Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of poisonous mushroom-related foodborne disease incidents in Chongqing from 2010 to 2024, and to provide a scientific basis for effective prevention and control of mushroom-related foodborne diseases. Methods Data of poisonous mushroom related foodborne disease incidents reported by the CDCs of 39 districts and counties in Chongqing from 2010 to 2024 were collected, and their epidemic characteristics were analyzed. Results A total of 264 poisonous mushroom poisoning outbreaks were reported in Chongqing from 2010 to 2024, resulting in 1 046 cases of illness, 543 hospitalizations, and 15 deaths, with a mortality rate of 1.43%. The peak of poisoning incidents was from June to October, accounting for 89.02% of the total number of incidents. The top three high-incidence areas were Pengshui Miao Tujia Autonomous County, Dianjiang County, and Nanchuan District. Poisonous mushroom poisoning incidents occurring in household settings, accidental picking and ingestion, and cases involving unidentified mushroom species accounted for 89.02%, 83.33%, and 90.15% of all foodborne disease outbreak incidents, respectively. Conclusion Foodborne disease incidents related to poisonous mushrooms in Chongqing City show an upward trend, and the effectiveness of prevention and control needs to be improved. Based on their seasonal, regional and household clustering characteristics, efforts should be made before the peak season of mushroom poisoning in high-risk areas, targeting key populations with health education, monitoring and early warning, food safety supervision, and medical treatment.

Methods Medication Safety Panel in China Core Group of International Network for the Rational Use of Drugs (INRUD) and Chinese Pharmacological Society Professional Committee of Drug-induced Diseases jointly established a research group. Basing on the voluntary principle,members (medical institutions)of the group did medication safety self-assessment using the questionnaires of "2011 ISMP Medication Safety Self Assessment? for Hospitals (Chinese version)", which included 10 key elements,20 core indicators,and 270 assessment projects. The questionnaires were handed out on August 17,2018 and needed to be completed and submitted within 2 months. Results As of October 19,2018,67 hospitals of 16 provincial administrative regions in total had submitted their questionnaires,including 61 (91. 0％)3A hospitals and 6 (9％)2A hospitals. The average value of total scores of medication safety self-assessment in the 67 hospitals was 58. 9％ (7. 6％ -90. 0％). None of the 67 hospitals evaluated the key element Ⅵ(medication device acquisition,use,and monitoring). Bacterial ghosts are bacterial cell envelopes devoid of cytoplasmic contents while maintaining their cellular morphology, which can be used as a new vaccine and delivery vector. In this study, a clinical isolate of avian pathogenic Escherichia coli (APEC) strain DE17 was used to prepare bacterial ghost through three different ways. The results showed that the cleavage efficiency of DE17 bacterial ghost was 99.9% with the lysis plasmid containing the PhiX174 lysis gene E. Scanning electron microscopy showed that transmembrane tunnels were formed in the middle or both ends of the cell envelope of DE17. Furthermore, the DE17 bacterial ghost was prepared with one of cell penetrating peptides (CPPs) named MAP (KLALKLALKALKAALKLA), which will completely inactivate DE17 (OD₆₀₀=0.1) by 10 μmol/L MAP. The cell envelope showed a gully-like structure and obvious transmembrane tunnels were not found through the SEM. However, the DE17 could not be lysed by importing the lysis plasmid (pBV220-MAP), which was used to express MAP. The present study will benefit for research on bacterial ghost preparation methods and provide a reference for biosafety of bacterial ghost vaccines.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of β-adrenoceptor (β-AR) blockers on G protein and heart function changes in rats with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) MethodsWistar rats with AMI induced by left anterior descending coronary branch ligation were randomly divided into compared with sham operation group. Eight weeks after therapy, hemodynamics was assessed by inserting catheters and the level of G protein was detected by Western blot analysis. ResultsCompared with the sham operation group, systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), left ventricular systolic pressure(LVSP) and left ventrieular pressure maximal rate of rise and fall(±dp/dtmax) in AMI group were significantly decreased, while left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP) and Gs and Gi protein levels were significantly increased (all P<0.05). Compared with AMI group, LVSP and ± dp/dtmax were increased, but LVEDP and Gi protein level were significantly decreased in metoprolol and carvedilol group. LVEDP and Gi protein level were decreased in carvedilol group compared with metoprolol group. ConclusionsCarvedilol can effectively suppress the change of G protein and improve the heart function after AMI, and the effect is better than that of metoprolol. This may be related with its β2-AR blocking effect.

