The 2025 Edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China added the physical performance evaluation method of metallic metered dose inhalation(MDI)canister and related standards.The relevant physical performance evaluation methods are of great significance to the quality control of metallic inhalation canister,which is an important basis for the evaluation of drug protection ability,and also fills the blank of the physical performance evaluation method of metallic cans for drug packaging.It can scientifically and effectively guide the drug packaging material production enterprises to carry out standardized and unified quality control of metallic MDI inhalation canister,play a role in the quality control of metallic MDI inhalation canister,and ensure the safety,effectiveness,and accessibility of drugs in the whole life cycle.By comparing the domestic and international standards of metallic canister,this document mainly analyzed the detection principle,method points and its role in drug packaging quality control of pressure resistance performance、internal coating continuity,oxide film thickness,coating surface energy and coating contact angle,to help all parties more effectively and fully understand,master and apply the physical performance evaluation methods of the metallic MDI inhalation canister and relevant standards in the 2025 Edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China,and provide theoretical guidance and technical support for the implementation of the standard.

Objective:To develop an exercise rehabilitation program based on the Temporal Self-regulation Theory and evaluate its effectiveness in elderly patients with hip fractures.Methods:A total of 84 elderly patients with hip fractures admitted to the Department of Trauma Orthopedics at the First Affiliated Hospital of University of South China from May to August 2024 were enrolled using convenience sampling. Participants were randomly assigned to an experimental group ( n=42) and a control group ( n=42) using a random number table. The control group received routine exercise rehabilitation, while the experimental group received an exercise rehabilitation program constructed based on the Temporal Self-regulation Theory. The program included components such as establishing a unified concept of "exercise-rehabilitation", enhancing time-limited efficacy, achieving behavioral advantages, and improving self-regulation of active movement. Both groups received interventions for 12 weeks. Functional exercise adherence, activities of daily living, and hip joint function were assessed using the Orthopedic Exercise Adherence Scale, Modified Barthel Index, and Harris Hip Score at four time points: before intervention, on the day of discharge, and at 4 and 12 weeks postoperatively. Results:During the study, two patients from each group dropped out. Results of the generalized estimating equations showed group effects, time effects, and interaction effects in adherence scores with statistically significant differences ( P<0.01). On the day of discharge, and at 4 and 12 weeks postoperatively, the adherence scores in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Repeated measures ANOVA indicated that group effects, time effects, and interaction effects were also statistically significant in scores for daily living ability and hip joint function ( P<0.05). The experimental group scored higher than the control group at each time point with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The exercise rehabilitation program based on the Temporal Self-regulation Theory is scientifically sound and practical. It can effectively improve functional exercise adherence, enhance daily living ability, and promote postoperative recovery of hip joint function in elderly patients with hip fractures.

Objective: To investigate the association between 24 hour activity behavior and body composition among primary and secondary school students using compositional data analysis method, so as to provide scientific guidance for optimizing daily activity allocation and improving physical health. Methods: In June 2021, following the principle of random cluster sampling, 349 primary and middle school students were selected by lottery method from Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. Compositional multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between different 24 hour activity behaviors and body composition indicators. The isotemporal substitution model was adopted to examine the quantitative effects of substituting 10 or 20 minutes among activity behaviors on body composition. Results: In girls, sedentary behavior (SB) time was negatively correlated with fat free mass (FFM) ( β =-4.81); in boys, moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) time was positively correlated with FFM ( β =7.01), while light physical activity (LPA) time was negatively correlated with FFM ( β =-9.26) and positively correlated with body fat percentage (FAT%) ( β =0.09) (all P <0.01). Isocaloric substitution analysis revealed that replacing the same duration of MVPA with SB, sleep (SL), or LPA for 10 or 20 minutes produced significantly greater adverse effects compared to the beneficial effects of MVPA substitution. Replacing MVPA with LPA for 10 minutes resulted in 1.01% increase in FAT% and 0.91% decrease in reverse substitution for boys; replacing MVPA with SB or SL for 10 minutes resulted in a decrease of 1.10 kg and 1.16 kg in FFM for boys, 0.81 kg and 0.74 kg for girls, and reverse substitution increased by 0.92 and 0.97 kg, 0.65 and 0.58 kg, respectively (all P < 0.05 ). When LPA, SB or SL were replaced with MVPA for 20 minutes, the trend of change were basically consistent (all P <0.05). Conclusions Activity behaviors of 24 hour are associated with body composition among primary and secondary school students. MVPA is the primary influential component.

