Objective To analyze the expression levels of neuron specific enolase(NSE),stromal cell-derived factor-1(SDF-1)and decoy receptor 3(DcR3)in serum of patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and their prognostic value.Methods From March 2019 to March 2020,132 NSCLC patients admitted to Yixing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the People's Hospital of Subei were collected as the study subjects(NSCLC group),another 132 healthy examinees who came to our hospital were as the control group.enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was applied to detect the expression levels of NSE,SDF-1,and DcR3 in serum;multivariate Logistic regression was applied to analyze the influencing factors of poor prognosis in NSCLC patients;and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was applied to analyze the value of serum NSE,SDF-1,and DcR3 expression levels in evaluating the prognosis of NSCLC patients.Results The expression levels of NSE,SDF-1,and DcR3 in the serum of the NSCLC group were obviously higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05);the expression levels of NSE,SDF-1,and DcR3 in the serum of NSCLC patients with a tumor diameter of≥3 cm,low tumor differentiation,TNM staging of stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,and lymph node metastasis were obviously higher than those of NSCLC patients with a tumor diameter of＜3 cm,high/medium tumor differentiation,TNM staging of stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ,and no lymph node metastasis(P＜0.05);compared with the good prognosis group,the expression levels of NSE,SDF-1,and DcR3 in the serum of NSCLC patients in poor prognosis groupwere obviously increased,and the proportion of lymph node metastasis was obviously increased(P＜0.05);the results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that NSE,SDF-1,DcR3,and lymph node metastasis were the influencing factors for poor prognosis in NSCLC patients(P＜0.05);the results of receiver operating characteristic analysis showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of serum NSE,SDF-1 and DcR3 levels in evaluating prognosis of NSCLC patients was 0.852,which was more valuable than the single index of NSE,SDF-1 and DcR3.Conclusion The expression levels of NSE,SDF-1,and DcR3 in the serum of NSCLC patients are obviously increased,and the combination of the three can be used as a prognostic indicator for NSCLC patients.

The liver plays an important regulatory role in maintaining the dynamic balance of coagulation and anticoagulation in the body. Such dynamic balance is fragile in patients with liver cirrhosis， and the risk of bleeding can be increased due to reductions in coagulation factors and platelet count and excessive fibrinolysis； meanwhile， thrombus can be formed due to the increases in von Willebrand factor and coagulation factor Ⅷ， the reductions in anticoagulant protein C and anticoagulant protein S， the increase in thrombin-generating potential， and alterations in antifibrinolytic components. This article reviews the mechanisms of coagulation disorder in liver cirrhosis， so as to help clinicians with the prevention and treatment of bleeding or thrombotic disorders in patients with liver cirrhosis.

Objective:To explore the risk factors and protective factors for esophageal cancer, and provide strategies for prevention, clinical treatment and later-stage intervention.Methods:A total of 150 patients with pathologically confirmed esophageal cancer admitted to Nanjing Liuhe District People′s Hospital from July 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the observation group, and 150 non-tumor patients hospitalized in the department of orthopedics during the same period were selected as the control group. A questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze the independent risk factors and independent protective factors for esophageal cancer.Results:Univariate Logistic regression analysis showed that smoking, alcohol consumption, drinking hot tea (hot drinking >65 ℃), eating hard food, frequency of consuming pickled food, frequency of consuming fruits, frequency of consuming vegetables, frequency of getting angry, economic income and frequency of consuming bread were factors affecting the incidence of esophageal cancer ( P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that smoking, consuming fruits ≤3 times per week, previously drinking alcohol but currently not drinking, and not eating hard food were factors affecting the incidence of esophageal cancer ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Smoking and consuming fruits ≤3 times per week are independent risk factors for esophageal cancer, while previously drinking alcohol but currently not drinking and not eating hard food are independent protective factors for esophageal cancer.

Objective To analyze the epidemic characteristics of varicella and the genetic characteristics of varicella zoster virus (VZV) in Yangzhou in 2021, and to provide a theoretical basis for the scientific prevention and control of varicella in Yangzhou. Methods Descriptive epidemiological analysis was carried out on the varicella outbreaks reported in Yangzhou in 2021. Throat swabs or herpes fluid samples from varicella cases in 2021 were collected, and the viral nucleic acid was detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR. The genotype and evolutionary relationship of the virus strain were determined according to the 6 SNPs in the ORF22 gene fragment sequence. Results In 2021, there were 20 varicella outbreaks in Yangzhou, involving 147 cases, all of which occurred in kindergartens and primary and secondary schools, and the peak incidence was in the age group of 4-7 years old. The high incidence time of the outbreaks was from May to July, and from November to January of the next year. The varicella vaccination rate of the cases was low, and all were 1-dose vaccination. The gene sequencing results of 8 samples were J/clade 2, and 3 of them had A-C synonymous mutation at position 37997 in ORF22 sequence. Conclusion In 2021, varicella outbreaks in Yangzhou occurred mainly in kindergartens and schools. Preschool children are susceptible, all of which are caused by J/clade 2 varicella-zoster virus. It is suggested to strengthen the monitoring and management of the varicella epidemic situation in schools in the city, and at the same time incorporate the varicella vaccine into the routine immunization program of the city and strengthen 2 doses of varicella vaccination.

Objective To probe into the characteristics and influencing factors of ADR cases induced by Esophageal stents, so as to provide effective resolutions for safety use. Methods By retrieving published MDR cases induced by Esophageal stents in FDA MAUDE database and CNKI database, 153 cases of adverse events in MAUDE database from 2012 to 2015 and 96 valid documents between 1994 and 2015 were obtained, screened and analyzed retrospectively. Results The main MDR performance were gastrointestinal bleeding, chest pain, foreign body sensation, etc, due to the risk inherent in the product or risk during use. Conclusion The public safety of Esophageal stents use can be ensued according to perfecting related laws, establishing and regulating the MDR monitor system and strengthening the responsibility of authority, manufacturers, suppliers and medical institutions.

Objective Using an adenoviral vector , the wild-type PTEN gene was transduced into activated hepatic stellate cell (HSC) in vitro and the phosphorylation status of Akt were investigated. Methods The wild type PTEN gene was transduced into activated HSC in vitro mediated by adenoviral vector. The expressions of PTEN and total Akt in HSC were measured by Western blot and Real-time fluorescent quantitation PCR. And the expressions of phosphorylated Akt (Thr308) in HSC was determined by Western blot. Results The data showed that exogenous wild type PTEN gene was successfully transduced and expressed in activated HSC in vitro. The over-expression of wild type PTEN resulted in the significant down-regulated expression of phosphorylated Akt (Thr308) in activated HSC (P < 0.01). But no significant defferences were found in the expression of total Akt in activated HSC at both transcriptional and translational levels(P>0.50). Conclusions The overexpression of wild-type PTEN can negatively regulate PI3K/Akt signaling transduction by inhibiting the phosphorylation of Akt in activated HSC in vitro.
