Objective:To compare the effectiveness of video laryngoscopy and traditional direct laryngoscopy in neonatal endotracheal intubation teaching.Methods:A total of 52 undergraduate clinical interns in the Department of Neonatology at the First Clinical School of Medicine of Zhengzhou University in June 2024 were selected.The participants were randomly divided into a video laryngoscopy group and a traditional direct laryngoscopy group.After the training，skill assessments were conducted.And a questionnaire was used to evaluate whether there were differences in terms of teaching arrangement, teaching methods, classroom interaction, and teachers' attitudes.Results:The skill assessment score of the video laryngoscope group was (72.85 ± 3.36) points, significantly higher than that of the direct laryngoscope group[(65.81 ± 2.80) points], with a statistically significant difference ( P<0.05). The glottis recognition rate in the video laryngoscope group (88.46%) was higher than that in the direct laryngoscope group (61.54%) ( P<0.05).The intubation success rate in the video laryngoscope group (69.23%) was also higher than that in the direct laryngoscope group (38.7%) ( P<0.05). The results of the teaching satisfaction survey questionnaire showed that the satisfaction ratio for teaching methods in the video laryngoscope group was higher than that in the direct laryngoscope group ( P<0.05), while there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of teaching arrangements, classroom interaction, assessment and evaluation methods, and teacher attitudes ( P>0.05). Conclusion:Using video laryngoscopy for teaching helps interns better master neonatal tracheal intubation skills and is worth promoting.

Objective:To explore the value of the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio（NLR）in early prediction of retinopathy of prematurity（ROP）.Methods:The medical records of 325 preterm infants with a gestational age <32 weeks who were admitted to the Neonatology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 1,2019 to December 31,2019 were retrospectively reviewed.The complete blood cell results at 7-10 days of age were collected，including white blood cell，neutrophil，lymphocyte，monocyte，and platelet counts.The NLR，lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio（LMR），and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio（PLR）were calculated.Logistic regression analysis was used to assess the risk factors associated with ROP.The receiver operating characteristic curve was performed to evaluate the value of NLR in the early prediction of ROP.Results:A total of 325 infants were involved,including 110（33.8%）with ROP and 215（61.2%）without ROP.The gestational age，birth weight，platelet count，lymphocyte count，and LMR were significantly lower in the ROP group（ P<0.05），whereas the neutrophil count and NLR were found to be significantly higher（ P<0.05）.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis revealed that small gestational age，low birth weight,and high NLR were major risk factors for the development of ROP.The sensitivity and specificity of NLR in early predicting ROP were 90.1% and 74.4%，respectively. Conclusion:The NLR at the first week after birth can serve as a simple method for early prediction of the development of ROP.

Although primary vesical calculi is an ancient disease, the mechanism of calculi formation remains unclear. In this study, we established a novel primary vesical calculi model with d,l-choline tartrate in mice. Compared with commonly used melamine and ethylene glycol models, our model was the only approach that induced vesical calculi without causing kidney injury. Previous studies suggest that proteins in the daily diet are the main contributors to the prevention of vesical calculi, yet the effect of fat is overlooked. To assay the relationship of dietary fat with the formation of primary vesical calculi, d,l-choline tartrate-treated mice were fed a high-fat, low-fat, or normal-fat diet. Genetic changes in the mouse bladder were detected with transcriptome analysis. A high-fat diet remarkably reduced the morbidity of primary vesical calculi. Higher fatty acid levels in serum and urine were observed in the high-fat diet group, and more intact epithelia in bladder were observed in the same group compared with the normal- and low-fat diet groups, suggesting the protective effect of fatty acids on bladder epithelia to maintain its normal histological structure. Transcriptome analysis revealed that the macrophage differentiation-related gene C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 14 (Cxcl14) was upregulated in the bladders of high-fat diet-fed mice compared with those of normal- or low-fat diet-fed mice, which was consistent with histological observations. The expression of CXCL14 significantly increased in the bladder in the high-fat diet group. CXCL14 enhanced the recruitment of macrophages to the crystal nucleus and induced the transformation of M2 macrophages, which led to phagocytosis of budding crystals and prevented accumulation of calculi. In human bladder epithelia (HCV-29) cells, high fatty acid supplementation significantly increased the expression of CXCL14. Dietary fat is essential for the maintenance of physiological functions of the bladder and for the prevention of primary vesical calculi, which provides new ideas for the reduction of morbidity of primary vesical calculi.

