.Base composition analysis indicated that the average A+T content of the 16S rDNA gene and CO I gene in the three ticks was significantly higher than that of C+G.Moreover,22 haplotypes of the COI gene and 12 haplotypes of the 16S rDNA sequence were identified in Hyalomma marginatum.Eleven haplotypes were identified according to the COI gene,and nine haplotypes were identified according to the16S rDNA sequence of Haemaphysalis concinna.Two haplotypes were identified on the basis of the COI gene,and six haplotypes were identified on the basis of the 16S rDNA sequence of Ar gas persicus.The minimum 16S rDNA haplotype diversity was 0.264 for Ar gas persicus and 0.579 for the other two species.The nucleotide diversity of the three tick species was less than 0.05.Tajima's val-ue and Fu's Fs value of the neutrality test were negative.Base saturation substitution analysis indicated that neither of the two genes in the three tick species reached saturation.The phylogenetic tree revealed that Hyalomma marginatum,Haema physalis concinna,and Ar gas persicus in Inner Mongolia independently aggregated into branches.In conclusion,the base content of Hyalomma marginatum,Haemaphysalis concinna,and Argas persicus genes in Inner Mongolia was consist-ent with the characteristics of insect mitochondrial DNA content.Furthermore,the three tick populations showed rapid evolu-tionary population expansion,and the phylogeny of three tick species showed independent aggregation into clades,with no pop-ulation isolation.

Objective To determine the effects of cardiac resynchronization therapy at different pacing sites on electrocardiogram(ECG),left ventricular(LV)function and adverse events in elderly patients with heart failure(HF).Methods A total of 214 elderly HF patients admitted to our department between July 2021 and July 2024 were retrospectively recruited.According to different pacing sites in cardiac resynchronization therapy,they were divided into His bundle group(102 cases)and left bundle branch group(112 cases).Their grades of New York Heart Association(NYHA)cardiac function,duration of QRS complex,pacing parameters(pacing threshold,pacing perception,pacing resistance),cardiac function indicators,LV function,LV systolic synchrony[standard deviation of time to peak longitudinal strain,to peak radial strain and to peak circumferential strain(Tls-SD,Trs-SD and Tcs-SD)],and incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups before and at 6 months after cardiac pacemaker implantation.Results In 6 months after surgery the left bundle branch group had significantly lower N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide level,smaller LV end-diastolic diameter and LV end-systolic diameter,decreased Tls-SD,Trs-SD and Tcs-SD,and shorter duration of QRS complex,but higher LV ejection fraction,cardiac index and cardiac output when compared with the His bundle group(P＜0.01).The incidence of adverse events was obviously lower in the left bundle branch group than the His bundle group(6.25％vs 15.69％,P＜0.05).Conclusion Left bundle branch pacing shows significant improvement for cardiac function in elderly HF patients,and can effectively maintain ECG stability and improve LV function.It is a safe and effective cardiac resynchronization therapy.

Objective To analyze trend changes of disease burden of hypertensive nephropathy (HTN) between 2012 and 2023 in Chongqing, and to provide the suggestion for HTN prevention and treatment. Methods Death cases of HTN from Chongqing death registration data between 2012 and 2023 were analyzed to calculate indicators such as mortality, age standardization mortality rate (ASMR), rate of years of life lost (YLL) and Average years of life lost. The mortality of HTN between male and female, urban and rural were compared by Chi-square test. The trend change was explained by average annual percent of change (AAPC). Results The mortality and standardized mortality of HTN in Chongqing decreased from 5.44/100 000 and 3.13/100 000 in 2012 to 2.76/100 000 and 1.07/100,000 in 2023 respectively. The average annual percent change (AAPC) was -5.41% and -8.35% respectively, and the differences in the change trends were statistically significant (P<0.01). The mortality and standardized mortality of HTN in males and females decreased with AAPC of 5.50%, 8.07%, 5.27% and 8.69% respectively, and the differences in the change trends were all statistically significant (all P< 0.05). From 2012 to 2014, 2019 and 2021, the mortality rate of HTN in rural areas was higher than that in urban areas (all P < 0.05). The mortality and standardized mortality of HTN in rural areas decreased with AAPC of 6.58% and 9.46% respectively, and the differences in the change trends were all statistically significant (all P<0.05). The rate of YLL and standardized YLL of HTN in Chongqing decreased from 96.02/100 000 and 60.42/100 000 in 2012 to 44.98/100 000 and 21.49/100 000 in 2023 respectively. The AAPC was -5.83% and -7.80% respectively, and the differences in the change trends were statistically significant (both P < 0.05). AYLL of HTN were 17.88 years in 2012, and it was 17.08 years in 2023. There were no statistically significant differences in the changes (both P > 0.05). The standardized AYLL of HTN in rural areas increased at an average annual rate of 1.14%, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The mortality and YLL rate of HNT in Chongqing was lower than it in China. Moreover, its trend was decreased. It should be strengthened early screening and healthy management of HNT.

