Objective To review the attacking characteristics of the skin disease in military flying personnel and the influences to flight safety,and to expect the prevention measures,risk factors control and the skin disease reduction.Literature resource and selection Domestic and international literatures related in the field.Literature quotation Twenty-nine related literature were cited.Literature synthesis Flying personnel's skin diseases are mainly infectious and psychosomatic.Infectious skin diseases include the skin diseases caused by fungal,viral and infections,such as tinea manuum and pedis,which are related to climate and environment influence as well as flight training stress.The common psychosomatic skin diseases in military flying personnel are chronic urticarial,neurodermatitis and psoriasis which are related to the physical and autoimmune conditions.The clinical characteristics are lingering and easy to relapse.Urticaria and eczema result in patients' exquisite skin itching sensation which is easily threaten to flight safety.The prevention and treatment measures for military flying personnel include:①Strengthening the enlightenment on popular science and health education and emphasizing the good hygiene habits.The flight surgeons receive regular training for the common skin diseases to ensure the timely finding and curing of the diseases and to reduce the misdiagnoses and therapeutic errors.②The prevention and treatment of psychosomatic skin diseases should be paid more in future.Besides the drug therapy such relaxation trainings as biofeedback and abdominal breathing are suggested to promote the clinical recovery and prevent recurrence.③The measure for the fungal infections of the superficial skin are mainly on therapeutic manner and the prevention and protection are still need more researches to support.Conclusions The skin diseases in military flying personnel show the characteristics that are influenced by environment and psychological stress factors.The effective ways to reduce the skin diseases in flying personnel are to fulfill the popular science propaganda,strengthen the preventive measures,control contributors and improve the abilities of overcoming psychological stress.
