Objective:
To explore the temporal variation in physical health status among college students, analyze the correlation and dose response relationship between body mass index (BMI) and physical fitness indicators, so as to provide a scientific basis for physical health intervention among college students in universities.
Methods:
A total of 4 910 freshmen in the 2021 grade at Xi an Jiaotong University were selected. The BMI and changes in five physical fitness indicators (50 meter run, endurance run, standing long jump, sit and reach, and pull up or 1 minute sit up) were continuously assessed during follow up evaluations from 2021 to 2024. One way analysis of variance, generalized estimating equation (GEE), and other statistical methods were used to analyze the trends in temporal variation among the physical fitness indicators as well as the correlation characteristics and dose response relationship between BMI and physical fitness.
Results:
In 2021 the overweight and obesity rates among male freshmen were 20.36 % and 8.62%, respectively, and 12.91% and 2.91% among female freshman, respectively. From 2021 to 2024 the BMI of male and female students showed an upward trend with a significant increase( F =87.29,3.69,both P <0.05). The physical fitness indicators for both male and female students, including the 50 meter run, standing long jump, pull up and 1 minute sit up, first increased and then decreased, the endurance run performance decreased, and the sit and reach performance first decreased and then increased. The GEE model showed that BMI was negatively correlated with the performance of standing long jump, pullup/1 minute sit up, and sit and reach in both male and female students( β =-1.72,-0.34,-0.15;-0.94,-0.26,-0.12), and positively correlated with the time of 50 meter run and endurance run( β =0.05,3.16;0.03,1.86)(all P <0.05). The increase in BMI was associated with physical fitness decline in a non linear dose response relationship, while the sit and reach performance reached a peak at a BMI of approximately 22 kg/m 2, then decreased with the further increase in BMI.
Conclusions
A significant negative correlation is demonstrated between BMI and physical fitness indicators and male students are more sensitive to changes in BMI. College students should be guided to actively manage their weight and attach importance to physical exercise to improve their physical health.

AIM To observe the relationship between dose effect and time effect on hepatoxicity of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis extract in rats.MOTHODS Wistar rats were divided into four groups:low, middle and high (3,10,and 30 g/kg) dose of G.Jasminoides groups (administrated by gavage),and the normal control group were orally given deionized water. All rats were observed daily during the administration period. On the 7th,14th,28th day after the administration, blood samples were collected;serum alanine transaminase (ALT),aspartate transaminase (AST),alkaline phosphatase (ALP),glutamic dehydrogenase (GLDH) activity and total bile acid (TBA) and total bilirubin (TBIL) were determined. The livers were weighed and the liver index was calculated.HE staining and observation of histopathological changes in the structure of liver tissue under light microscopy were performed.RESULTS After the 7th day of administration, the rats in high dose group showed lower food consumption and slowly increased body weight.Serum ALT,AST,ALP,TBA,TBIL and GLDH in rats from high dose group were significantly higher than those in the normal control group. The liver index of rats in the middle and high dose groups was significantly increased than that in the normal control group. After the 14th day of administration, serum ALT,TBA and TBIL in rats from the high dose group were significantly higher than those in the normal group. The liver index of rats in the middle and high dose groups was significantly increased than that in the normal control group. After 28th day of administration, serum ALT and TBA in the rats from the high dose group,TBIL and GLDH in rats from the middle dose group, and GLDH in rats from the low dose group were significantly higher than those in the normal control group. The liver indexes of rats in all dose groups were significantly increased than those in the normal control group. After the 7th,14th or 28th day of the treatment, histopathological changes such as the liver cell hypertrophy, interlobular bile duct hyperplasia, and inflammatory cell infiltration appeared in the middle and high dose groups.CONCLUSION The high dose of G.jasminoides can induce and increase liver toxicity with the increase in dose, but at high dose level, liver toxicity does not increase with time.

Objective To study effect of time choosing of urine tube extubation after general anesthesia intracranial stents implantation. Methods A total of 82 patients with intracranial artery stenosis were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 41 cases in each group. The observation group pulled out urinary tube when the anesthesia Steward to score was 4 points, the control removed extubation after 24 h when lifting side limbs got out of braking.Headaches, high blood pressure, disturbance of consciousness, seizures, bleeding in the brain, such as clinical symptoms were compared,TCD monitoring results and urine output and urination method for the first time were recorded. Results Observation group had lower incidence of headache, disturbance of consciousness, seizures and other clinical symptoms than the control group, the proportion of patients with the blood pressure > 150 MMHG and TCD monitoring with ipsilateral middle cerebral artery blood flow velocity of 1.5 ~ 3 times increase was significantly higher than control group (P < 0.05);There was no significant difference in the first time urination volume, the success rate of urination and induced urination success rate, and urination success rate was higher, there was no patients with urethral catheterization. Conclusion For patients with line intracranial stent angioplasty general anesthesia, the preoperative nursing can guide bed urination, placing a urinary catheter can increase susceptibility of the adverse reactions caused by urinary catheter. And it can effectively avoid urinary retention and urinary irritation caused by high cerebral perfusion syndrome and other complications, greatly improve the patient's comfort, and no adverse effects of patients with urination is observed.
