Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of modified Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction in patients with liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome of Parkinson's disease (PD) and the effects on phosphatase and tensin homolog-induced putative kinase 1 (PINK1) /E3 ubiquitin ligase (Parkin) signaling pathway. Methods:A randomized controlled trial study was conducted. A total of 120 PD patients from the Department of Encephalopathy of Xi'an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2020 to May 2024 were selected as the observation objects and divided into 2 groups through random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group took dopashydrazine tablets orally, while the combined group took Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction on the basis of the control group. Two groups were treated continuously for 2 months. The levels of glial cell-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF), nerve growth factor (NGF), brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), and basic fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) were detected by ELISA. The expression levels of PINK1, Parkin and chelate 1 (SQSTM1) mRNA were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. The adverse reactions during the treatment were observed and recorded to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results:The total effective rate was 95.00% (57/60) in the combined group and 83.33% (50/60) in the control group, with statistical significance ( χ2=4.23, P=0.040). After treatment, the levels of serum GDNF [(510.78±31.57) ng/L vs. (431.89±30.45) ng/L, t=13.93], BDNF [(36.47±3.72) ng/L vs. (27.84±3.55) ng/L, t=13.00], NGF [(57.24±4.17) ng/L vs. (50.72±4.11) ng/L, t=8.63] and FGF2 [(26.21±3.71) ng/L vs. (21.63±3.54) ng/L, t=6.92] in the combined group were higher than those in the control group ( P<0.001). After treatment, the mRNA expression levels of PINK1 (2.38±0.07 vs. 2.19±0.05, t=17.11), Parkin (1.89±0.03 vs. 1.74±0.05, t=19.93), and SQSTM1 (1.82±0.07 vs. 1.61±0.05, t=18.91) in the combined group were higher than those in the control group ( P<0.001). During the treatment period, the incidence of adverse reactions was 6.67% (4/60) in the combined group and 10.00% (6/60) in the control group, without statistical significance ( χ2=0.44, P=0.509). Conclusion:Modified Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction can increase the levels of neurotrophic factors in patients with PD of liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome, regulate the PINK1/Parkin pathway, protect neurons, improve mitochondrial autophagy function, and enhance clinical efficacy.

Objective To construct a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)knowledge base using knowl-edge graph based on deep learning methods, and to explore the application of joint models in intelligent question answering systems for TCM. Methods Textbooks Prescriptions of Chinese Materia Medica and Chinese Materia Medicawere applied to construct a comprehensive knowledge graph serving as the founda-tion for the intelligent question answering system. In the study,a BERT+Slot-Gated(BSG)deep learning model was applied for the identification of TCM entities and question inten-tions presented by users in their questions.Answers retrieved from the knowledge graph based on the identified entities and intentions were then returned to the user. The Flask framework and BSG model were utilized to develop the intelligent question answering sys-tem of TCM. Results A TCM knowledge map encompassing 3 149 entities and 6 891 relational triples based on the prescriptions and Chinese materia medica was drawn. In the question answer-ing test assisted by a question corpus, the F1 value for recognizing entities when answering 20 types of TCM questions was 0.996 9,and the accuracy rate for identifying intentions was 99.75%.This indicates that the system is both feasible and practical.Users can interact with the system through the WeChat Official Account platform. Conclusion The BSG model proposed in this paper achieved good results in experiments by increasing the vector dimension, indicating the effectiveness of the joint model method and providing new research ideas for the implementation of intelligent question answering sys-tems in TCM.

Objective To understand the incidence and trend of malaria in Xuzhou City so as to provide the evidence for formulating the malaria control measures. Methods The information of network reported malaria cases and epidemiological da-ta were collected and analyzed statistically in Xuzhou City from 2010-2013. Results A total of 109 malaria cases were reported by the special report systems and the network report system in Xuzhou City from 2010 to 2013 in which there were 44 cases 40.37% of vivax malaria 62 cases 56.88% of falciparum malaria 2 cases 1.83% of quartan malaria 1 case 0.92% of ovale malaria. The latter three were all imported from other countries. Totally 93 cases 85.32% were confirmed by laboratory and other 16 cases 14.68% were diagnosed clinically. There was the incidence throughout the year and there were no obvious seasonal characteristics. The positive rate of blood test in the floating population was significantly higher than that of the local res-idents χ2 868.23 P<0.01 . Conclusion The malaria endemic situation is in the steady decline period in Xuzhou City. The local infections decrease significantly but the imported falciparum malaria cases increase year by year. Therefore the manage-ment for floating population and fever patients should be strengthened.

OBJECTIVETo measure and compare the content of d-borneol in the different parts of Cinnamomum camphora by GC-MS.
METHODWith water-steam distillation and GC-MS method, d-borneol was extracted and determined.
RESULTThe linear range of d-borneol was 0.4-2.8 microg (r = 0.999 9). The average recovery was 95.40%, and RSD was 0.56%.
CONCLUSIONThe method is simple and accurate with good separation. The content of d-borneol in the dried leaves 63.97% in the crude exfract. It can provide the proof of the exploitation of C. camphora.

OBJECTIVETo detect the expression and distribution of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in periodontal tissues, and analyze the role of EGF in orthodontic tooth movement.
METHODSAccording to Kings methods, 40 g mesial force was applied to pull the left maxillary first molar in the rat. Using immunohistochemical method (HI-SABC method) to localize and examine the expression of EGF and EGFR in decalcified alveodental connective tissues at 24 hours and 168 hours of tooth movement.
RESULTSEGF and EGFR were stained at some of periodontal ligament of furcation and radical regions in control group. These expressions of EGF and EGFR increased in periodontal tissues (P < 0.01), with the expressions at 168 hours higher than those at 24 hours (P < 0.01). And levels of EGF and EGFR at tension side were higher than those at pressure side at the same time (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONSEpidermal growth factor participated in the tissues remodeling during orthodontic tooth movement and especially played a more important role in orthodontic bone formation.