Objective:To analyze the current situation of the course of Pharmaceutical Analysis in the education and training of undergraduate students, explore the teaching reform and innovation to better accommodate the pharmacy education in the new era and build an advanced mode for training pharmaceutical talents with interdisciplinary expertise that meet the requirements and needs of job market. Methods:The first stage was to investigate the suggestions and needs of teaching reform; the second stage was to carry out the exploration and practice of the course reform; the third stage was to evaluate the teaching effect.Results:The demand survey showed that the teaching content, course design, and teaching methods of the Pharmaceutical Analysis need to be further optimized and expanded. Conclusion:By adjusting the teaching content, expanding teaching methods, innovating diversified teaching practices, and integrating the "curriculum ideology and politics" into the construction, the course reform has stimulated students' interest in learning and innovative spirit, strengthened their theoretical literacy and practical ability, and cultivated their international vision and lofty professional ethics.

【Objective】 To explore and evaluate the application of blood intelligent management platform (scheme) based on the Internet of Things(IoT)in the clinical blood management for hospitals. 【Methods】 Based on radio frequency identification technology (RFID), smart blood refrigerators, IoT blood shipping containers, automated blood bank systems, smart blood management software, etc. were developed and integrated as an IoT blood intelligent management platform (scheme). The blood storage, management software and hardware systems were organically combined, and the blood storage equipment was moved forward to the clinical departments to solve the concerns of clinicians. 【Results】 The in-depth integration of IoT technology, RFID and refrigeration technology has built an RFID-based IoT blood management solution, which integrates blood storage, transfusion, and quality control management, also realizes the entire process of supervision and traceability of clinical blood transfusion. The forward movement of blood bank to the clinical departments and the implementation of electronic cross-matching streamlined and optimized the clinical blood flow. The waiting time of patient′s for blood transfusion was shortened from (40±10) min to less than 2 min. The whole process of cold chain logistics ensured the storage quality of blood products issued, so that the clinical departments can return the untransfused blood and Blood Transfusion Department can reissue it to other hospitals. 【Conclusion】 IoT blood intelligent management based on RFID realizes the intelligent management of clinical blood transfusion and blood information traceability. The forward movement of blood bank to the clinical departments improves the efficiency of clinical blood transfusion, avoids the waste of blood source, and ensures the safety of blood transfusion. It is worth promoting in the whole process of blood transfusion.

