In order to determine the causative agents responsible for the lethality of tumor disease in breeders,liver,spleen and other tissues of dead chickens were collected,and pathogen detection,se-quencing and genetic evolution analysis were carried out by PCR.The results showed that all three samples were negative for reticuloendotheliosis virus(REV),samples 1 and 2 wereavian leukosis virus subgroup J(ALV-J)positive,and sample 3 was positive for ALV-J and Marek's disease virus(MDV),which preliminarily determined that the breeder died of ALV-J infection or ALV-J and MDV mixed infection.Among them,the ALV-J gp85 gene had the highest nucleotide homology with the reference strain of ALV-J,ranging from 87.70％to 99.30％,and was in the same branch with the reference strain of subgroup J.Amino acid homology ranged from 78.00％to 96.20％,with some mutations.The nucleotide homology between the MDV meq gene and the vv+strain was the highest,which was 98.00％-99.00％,and they were in the same branch.The homology of amino acids was 95.90％-98.20％,and there were multiple mutation sites,among which the 176th amino acid destroyed the original Pro repeat of the virus MDV meq due to the mutation of Pro to Arg or Ala,which may lead to the enhancement of its virulence.This study will provide a reference for the prevention and control of neoplastic diseases in breeders in this region.

Objective To evaluate smooth muscle protein of 22 kDa (SM22) in the diagnosis of acute intestinal ischemia.Methods 96 healthy adult SD rats were evenly divided into experimental group and control group,with each group subdivided into 6 subgroups,subject respectively to superior mesenteric artery ligation or sham operation.The venous blood samples were extracted from each group rats' right heart atO.5,1,2,4,8,12 h after the operation,for SM22 testing and small intestines tissues for direct immunofluorescence staining of SM22.Results The serum SM22 concentration reached a peak at 4 h (265 ± 15) mg/L,then gradually decreased (P ＜ 0.05).The I-FABP was mainly expressed in the epithelium of intestinal mucosa.During the 4 hours of intestinal ischemia,The number of SM22 positive particles did not change.After 4 hours,the number of SM22 positive granules had gradually decreased compared with the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion SM22 mainly exists in the smooth muscle of intestinal,during the ischemic necrosis of the intestinal muscle layer SM22 leaks into blood stream,resulting in high serum levels of SM22 facilitating early diagnosis of acute intestinal ischemia.

Objective To evaluate the application value of real-time three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (RT-3DTEE) for the risk assessment of unusual atrial septal defect (ASD) in clinic therapy.Methods Accurate assessment before operation was conducted in 57 cases of patients with unusual ASD by two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography (2DTTE),two-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (2DTEE) and RT-3DTEE.The ultrasound manifestations were observed.And the guidance in clinic therapy were compared.Results The shape and number can be displayed clearly by 2D-TTE and 2D-TEE in 46 of 57 eases.Another 11 cases were diagnosed as irregular or two holes possibly.RT-3DTEE can help to observe the morphology and quantity of ASD visually and comprehensively in all cases.There was no statistical difference among 2DTTE,2DTEE and RT-3DTEE for the measurement of right atrium end-systolic transverse diameter (RATD),left atrium end-systolic transverse diameter (LATD),right ventricular end-diastolic diameter (RVDD) and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVDD;all P＞0.05).The statistic difference for the diameter of atrial septal defect (ASDD) was found between 2D-TEE and 2D-TTE (P＜0.05) and RT-3DTEE and 2D-TTE (P＜0.05).There was no statistical difference among 2D-TEE,2DTTE and RT-3DTEE for the measurement of residual boundary condition of superior vena cava,aorta side and the top side of the atrium (all P＞0.05),whereas significant difference was found in measuring the residual boundary condition of inferior vena cava (F=50.39,P＜0.001).There were statistic differences between 2DTEE and 2DTTE,RT-3DTEE and 2DTTE,RT-3DTEE and 2DTEE (all P＜0.05).The clinic therapy can be directed by RT-3DTEE in all 57 cases.The diagnosis of 5 cases was failed by 2D-TTE,and 2 cases was failed by 2D-TEE.Conclusion Abundant image information can be offered by RT-3DTEE which plays an important role in the risk assessment of unusual atrial septal defect.

Objective To explore the diagnosis and of immune neutopenia.Methods Clinical data of 150 patients with immune neutropenia were collected and analyzed.Results Of 150 patients with immune neutropenia,35 cases went male(23.3％),115 cases were female(76.7％),and male to female ratio was 1 ∶ 3.3.Based on the difference produced way of granulocytes associated antibody,all patients could be divided into alloimmune neonatal neutropenia 9 cases (6.0％),drug-induced immune neutropenia 28 cases (18.7 ％),primary autoimmune neutropenia 22 cases(14.6％),and secondary autoimmune neutropenia 91 cases (60.7％).Secondary autoimmune neutropenia included 39 cases of systemic lupus erythematous,21 cases of rheumatoid arthritis,2 cases of immune hemolytic anemia accompany with neutropenia,6 cases of immune thrombocytopenia accompany with neutropenia,3 cases of autoimmune hepatitis,16 cases of autoimmune thyroiditis,and 4 cases of Sjogren's syndrome.Conclusion The majority of primary immune neutropenia are female,which is usually secondary to autoimmune diseases.The diagnosis of primary immune neutropenia is very complicated,which requires a long period of clinical observation and follow-up.The majority of granulocytes associated antibody is IgG in the autoimmune neutropenia patients.Yet sometimes two or three kinds of antibodies were increased as well.

Journal of Chinese Integrative Medicine established in May, 2003 is indexed in Index Medicus in 2004. This article outlines the critical elements of journal selection for Index Medicus/MEDLINE and the journal selection process for indexing at NLM, and introduces some measures for the Journal of Chinese Integrative Medicine being indexed in Index Medicus/MEDLINE.
