Objective:To reveal the current status and existing problems in the coupling and coordinated development of medical security and common prosperity in China, and to provide decision-making references for advancing the high-quality development of medical security, achieving the goal of common prosperity, and promoting the coordinated development of both systems. Methods:The entropy weight method was employed to measure the levels of medical security and common prosperity across 31 provinces from 2013 to 2022.A coupling coordination degree model was utilized to explore the coupling dynamic relationship between these two systems.Kernel density estimation was applied to analyze the dynamic evolution of their coupling coordination, while Moran's I and Dagum's Gini coefficient were used to investigate the spatial differentiation characteristics of their coupling coordination. Results:Over the decade, both medical security and common prosperity levels in different pronvinces improved significantly, with regional disparities continuously narrowing. The coordinated development degree between medical security and common prosperity achieved a substantial leap, shifting from provinces predominantly categorized as"barely coordinated"and"primary coordination"to those concentrated in"intermediate coordination".The coordinated development of medical security and common prosperity exhibits spatial spillover effects and spatial disparities, with the primary source of spatial differences stemming from disparities between the eastern region and other areas. Conclusion:Future efforts should focus on integrating the medical security system to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs, promoting the scientific and rational allocation of medical resources guided by common prosperity, and driving high-quality coupling and coordinated development through dual-way empowerment between medical security and common prosperity.

Objective To study the influence of hemodialysis on inflammatory state and immune function by analyzing the change of serum protein components in uremic patients before and after hemodialysis. Methods 75 cases of uremic patients confirmed by the Nephrology from October 2013 to May 2014 were selected as the observation group, and 15 healthy volun-teers at the same time as the control group. Then the serum protein electrophoresis pattern of observation group beford the first hemodialysis, after the first hemodialysis, after one month’s treatment and control group were compared with each oth-er.Results In the observation group before and after the first hemodialysis, the ALB levels were lower,α1 and α2 globulin levels were higher than those in control group. There was a statistically significant between the observation group before and after the first hemodialysis and control group (P <0.001).After the first hemodialysis, there were differences inα1 globulin levels compared with before the first hemodialysis (P <0.01).ALB was no significant difference after one month’s hemodi-alysis compared with before the first hemodialysis,andα1,α2 globulin were significantly reduced and the difference was sta-tistically significant (P <0.001),ALB was lower than the control group and was statistically significant (P <0.001).After one month’s hemodialysis, the levels ofγglobulin were higher than those in control group, before the first hemodialysis and after the first hemodialysis. There were significant differences (P <0.001 or P <0.01).Conclusion Regular and effective hemodialysis can improve inflammatory state and immune function of uremic patients.

To investigate the antitumor activities of the immunoconjugates composed of anti-type IV collagenase monoclonal antibody Fab' fragment and lidamycin (LDM) prepared with different linkers. The immunoconjugates were prepared by linking Fab' to lysine-69 of LDM apoprotein by SPDP, LCSPDP, SMBS or SSMPB as the intermediate drug linkers. Immunoreactivities of the conjugates were determined by ELISA. The cytotoxicities of the conjugates were examined by clonogenic assay. In vivo antitumor effects of the conjugates were evaluated in nude mice bearing subcutaneously implanted HT-1080 tumor. ELISA assay showed that the conjugates retained part of the immunoreactivity of 3G11 against the antigen. The cytotoxicities of the Fab'-SMBS-LDM and Fab'-SSMPB-LDM to HT-1080 cells were significantly potent, compared with Fab'-SPDP-LDM, Fab'-LCSPDP-LDM and free LDM. In animal models at the same condition, free LDM, Fab'-SPDP-LDM and Fab'-LCSPDP-LDM inhibited the growth of HT-1080 tumor by 70.9%, 74.8% and 72.3%, while Fab'-SMBS-LDM and Fab'-SSMPB-LDM reached 78.0% and 87.7%, respectively. The median survival time of the mice treated with free LDM, Fab'-SPDP-LDM and Fab'-LCSPDP-LDM were prolonged by 71.9%, 82.2% and 107.5%, respectively, compared with that of untreated group. Whereas, the median survival time of Fab'-SMBS-LDM and Fab'-SSMPB-LDM were prolonged by 145.2% and 165.8%, respectively, indicating that Fab'-SSMPB-LDM was more effective than Fab'-SMBS-LDM in tumor suppression and life span prolongation. Fab'-SSMPB-LDM has more marked selective antitumor efficacy and lower toxicity, and might be a novel candidate for cancer therapy.

OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of injection n-Butyl cyanoacrylate (NBCA) in treating laryngopharynx hemangioma.
METHOD:
Thirty cases of laryngopharynx hemangioma who received NBCA injection were obtained from our department 1998-2007. Twenty-five cases had tracheotomy under General anesthesia, and NBCA was injected into hemangioma by direct laryngoscopy. NBCA was mixed with iodide, and the concentration was 25.00% to 33.33%, NBCA dosage was 0.5 ml to 2.0 ml. There were 5 cases whose hemangioma confined to oropharynx didn't have tracheotomy, and they were injected straightly with the speculum oris. We observed the shedding of hemangioma in different time.
RESULT:
Hemangioma with diameter less than 1 cm, shedded in about 1 month. However, hemangioma with diameter more than 4 cm, shedded in a period more than 3.5 month. No recurrence was observed in the follow up of 3 months to seven years.
CONCLUSION
Avoiding dissection of neck and repetitious operation, NBCA injection could be a safe, simple and effective therapy for laryngopharynx hemangioma.

Aim To investigate the induction of endothelial cell apoptosis and the suppression of VEGF expression in cancer cells by sodium caffeate (SCA). Methods Apoptosis of transformed human umbilical vein endothelial cells (ECV304 cell line) was detected by flow cytometry, DNA electrophoresis assay and morphological assessment. Western blotting analysis was applied for determination of VEGF expression in cancer cells. Substrate degradation by type Ⅳ collagenase was measured by zymography.ELISA was used to detect the binding of type Ⅳ collagenase with relevant monoclonal antibody. Results SCA induced ECV304 cell apoptosis in a time- and dose-dependent manner. After treatment with 100 and fluorescence and distinct changes of nuclear morphology, such as pyknosis and the occurrence of apoptotic bodies. VEGF expression in hepatoma HepG-2 cells and prostate carcinoma DU145 cells was reduced after SCA treatment. The degradation activity of type Ⅳ collagenase including MMP-2 and MMP-9 secreted by giant cell pulmonary carcinoma PG cells was inhibited by SCA in a dose-dependent manner. SCA also reduced the binding of mAb 3D6, a relevant monoclonal antibody, to type Ⅳ collagenase. Conclusion SCA can induce endothelial cell apoptosis and inhibit VEGF expression as well as type Ⅳ collagenase activity in cancer cells. SCA might be active in modulating tumor angiogenesis and the microenvironment.