Objective: To describe the prevalence of depressive and/or anxiety symptom and disorder in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) in the general hospitals.Methods: A hospital-based cross-sectional study was conducted in four main cities in China in 2004.359 eligible subjects with CHD were recruited from the outpatient or inpatient departments within six months.Face-to-face interviews were used in data collection together with the self-completed HAD scale for depressive and/or anxiety symptom screening.Subjects getting a HAD score of 9 and above were further assessed for depressive and/or anxiety disorders with HAMA scales and HAMD scales by the licensed psychologists or psychiatrists.Results: The prevalence of depressive symptoms,anxiety symptoms,depressive and anxiety symptoms,and total depressive and/or anxiety symptoms were 19.8%,16.7%,13.6% and 22.8% respectively in patients with CHD.Less than 4% of the subjects had been diagnosed or treated for the depressive or anxiety disorders prior to the investigation.In inpatients,the diagnosis and treatment rate was low to less than 1% during the current admission.Conclusion: It was noticeable to health care providers and health policy makers that there was high prevalence of depressive and/or anxiety symptoms and depressive and/or anxiety disorders,and low percentages of previous diagnosis and treatment in patients with CHD in general hospitals.

Objective To study the therapeutic effects of Enalapril on hemodynamic indexes in cardiac shock dogs induced by acute right ventricular myocardial infarction(RVMI).Methods Models of RVMI accompanied with cardiac shock were induced by ligating coronary artery.Dogs were randomly divided into three groups:control group,fluid replacement group and Enalapril group.The hemodynamie indexes including mean arterial pressure(MAP),cardiac output (CO),right atrial pressure(RAP)and right ventrieular systolic pressure(RVSP)were measured before and immediately after RVMI model establishment,and 1 hour and 1 week after the treatment.The therapeutic effects were evaluated. Results After rapid fluid replacement treatment,RAP became higher and the hemodynamics deteriorated.After Enalapril treatment,RAP decreased and CO increased.Conclusion When RVMI in large area occurs,fluid replacement would further deteriorate the heart function of left and right ventricles when RAP≥13 mmHg,and Enulapril fluid replacement would reduce the right ventricle load and improve shock.

BACKGROUNDTo evaluate and compare the effects and toxicity of the domestic product of recombinant mutant human tumor necrosis factor (rmhTNF) combined with chemotherapy and chemotherapy alone in the treatment of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

METHODSTwo hundred patients with NSCLC in multicenter were randomly devided into trial group (150 cases) and control group (50 cases). Chemotherapy with CAP regimen was given to the patients. Meanwhile, rmhTNF injection of 4×10⁶U/m² was also given from the 1st to 7th days, the 11th to 17th days on the chemotherapy cycle in the trial group. The control patients received chemotherapy alone. Twenty-one days were as a cycle, 2 cycles were given to each patient. The chemotherapeutic effects and toxicity were observed and compared between the two groups after the therapy.

RESULTSof the 200 patients, 5 cases in the trial group and 3 cases in the control group were out of the trial because of economy. The other 192 cases (145 cases in the trial group and 47 cases in the control group) could be analyzed and evaluated the clinical effects and toxicity. The response rate of chemotherapy was 46.90% (68/145) in the trial group and 17.02% (8/47) in the control group respectively ( P =0.001). The KPS scores was 86.02±9.74 in the trial group, and 80.14±9.10 in the control group ( P =0.025). No significant difference of degree III+IV toxicity was observed between the two groups ( P > 0.05). The side effects related to rmhTNF included slight fever, cold-like symptoms, pain and red and swelling in the injection site. All of them were mild and didn't need any treatment and disappeared after the therapy. There were no severe abnormality of liver and kidney function and ECG in both groups.

CONCLUSIONSThe results demonstrate that the effects of domestic rmhTNF combined with chemotherapy are remarkably higher than that of chemotherapy alone in the treatment of NSCLC. rmhTNF can increase the sensitivity to chemotherapy and improve the quality of life of the patients with slight toxicity. Hence rmhTNF is worth expanding clinical use.

Objective To determine the effect of 6-aminocaproic acid (EACA) to reduce postoperation bleeding following in mitral valve replacement.Method 50 adult patients uddergoing mitral valve replacement was adopted a double-bisind randomized trial to be divided into two groups.Each group is 25 patients.The patients in control groups received NS,the ones in study groups received NS as same as control groups but added EACE 10 g by intravation.The bleeding amount in cavitas thoracis were recorded on the sixth,twenty-fourth postoperative hours and ACT was recorded as well.Results The bleeding amount in study groups on the sixth postoperative hours were (290.0±41.3) ml.On twenty-fourth postoperative hours were (336.3±81.3) ml.The bleeding amount in control groups on the sixth postoperative hours were (393.4±73.6) ml.On twenty-fourth postoperative hours were (450.0±79.6) ml.The bleeding amount in study groups were decreased significantly as compared with in control groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:6-aminocaproic acid can reduce postoperation bleeding following in mitral valve replacement.
