Objective:To analyze the effect of anchovy putrefaction gas poisoning on patients′ electrocardiogram (ECG) results.Methods:A total of 396 patients with acute anchovy putrefaction gas poisoning, admitted to Shidao People′s Hospital of Rongcheng from June 2010 to June 2019, were selected as study objects. According to the severity of their symptoms and vital signs, the patients were divided into the mild group (107 cases), the moderate group (198 cases), and the severe group (91 cases). All patients were examined by the 12-lead ECG with Japanese photoelectric 1250P electrocardiograph. The ECG results were analyzed and compared.Results:Among the 396 cases of anchovy putrefaction gas poisoning, 211 cases showed abnormal ECG results, with the abnormal ECG results rate of 53.3%. The abnormal ECG results rates of mild, moderate, and severe groups were 52.3% (56/107), 51.5% (102/198), and 58.2% (53/91) respectively, with no significant difference among the three groups ( P>0.05). The most common abnormal ECG manifestations were sinus bradycardia, bundle branch block, QT interval prolongation, ST segment depression, etc. The differences of those above-mentioned manifestations among the three groups were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The abnormal rate of ECG results is high in patients with anchovy putrefaction gas poisoning, and the abnormal changes of ECG results are related to the severity of poisoning.
