ObjectiveTo explore the clinical efficacy of Juanbitang hot compress pack combined with intensive rehabilitation training in stroke patients with hemiplegia. MethodsA total of 80 stroke patients with hemiplegia were selected and assigned into a control group (40 cases) and an observation group (40 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group received conventional rehabilitation training and nursing intervention, while the observation group was additionally treated with Juanbitang hot compress pack. The two groups were compared in terms of the neurological function (national institute of health stroke scale score,NIHSS score),muscle strength, motor function (fugl-meyer assessment scale score,FMA score),daily living activity (modified barthel index,MBI),balance ability (berg balance scale score,BBS score),trunk control ability (Sheikh Trunk Control Test score,Sheikh TCT score),and homocysteine (Hcy) level before and after treatment. ResultsAfter treatment, the observation group had lower NIHSS score and Hcy level than the control group (P<0.05). The total response rate of the observation group (97.50%) was higher than that of the control group (77.50%). The scores of upper limb and lower limb FMA,MBI,BBS,and Sheikh TCT in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). ConclusionThe application of Juanbitang hot compress pack combined with rehabilitation training can effectively improve the neurological function, muscle strength, motor function, daily living ability, balance ability, and trunk control ability and reduce the Hcy level in stroke patients with hemiplegia, demonstrating enhanced clinical efficacy.

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a non-invasive neurophysiological monitoring technique. It records the electrical activity of the cerebral cortex using electrodes placed on the scalp surface. Owing to its high safety, portability, and millisecond-level temporal resolution, EEG has been widely utilized in a variety of fields, including clinical diagnosis, brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), and cognitive neuroscience research. However, due to its microvolt-level amplitude, EEG is highly susceptible to various artifacts, including electrooculographic (EOG), electrocardiographic (ECG), electromyographic (EMG), and power line interference (PLI). These artifacts can obscure genuine neural activity and introduce spurious electrophysiological features. Consequently, they may compromise EEG signal quality, thereby reducing the reliability of downstream analyses. To address this issue, numerous EEG artifact removal methods have been developed, including both traditional denoising techniques and deep learning-based approaches. Traditional EEG denoising methods have long served as the primary solutions for artifact removal. Representative approaches include filtering, regression, and blind source separation. Although these methods have demonstrated effectiveness in specific scenarios, they suffer from several inherent limitations. Filtering assumes that artifacts and EEG signals can be separated in the frequency domain, but many artifacts, such as EOG and EMG, overlap with EEG spectra, which may lead to the loss of valuable neural information. Regression methods require high-quality artifact references to estimate and subtract contaminations, limiting their effectiveness in reference-free scenarios. Blind source separation can remove artifacts without external references, but it typically requires the number of EEG channels to exceed the number of sources, restricting its application in single- or low-channel EEG recordings. Deep learning-based EEG denoising methods address these limitations effectively. First, they learn the nonlinear mapping between contaminated and clean EEG directly from data in an end-to-end manner. This approach does not rely on assumptions about spectral separability, thereby preserving neural activity more completely. Second, the reference information is incorporated during the training phase, allowing the trained model to perform artifact removal independently without external references. Third, deep learning models can be flexibly designed to accommodate various recording setups, achieving robust denoising for both high-density and single-channel EEG. Collectively, these advantages enable deep learning-based methods to overcome the main challenges of traditional approaches, providing more accurate and reliable EEG signal recovery. The superior denoising performance of deep learning-based EEG denoising methods has attracted increasing attention in EEG artifact removal research. As a result, many deep learning-based denoising methods have been developed and successfully applied in neural engineering areas. However, a systematic review of the techniques and applications in this field is still lacking. To address this gap, this paper reviews recent advances in deep learning-based EEG denoising from four perspectives: technical principle, benchmark dataset, denoising model, and evaluation method. Representative applications in neural signal analysis and BCI decoding are also summarized. Furthermore, the advantage, existing challenge, and future research direction of deep learning-based EEG denoising are discussed. This review aims to provide valuable theoretical insights and technical guidance for researchers. It is also expected to promote further advances and broader applications of deep learning-based EEG denoising techniques.

Objective:Based on the best evidence, formulate the review indicators to promote the initiation and establishment of maternal lactation and carry out clinical review, analyze the barriers and promoting factors of the clinical application of evidence, and formulate countermeasures.Methods:Evidence-based nursing research was used to identify clinical problems, build evidence-based group, systematically search, evaluate and synthesize evidence. On September 1,2023 to December 31 in Affiliated Hospital of Jiangsu University document and delivery of maternal investigation, in Ottawa research application mode as a guide, based on the evidence to review indicators and review method, clear clinical status and evidence gap, combined with the stakeholders interview, using content analysis to analyze barriers and promoting factors, to formulate action countermeasures. Results:In this study, 140 pregnant women were finally included for clinical review, aged from 22 to 42 (30.13 ± 3.69) years. A total of 23 pieces of best evidence were incorporated, leading to the establishment of 29 review indicators. Among these, 20 review indicators showed compliance rates below 60%. The main obstacles based on the results of review and interviews with stakeholders: the evidence content covered perinatal stages but lacked specificity and practical applicability; nurses had insufficient knowledge and faced increased workloads; pregnant/postpartum women lacked essential knowledge and skills, with delayed resolution of lactation issues; the practice environment lacked evidence-based implementation protocols, specialized assessment tools, and professional lactation consultant teams, etc. Promoting factors: the project team had rich experience in evidence transformation; the reform aligned with national policies, high engagement from departmental leaders, and standardized management systems for evidence-based projects in the nursing department; strong motivation among pregnant/postpartum women; the hospital was an infant-friendly hospital with talents needed for evidence transformation. Conclusions:There is a big gap between the clinical status and the evidence of promoting the initiation and establishment of lactation, so nursing staff should make full use of the promoting factors and formulate countermeasures according to the obstacle factors, so as to provide reference for promoting the initiation of lactation and the establishment of relevant evidence to clinical transformation.
