Aim To investigate the effects of SAHA on the expression of P-gp and the pharmacokinetic pa-rameters of its substrate phenytoin sodium in rats under hypoxic environments. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into the normioxic group, the hypoxic model group, and the low-,medium-and high-dose vorinostat(SAHA)groups.Liver tissues were col-lected,and the expression levels of P-gp and HDAC5 were detected by Real-time PCR and Western blot. The morphological changes of liver tissues were ob-served by HE staining.Following intragastric adminis-tration of 50 mg·kg-1 phenytoin sodium to each group, blood samples were collected, and the plasma concentration of phenytoin sodium was determined u-sing UFLC-MS/MS to calculate pharmacokinetic pa-rameters.Results Compared with the normoxic group, the expression of HDAC5 in the liver tissues of hypoxia model rats increased, while the expression of P-gp decreased. After SAHA treatment,HDAC5 expression decreased, and P-gp expression increased.Among the SAHA groups, the medium-dose group showed the most significant effect, and HE staining re-sults indicated that this concentration did not cause damage to rat liver tissues.Compared with the normox-ic group, the AUC,Cmax, and T1/2 of phenytoin sodium in hypoxia model rats were significantly raised. After administration of the medium dose of SAHA,the AUC,Cmax,MRT,and T1/2 were significantly reduced, while CLZ/r was significantly increased. Conclusions Un-der hypoxic environments, the expression of P-gp in rat liver tissue is significantly downregulated, leading to increased systemic exposure of phenytoin, reduced clearance, and consequently elevated blood concentra-tions,raising the risk of central nervous system toxici-ty.In contrast,SAHA suppresses HDAC5 expression, thereby activating P-gp transcription and enhancing its efflux function. This results in decreased systemic ex-posure and improved clearance of phenytoin,signifi-cantly reducing drug accumulation in body and ulti-mately lowering the risk of adverse effects.

Dental implantology has developed rapidly for over half a century, since pure titanium(99.7%)dental cylindrical threaded implants were exploited and osseointegration was introduced in 1960s by Prof.Br?nemark.The long term retention rates of 10 years or more are over 95%.However,the biological complications jeopardize the long term effects of dental implant treatment seriously. The prevalence of dental implant biological complications varies greatly among different reports resulting from the disparities on the defini-tions of dental implant biological complications. After analyzing and summarizing the major opinions proposed internationally in recent years, the consensus for the definition of dental implant biological complications has been reached.Generally the dental implant biologi-cal implications can be classified into early stage(before restoration)biological complications and late stage(after restoration)biological complications. The early stage biological complications include acute and chronic infections, pain, soft tissue deficiency, and osseointegration failure, etc. The late stage complications include peri-implant diseases(peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis),soft tissue deficiency around implant, implant loosening and dropping off, etc. The various risk factors related to different dental implant biological complications, the strategies of the prevention and treatment for the dental implant biological complications have been discussed comprehensively, and the consensus has been reached. It is aimed to advocate the dentist to pay more attention to the early prevention of the biological implant complications,to promote more researches on the implant biological complications, and to help elevate the level of dental implantology in our country.

Objective:To investigate the clinicopathological features and differential diagnosis of male genital system lympho-ma(MGSL).Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the clinicopathological and immunophenotypic features and prognosis of 80 ca-ses of MGSL.Results:The onset age of the MGSL patients ranged from 4 to 85(median 62)years old.All the cases showed non-specificity of the imaging features and clinical manifestations.MGSL was located mainly in the testis(n=66),followed by the pros-tate(n=7),epididymis(n=3),scrotum(n=3)and penile glans(n=1).Diffused large B cell lymphoma(DLBCL)was the most common pathological type(n=62),next came extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT)(n=7)and other rare types(n=12).During the 1-112-month follow-up of 10 of the 19 patients,1 died at 1 month af-ter diagnosed with prostatic B-lymphoblastic lymphoma(B-LBL)and another 1 died at 50 months after diagnosed with testicular DLBCL.Conclusion:MGSL is rare clinically, mainly of the DLBCL type pathologically, lacking specificity in clinical symptoms and imaging manifestation. The definite diagnosis of the malignancy depends on histopathology combined with related molecular exami-nation and immunohistochemical labeling, and R-CHOP chemotherapy is the first choice for its treatment.

As the first defense of respiratory system, airway epi-thelial cells(AECs)play an important role in separating the re-spiratory internal and external environment. They are essential for the natural immune function.Small airway lesions are an im-portant early pathology of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),when AECs are exposed to harmful particles or gases for a long time, the epithelial barrier is damaged, and the signa-ling pathways which involved in differentiation, repair, and in-flammatory are disordered, resulting in epithelial cell cycle stag-nation and accelerated aging.A number of studies have sugges-ted that AECs of COPD patients express high levels of aging markers, suggesting that senescence of AECs is closely related to COPD.This review discusses the potential mechanisms of AECs senescence in COPD,the impact of AECs senescence on the de-velopment and severity of the disease, and highlights potential targets for modulating cellular senescence in airway epithelium as a therapeutic approach in COPD.

Objective:To investigate the correlation between the types and quantities of immune cells in the graft and early immune reconstitution after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT)and their influence on clinical prognosis. Methods:The clinical data of 83 patients with hematological diseases who received allo-HSCT in Shanxi Bethune Hospital from September 2020 to June 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The number of mononuclear cells(MNC),CD34+cells and lymphocyte subsets(including CD3+T,CD3+CD4+T(Th),CD3+CD8+T(Ts),NK cells and B cells)infused into the recipients was counted, and the peripheral blood lymphocytes were detected before conditioning and on days 14,30,60 and 100 post-HSCT.Results:Multivariate analysis showed that the number of MNC in the graft affected the recovery of CD4+T lymphocytes after HSCT,and the number of CD4+T lymphocytes in the graft affected the recovery of NK cells and B cells after HSCT.The patient age, donor sex, stem cell source, degree of HLA matching, use of ATG before HSCT,the occurrence of acute graft-versus-host disease(aGVHD)after HSCT,and viral infection all affect the early cellular immune reconstitution post-HSCT.The number of infused cells had no significant impact on the median engraftment time for neutrophils and platelets after HSCT.Patients with lower numbers of CD3+T,CD4+T and B cells in the graft were more prone to viral infection after HSCT.However, the cells in the graft had no significant effect on disease recurrence or mortality. Conclusion:The recovery rate of lymphocyte count after allo-HSCT varies. The numbers of MNC and CD4+T cells in the graft may be related to the cellular immune reconstitution after HSCT,while the numbers of CD34+,CD3+T,CD8+T,NK and B cells have no significant effect on the cellular immune reconstruction. The numbers of CD3+T,CD4+T and B cells in the graft were negatively correlated with viral infection after HSCT,but the cellular components of the graft have no obvious influence on hematopoietic reconstitution, disease recurrence,death,recurrence-free survival(RFS)and overall survival(OS)after HSCT.