Objective To analyze the effects of tyrosinase on choroidal and retinal thickness and blood flow changes in guinea pigs,and to explore the role of tyrosinase in the development and progression of myopia.Methods A total of 30 three-week-old male tri-colored guinea pigs and 10 albino guinea pigs were selected and divided into four groups:control group(tri-colored hyperopic guinea pigs,with no intervention),albino group(albino myopic guinea pigs,with no inter-vention),myopia group(tri-colored myopic guinea pigs,with no intervention),and injection group[tri-colored hyperopic guinea pigs,injected with tyrosinase inhibitor(6 250 μg·L-1),100 μL per day].The experiment lasted for 4 weeks.The refractive status and axial length(AL)of the guinea pigs in each group were measured,along with ocular biometric param-eters related to axial length[anterior chamber depth,aqueous humor depth(AQD),central corneal thickness,lens diame-ter,vitreous chamber depth(VCD)].Optical coherence tomography was used to measure the retinal thickness,choroidal thickness(ChT),and choroidal blood perfusion(ChBP)in different regions of the guinea pigs.The tyrosinase activity in the vitreous and retina of guinea pigs in each group was measured.The expression levels of neurotransmitters in the vitre-ous and retina of guinea pigs in each group were detected.Results The differences in refractive status between the albi-no group and the control group at 0,2,and 4 weeks of the experiment were statistically significant(F=8.972,P＜0.05).At the 4th week of the experiment,the refractive status of the injection group was lower than that of the control group,and the AL was greater than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(both P＜0.05).Further analysis of AL-related biometric parameters revealed that only AQD and VCD were associated with the changes in AL of guinea pigs in each group.At the 0th week of the experiment,the average retinal thickness of the control group was greater than that of the albino group,with a statistically significant difference(t=-9.007,P＜0.000 1).Moreover,the differences in reti-nal thickness in the outer retina across different directions and time points were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The differences in retinal thickness between the control and albino groups were mainly concentrated in the outer retina.The ChT of the albino group was less than that of the control group,with a significant difference between groups(F=4.809,P=0.030).The ChBP of the control group was significantly higher than that of the albino group at 0,2,and 4 weeks of the experiment(all P＜0.05).At the 4th week of the experiment,the tyrosinase activity in the vitreous of the injection,albi-no,and myopia groups was lower than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(all P＜0.05).The differences in neurotransmitters between the albino and control groups were mainly concentrated in the vitreous.In the retina,the ornithine level in the myopia group was higher than that in the albino and control groups,and the tryptophan levels in the myopia and control groups were higher than that in the albino group,with statistically significant differences(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Tyrosinase plays a crucial role in the development of myopia,regulating the development of refractive status by influencing the physiological properties of the retina and choroid.

Objective To investigate the effect of the use of glycopyrrolate before anesthesia on the perioperative circulation of patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC).Methods 88 patients undergoing LC from March to June in 2024 were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups:the glycopyrrolate group(group G)and the control group(group C),with 44 patients in each.Three patients from group G and four from group C were excluded,leaving 41 patients in group G and 40 patients in group C.Ten minutes before anesthesia induction,group G received an intravenous dose of 4 μg/kg glycopyrrolate diluted to 5 mL with normal saline.The control group received an equal volume of normal saline.Both groups then received an intravenous infusion of dexmedetomidine at 1 μg/kg over 10 minutes.Heart rate(HR)and mean arterial pressure(MAP)were monitored immediately before infusion of glycopyrrolate/saline(T0),5 min after infusion(T1),10 min after infusion(T2),1 min after tracheal intubation(T3),immediately at skin incision(T4),2 min after pneumoperitoneum(T5),dissociating the cholecyst(T6),and 1 min after tracheal tube drawing(T7).Intraoperative amounts of propofol,rocuronium bromide,sufentanil,remifentanil,oral secretion score,PACU stay time,first postoperative flatus time and the occurrence of perioperative adverse reactions were observed.Results HR at T2,T3,T4,T5,and T6 time points was significantly higher in group G than in group C,while MAP at T1,T2,T3,T4,T5 time points was also significantly higher in group G(P<0.05).HR at T2 time points in Group G was significantly lower than that at T0,while T7 was significantly higher than that at T0 time points.In Group C,HR at T1,T2,T4,T5,and T6 time points was significantly lower than that at T0 time points,while T7 time points was significantly higher than that at T0 time points,with the differences being statistically significant(P<0.05).In Group G,MAP at T1 and T2 time pointswas significantly higher than that at T0,and MAP at T6 was significantly lower than that at T0 time points,and in Group C,MAP at T4,T5 and T6 time points was significantly lower than that at T0 time points,and the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05);Oral secretion was lower in group G compared to group C,with a significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence of bradycardia was significantly lower in group G compared to group C(P<0.05).The incidence of oral dryness within 24 h postoperatively was higher in group G compared to group C(P<0.05).There were no significant differences of HR at T0,T1,and T7 time points,MAP at T0,T6,and T7 time points between the two groups(P>0.05);There were no significant differences of operation time,propofol usage,sufentanil usage,remifentanil usage,rocuronium bromide usage during operation,rate of atropine use,incidence of intraoperative hypotension,PACU stay time,first postoperative flatus,and nausea vomiting rate between the two groups(P>0.05);No delirium occurred in either group of patients 24 h after the operation.Conclusion Use of glycopyrrolate before anesthesia can be effectively applied to patients undergoing LC,is beneficial in reducing the incidence of bradycardia,maintaining the stability of intraoperative circulation,and has no significant effect on the incidence of postoperative delirium and nausea and vomiting.It is a worthy clinical application.
