BACKGROUND:The immune cell composition and functional states within the tumor microenvironment of epithelial ovarian cancer directly influence patient prognosis and therapeutic response.Recent studies indicate that CD4+T cells not only support anti-tumor immunity but can also exert direct anti-tumor effects under specific conditions.High infiltration of CD8+T cells is considered a positive prognostic marker.FOXP3+regulatory T cells play a crucial role in maintaining immune tolerance and modulating immune responses.OBJECTIVE:The data from 416 epithelial ovarian cancer patients along with clinical pathology samples from 21 patients were comprehensively analyzed utilizing bioinformatics algorithms to investigate the relationship between the expression of CD4+T cells,CD8+T cells, and FOXP3+T cells in the tumor microenvironment and survival outcomes in ovarian cancer patients.METHODS:(1)The study categorized 416 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer from the Ovarian Cancer subset of The Cancer Genome Atlas using the Non-negative Matrix Factorization algorithm. The CIBERSORT algorithm(Cell-type Identification By Estimating Relative Subsets Of RNA Transcripts)was employed to examine differences in immune cell infiltration between patients with high and low survival rates.(2)Multiplex immunohistochemistry was used to assess the expression of CD4,CD8,and FOXP3 in pathological tissue samples from 21 patients from Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, and their association with patient prognosis was analyzed.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The high survival rate group exhibited significantly greater infiltration of immune cells, including CD4+T cells,CD8+T cells, and FOXP3+regulatory T cells, compared with the low survival rate group(P<0.01).Results from the multiplex immunohistochemistry experiments revealed that high expression of FOXP3 was significantly correlated with better prognosis in ovarian cancer patients(P<0.05).It is indicated that the expression of FOXP3 in the tumor microenvironment is associated with survival outcomes in epithelial ovarian cancer patients, suggesting that the infiltration of FOXP3+regulatory T cells in the tumor microenvironment is a key factor influencing patient prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the color Doppler ultrasonographic findings of active ankylosing sacroiliitis. Methods Thirty three patients (66 sacroiliac joints in total) with active ankylosing sacroiliitis identified by MRI and twenty eight healthy volunteers (56 sacroiliac joints) underwent color Doppler ultrasound examinations of sacroiliac joints.Degree of blood flow within and around the sacroiliac joints was evaluated by semi-quantitative scale (0 - 4 grade). For arteries, resistive index was also measured.Statistical analyses were performed to compare blood flow demonstration rate, blood flow signal scale distribution, degree of blow flow and RI value between the two groups. Results Higher blood flow demonstration rate was found in patients with active ankylosing sacroiliitis(60/66,90.1%) than control group (25/56,44.6%)( P = 0.000).The scale distribution and degree of blow flow between these two groups were statistically different (all P = 0.000) ,with mainly 2~3 grade for the patients and 0~1 grade for the control.Mean value of RI in the patients was 0.57 ± 0.07, which was lower than the control (0.66 ± 0.04, P = 0.000).Conclusions Patients with active ankylosing sacroiliitis tend to have higher degree of blood flow in sacroiliac joints and lower RI values of artery.Color Doppler ultrasound may help to evaluate the activity of ankylosing sacroiliitis.

Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of combined treatment by laparoscopic cholecystectomy and subsequent ablation in patients with HCC adjacent to the gallbladder. Methods From June 2005 to June 2009,13 patients with HCC nodules( less than 3 cm) adjacent to the gallbladder were treated by ablation after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The rate of complete necrosis as well as postoperative complications were also analyzed. Results All the patients showed complete necrosis of their tumor lesions after treatment by ablation subsequence of laparoscopic cholecystectomy. During the follow-up period( nearly 2 years), recurrent nodules appeared in other subsegments but not at the original site treated by ablation. Of note, no fatal complications were observed in all the ablation treated patients. Conclusion Combined treatment by laparoscopic cholecystectomy and subsequent PMCT was an effective and safe method for patients with small HCC which was adjacent to gallhladder.