Objective To summarize the relationship between metabolic syndrome (MS),its components and T1 stage with high grade urothelial carcinoma (HGUC) of the Bladder.Methods The clinical data of 200 patients with T1 high grade bladder cancer who were admitted to our hospital from January 2010 to June 2014 were retrospectively analyzed,including 155 males and 45 females.Ages were 24 to 86 years old,average 66 years old.Based on the history or blood glucose levels,patients were divided into diabetic group (n =41) (20.5％) and non diabetes group 159 cases (79.5％);According to the body mass index (BMI) were divided into obese group (≥25 kg / m2) of 98 cases (49.0％) and non obese group (＜ 25 kg / m2) of 102 cases (51.0％).According to the blood pressure level,71 cases (35.5％) were divided into hypertension group and 129 cases of non hypertension group (64.5％).MS and its components and the relationship between the recurrence and progress of bladder cancer were analyzed.The Kaplan Meier method was used to assess MS and its components division of tumor progression free survival (progress-free survival,PFS) and recurrence free survival (recurrence-free survival,RFS) influence.Cox regression model of multi factor analysis were used to evaluate the PFS and RFs of MS and its components with bladder cancer.Results Of the 200 cases,16 cases (8.0％) were MS.Tumor recurrence occurred in 121 cases (60.5％),and 84 patients (42.0％) were in progress.Diabetes and non diabetes groups the average RFs were 21.7 and 29.3 months respectively,and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =10.115,P =0.001);The median PFS were 32.8 and 39.8 months respectively,the difference has statistical significance (x2 =14.760,P ＜0.001).Obese group and non obese group average RFs were 34.7 and 42.0 months respectively,and the difference were statistically significant (x2 =16.077,P ＜ 0.001);The median PFS were 22.8 and 32.6 months respectively,the difference was statistically significant (x2 =16.174,P＜0.001).The average RFS of MS group and non MS group were 21.5 and 28.4 months respectively,the difference was statistically significant (x2 =5.429,P =0.02);the average PFS was 35.1 and 38.7 months respectively,and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =3.854,P ＜ 0.05).Cox multivariate survival analysis showed that diabetes and obesity can increase the risk of recurrence and progression of T1 advanced stage bladder cancer (HR =1.792,P =0.013,HR =2.498,P ＜ 0.001;HR =0.559,P ＜ 0.001;HR =0.492,P ＜ 0.001).Conclusions Diabetes mellitus and obesity are high risk factors for the recurrence and progression of T1 advanced stage bladder cancer,but MS is not related to the prognosis of T1 patients with advanced bladder cancer.

Objective To analyze the diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of small cell carcinoma of bladder (SCCB) in order to improve the understanding of it.Methods The pathological and clinical data of 5 cases of SCCB were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were male,aged 50 to 78 years (mean age,64 years).Clinical manifestations of 4 cases were gross hematuria,the other case was found by health examination.Ultrasonography results of 3 cases were medium echo tumors,the other 2 cases were hypoecho tumors.The diameter of the tumor was 2.1 to 4.0 cm (mean,3.0 cm).There were 3 patients accepted CT scan.One of them was found of hydronephrosis and multiple pelvic lymph nodes.All patients accepted diagnostic TURBT.Three of them accepted postoperative chemotherapy (1 cycle) without other surgery.Two patients accepted radical cystectomy with postoperative chemotherapy (3 cycles) after bladder tumor biopsy.Results Pathological findings showed that tumor cells were small,round and sheet in arrangement.These hyperchromatic nuclei showed limited cytoplasm with lack of nesting character.Neuron specific enolase,chromogranin A and synaptophysin were positive in immunohistochemistry.The final diagnosis was SCCB'.Two of the three patients who accepted TURBT with postoperative chemotherapy died 7 and 8 months postoperatively,the other one was alive for 32 months.Another two patients who accepted radical cystectomy with postoperative chemotherapy were alive for 16 and 26 months.Conclusions SCCB is a rare tumor which has high malignancy and poor prognosis.Radical cystectomy in combination with postoperative chemotherapy is the main treatment.Retained bladder surgery with chemotherapy is an alternative choice.

Objective To study the preparation and stability of paclitaxel self-microemulsifying drug delivery system ( PTX-SMEDDS) . Methods The formulation of the PTX-SMEDDS was optimized by monitoring the appearance, particle size, concentration, relative substance, and bacterial endotoxin. Influence of different pH and different dosage of activated carbon on PTX-SMEDDS was investigated. Subsequently it was subjected to stability studies. Results The PTX-SMEDDS was a translucent diluted-yellow solution with a mean diameter of 19. 6 nm. High speed centrifugal test indicated PTX-SMEDDS was stable. The result of the influential factor tests showed PTX-SMEDDS was unstable to high temperature and light. In the accelerated tests for 6 months, the quality of PTX-SMEDDS was stable. The samples should be sealed and stored at low temperature and shady place. Conclusion Easily prepared and stable formulation of PTX-SMEDDS is achieved, and further investigation is warranted to develop self-microemulsifying drug delivery system for injection.
