Medical Journal of Peking Union Medical College Hospital 2026;17(2):566-573
To evaluate the effectiveness of medical quality improvement in the cosmetic injection industry in Chengdu. Based on A total of 378 medical aesthetic institutions were surveyed, including 58 plastic surgery hospitals, 111 medical aesthetic outpatient departments, and 209 medical aesthetic clinics. Among them, 43 institutions were surveyed in 2022, 287 in 2023, and 48 in 2024. From 2022 to 2024, overall compliance regarding institutional and personnel qualifications was good, with low detection rates for related issues. Compared with 2022, the quality of cosmetic injection medical services significantly improved in 2023 and 2024. The detection rates of non-compliance or substandard practices significantly decreased in areas including quality and safety management of injectable fillers for aesthetic purposes, quality and safety management of injectable botulinum toxin type A, medical quality management of injection procedures, injection medical record management, and emergency management. The improvement in many indicators was more pronounced in 2024( Under the multi-departmental "comprehensive investigation-supervision-training" model adopted by the Chengdu Plastic and Aesthetic Medicine Quality Control Center, the medical quality of cosmetic injection procedures in the city showed continuous improvement from 2022 to 2024, with a significant downward trend in the detection rates of relevant non-compliant issues. The reported incidence of injection-related complications during the same period was lower than the national target. This model provides a reference for implementing effective quality control in the plastic and aesthetic medicine specialty.

Objective:To explore the effect of prognosis appearance of the combination of microneedle array radiofrequency and CO2 array laser on psychological stress response of patients with facial acne scar. Methods:A total of 100 patients with facial acne scar, who admitted to Chengdu Second People's Hospital from August 2020 to August 2020,were selected, and they were divided into study group and control group, with 50 cases in each group.Study group adopted combined treatment with microneedle array radiofrequency and CO2 array laser, and control group adopted microneedle array radiofrequency to conduct treatment. The curative effect after treatment was compared between two groups. The Vancouver scar scale(VSS)was adopted to score the scar condition of patients, and Hamilton anxiety(HAMA)rating scale,Hamilton depression(HAMD)of rating scale and self-esteem scale(SES)were adopted to evaluate the psychological stress response of patients, and the score of the comprehensive evaluation questionnaire of quality of life(GQOLI-74 score)was adopted to evaluate the difference of quality of life of patients between before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, the overall curative effect of study group was 92.00%,which was better than 72.00%of control group, and the difference was significant(x2=6.775,P<0.05).The VSS scores of study group after received treatment of 2,4 times were significantly lower than those before treatment, and were lower than those of control group, and the differences of those between two groups were significant(t=5.850,9.040,P<0.05),respectively.After treatment, the SES scores of two groups all rose, and the HAMD and HAMA scores of two groups all reduced, and the three scores of study group were all better than those of control group, and the differences of them between two groups were significant(t=3.456,3.909,6.063,P<0.05).Pearson correlation showed that the VSS score was negatively correlated with the SES score(r=-0.249,P<0.05),and was positively correlated with the HAMD score and the HAMA score(r=0.653,0.695,P<0.05),respectively.After treatment, the GQOLI-74 scores of each indicator(material and life, physical function, psychological function, and social function)of two groups rose all,and the GQOLI-74 scores of study group were all better than those of control group, and the differences of them between two groups were significant(t=4.324,7.497,3.870,4.534,P<0.05),respectively.Conclusion:The combination of microneedle array radiofrequency and CO2 array laser has better curative effect in treating facial acne scar, which can effectively promote prognosis appearance, and relieve psychological stress response, and improve the quality of life.

Objective To analyze the changes in number and biological ability of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) from peripheral blood of SLE patients. Methods Mononuclear cells (MNCs) were isolated by Ficoll density gradient centrifugation from peripheral blood of 20 female SLE patients and 20 healthy female controls. EPCs were identified by double staining using antibodies to CD34 and CD133, or antibodies to CD133 and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2). Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugated antiCD34, fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) conjugated anti-CD133 and APC conjugated anti-VEGFR2 antibodies were used in a three color flow cytometric analysis to determine the percentage of EPCs in peripheral MNCs.The proliferation and migration ability of EPCs were measured by MTT assay and modified millicell chamber assay, respectively. The adhesion activity of EPCs was evaluated by counting the number of adherent cells. Results The percentage and proliferation rate of EPCs in peripheral MNCs from female SLE patients were significantly lower than those from the healthy controls(4.49% ± 1.66% vs 20.81% ± 4.14%, 23.11% ± 3.16%vs 35.65% ± 1.74%, both P < 0.01 ). The migration and adhesion ability of EPCs from SLE patients was impaired compared with those from the healthy controls (12.00 ± 2.12 vs 23.60 ± 3.0 cells/field, 22.43 ± 4.43vs 36.43 ± 3.69 cells/filed, both P < 0.01 ). Conclusion There is a decrease in the number and an impairment in biological ability of EPCs in SLE patients.

Objectives To observe the frequencies of mutations at glycophorin A(GPA)of erythro-cytes in patients with high arsenic coal poisoning(HACP)in comparison with normal controls. Methods The peripheral erythrocytes were isolated and immunolabelled, and were detected by flow cytometry in40patients and18normal adults. Results The mutation frequencies(MF)were(21.23?13.97)?10 -6 for type NN,(33.13?25.72)?10 -6 for type NO,(110.90?63.58)?10 -6 for type MM,and(20.35?21.26)?10 -6 for type MO of erythrocytes in patients with HACP,which were significantly higher than those in normal controls. The mutation frequencies were(31.50?16.13)?10 -6 for type NN,(54.50?38.13)?10 -6 for type NO,(159.33?66.22)?10 -6 for type MM,and(45.16?12.69)?10 -6 for type MO of erythrocytes in tumor group of HACP patients, which were significantly higher than those of non-tumor group of the patients. Conclusions Arsenic poisoning may induce the mutation at the glycophorin-A locus of erythrocytes,sug-gesting that arsenic may be one of potential mutagens.GPA-MF may serve as a parameter for the detection of patients with HACP.