Their ages at visit ranged from 2 to 67 (30.87 ± 12.36) years. The most commonly affected sites were the head and face (52.2%) , followed by hair (32.1%) , hands and feet (31.4%) , trunk (30.2%) , limbs (24.3%) , neck (19.5%) , and perineum (9.9%) . Among the participants, 320 (64.5%) were currently using or had used HBPT, and 352 (70.8%) expressed a willingness to learn more about HBPT usage guidelines and health education. Regarding the repigmentation outcomes after HBPT: among 312 patients, 54 (17.3%) reported complete recovery, 64 (20.5%) were markedly improved, 142 (45.5%) experienced improvement, and 52 (16.7%) showed no response. Adverse reactions occurred in 223 patients (71.5%) , of whom 28 (9.0%) experienced severe adverse reactions. The most desired guiding information was the adjustment method for phototherapy dosage and treatment duration (184/352, 52.3%) ; the most effective way to receive health education information was through verbal education by medical staff (177/352, 50.3%) .Conclusion:For vitiligo patients who were willing to accept and use HBPT, the most desired guiding information was the adjustment method for phototherapy dosage and treatment duration, and verbal health education by medical staff appeared to be the main way to obtain health education information.

Local anesthetics (LAs), such as articaine (AT), exhibit limited efficacy in inflammatory environments, which constitutes a significant limitation in their clinical application within oral medicine. In our prior research, we developed AT-17, which demonstrated effective properties in chronic inflammatory conditions and appears to function as a novel oral LA that could address this challenge. In the present study, we further elucidated the beneficial effects of AT-17 in acute inflammation, particularly in oral acute inflammation, where mitochondrial-related apoptosis played a crucial role. Our findings indicated that AT-17 effectively inhibited lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nerve cell apoptosis by ameliorating mitochondrial dysfunction in vitro. This process involved the inhibition of mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (mtROS) production and the subsequent activation of the NRF2 pathway. Most notably, improvements in mitochondria-related apoptosis were key contributors to AT-17's inhibition of voltage-gated sodium channels. Additionally, AT-17 was shown to reduce mtROS production in nerve cells through the Na⁺/NCLX/ETC signaling axis. In conclusion, we have developed a novel local anesthetic that exhibits pronounced anesthetic functionality under inflammatory conditions by enhancing mitochondria-related apoptosis. This advancement holds considerable promise for future drug development and deepening our understanding of the underlying mechanisms of action.

OBJECTIVE To compare the consistency between the semi-quantitative detection of HPV E6/E7 mRNA and the detection of p16 IHC and E6/E7RNA ISH in the tissues,and the feasibility of detecting high-risk HPV in head and neck mucosal lesions by HPV E6/E7 mRNA detection in the swabs was discussed.METHODS A total of 100 cases of head and neck mucosal lesions treated by the Department of Head and Neck Surgery,Beijing Tongren Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from September 2022 to August 2023 were collected.Semi-quantitative detection of HPV E6/E7 mRNA was performed in oropharynx,lesion surface swab and lesion tissue specimen,and p16 immunohistochemical staining(IHC)and E6/E7 mRNA in situ hybridization(ISH)were detected in lesion tissue,and the consistency and difference of different detection results were studied.RESULTS Among the 100 patients,83 met the inclusion criteria and were divided into 21 papilloma cases,10 polyps/chronic inflammation cases,19 laryngeal cancer cases,13 oropharyngeal cancer cases,and 20 hypopharyngeal cancer cases according to pathological diagnosis.The HPV E6/E7 mRNA semi-quantitative results of oropharyngeal swab and lesion surface swab showed moderate or near high consistency with p16 IHC results.The results of HPV E6/E7 mRNA semi-quantitative in diseased tissue were highly consistent with those of p16 IHC(Kappa=0.780).In the diagnostic efficacy analysis,both swabs showed high consistency with HPV E6/E7 mRNA ISH(Kappa=0.690 and 0.708).CONCLUSION In the head and neck mucosal lesions,the HPV semi-quantitative detection results of oropharyngeal and lesion surface swab showed good consistency compared with classical p16 IHC and gold standard HPV E6/E7 mRNA ISH.It is a simple and reliable method for clinical high-risk HPV detection,which is helpful for the screening and individualized precise prevention and control of HPV infection in head and neck mucosal lesions.

