BACKGROUND:Thermoresponsive hydrogels are widely used in bone tissue engineering due to their structural similarity to extracellular matrix and their intelligent temperature sensitivity.OBJECTIVE:To explain the mechanism of temperature-responsive hydrogels producing sol-gel phase transitions, classify them based on their sources, and summarize the applications of various temperature-responsive hydrogels in bone tissue engineering.METHODS:The first author searched for relevant literature on CNKI and PubMed databases from 2000 to 2024,using search terms"hydrogel, thermosensitive hydrogel, bone repair, bone regeneration, bone tissue engineering"in Chinese and English.A total of 70 eligible articles were finally selected for review.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The temperature-sensitive mechanism of thermosensitive hydrogels can be divided into negative sensitive and positive sensitive according to different reactions. Its composition is mainly divided into natural polymer and synthetic polymer.Current research has found that in addition to the traditional way of using temperature-sensitive hydrogels as scaffold materials for bone tissue engineering,3D printed scaffolds are also gradually emerging. In addition, thermosensitive hydrogels can also be used in 3D cell culture and drug slow release due to their own characteristics. At present, the development of thermosensitive hydrogels is not perfect enough. There are still problems such as the inability to accurately control the phase transition temperature, sustained release rate, low mechanical strength, and low biodegradability. Therefore, developing thermosensitive hydrogels with more stable properties is still a problem that we should solve at present.

Coagulometer, known as blood coagulation analyzer, is a product that can provide accurate test results for medical diagnosis and treatment analysis by detecting a series of items closely related to thrombosis and hemostasis in coagulation reaction. On the basis of previous traditional methods, and with our deep understanding about the principles of hemagglutination detection, we propose a hemagglutination detection method by using the dual-magnetic circuit beads method. Then, the corresponding hemagglutination detection module is designed. The coagulation time of plasma can be measured by detecting the movement of the magnetic beads when the magnetic field intensity is appropriate. The activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) of plasma is tested when the most suitable magnetic field intensity is found. The results preliminarily show that this blood coagulation test method is valid and the corresponding test module has a potential value in business.

Background: Livin, survivin and Pak-1 are all related to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer. Livin and survivin play their roles by inhibiting the activity of caspase-7. Aims: To investigate the expressions and significance of livin, survivin, Pak-1 and caspase-7 in different gastric mucosal lesions. Methods: A total of 45 cases of gastric cancer and paracancerous tissue, 45 chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia, 45 chronic non-atrophic gastritis from Jan. 2015 to Dec. 2019 at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College were collected. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expressions of livin, survivin, Pak-1 and caspase-7, and their correlations with clinicopathological features of gastric cancer patients were analyzed. Results: Compared with chronic non-atrophic gastritis group and paracancerous group, the positivity expression rates of livin, survivin and Pak-1 in intestinal metaplasia group were significantly increased (P<0.05), while caspase-7 was significantly decreased (P<0.05). Compared with intestinal metaplasia group, the positivity expression rates of livin, survivin and Pak-1 in gastric cancer group were significantly increased (P<0.05), while caspase-7 was significantly decreased (P<0.05). Expressions of livin, survivin, Pak-1 and caspase-7 were correlated with the differentiation degree, TNM stage, depth of infiltration and lymph node metastasis in patients with gastric cancer (P<0.05). Conclusions: Livin, survivin, Pak-1 and caspase-7 play important roles in the occurrence and development of gastric cancer.