Objective:To investigate the effect of cancer nodules on postoperative liver metastasis in patients undergoing radical resection of colorectal cancer.Methods:The clinicopathological data of 196 patients undergoing radical operation for colorectal cancer admitted to the Dongnan Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2019 to June 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the pathological results, they were divided into cancer nodule group and non-cancer nodule group. Time and the number of liver metastasis during the follow-up period were analyzed. The relationship between cancer nodules and clinicopathological features was analyzed, and the influencing factors of postoperative liver metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer were analyzed by univariate and logistic multivaiate analysis. The receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to analyze the predictive effect of cancer nodule diameter on postoperative liver metastasis of colorectal cancer.Results:There were 50 patients accompanied by cancer nodules in 196 patients with colorectal cancer, the incidence rate was 25.5%, the diameter of cancer nodules was 0.4-1.8 cm, the median diameter was 1.0 cm, and there were 46 patients with liver metastasis, the incidence rate was 23.5%. There were statistically significant differences in carbohydrate antigen CA19-9 ( χ2=7.55, P=0.006), maximum tumor diameter ( χ2=12.23, P<0.001), T stage ( χ2=15.79, P<0.001), vascular thrombus ( χ2=12.79, P<0.001), lymph node metastasis ( χ2=16.18, P<0.001) between the cancer nodule group and the non-cancer nodule group. Univariate analysis showed that CA19-9 ( χ2=7.40, P=0.007), maximum tumor diameter ( χ2=8.23, P=0.004), T stage ( χ2=4.58, P=0.032), vascular cancer thrombus ( χ2=12.97, P<0.001), lymph node metastasis ( χ2=3.96, P=0.047), cancer nodules ( χ2=67.60, P<0.001), cancer nodule diameter ( t=4.28, P<0.001), and the number of cancer nodules ( χ2=68.77, P<0.001) were all influential factors for postoperative liver metastasis in colorectal cancer patients. Multivariate analysis showed that stage T 3-4 ( OR=4.62, 95% CI: 1.51-7.35, P=0.003), vascular cancer thrombus ( OR=5.42, 95% CI: 1.75-12.85, P<0.001), accompanied by cancer nodules ( OR=18.54, 95% CI: 7.45-39.73, P<0.001), the diameter of cancer nodules ( OR=13.20, 95% CI: 4.74-29.64, P<0.001), number of nodules [one cancer nodule ( OR=9.11, 95% CI: 2.24-27.34, P<0.001), two cancer nodules ( OR=6.36, 95% CI: 1.38-9.08, P<0.001) and three cancer nodules ( OR=5.00, 95% CI: 1.98-8.84, P<0.001) ] were independent influencing factors for postoperative liver metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer. ROC curve analysis showed that the best threshold of the diameter of cancer nodules for predicting liver metastasis was 1.1 cm [area under the curve (AUC) =0.764, 95% CI: 0.632-0.896, P=0.002). The incidence of liver metastasis in patients with cancer nodules diameter≥1.1 cm was 95.65% (22/23), higher than that in patients with cancer nodules diameter<1.1 cm (40.74%, 11/27), with a statistically significant difference ( χ2=16.69, P<0.001) . Conclusion:Patients with colorectal cancer with cancer nodules≥1.1 cm in diameter should be vigilant against postoperative liver metastasis.
