Objective To identify key proteins associated with sudden cardiac death(SCD)caused by lethal arrhythmia and to explore their potential molecular mechanisms through integrated proteomic analysis, data mining, and bioinformatics. Methods A lethal arrhythmia model was established in 8-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats, which were divided into an arrhythmia group and a control group.Proteomic techniques were applied to identify and quantify proteins in left ventricular myocardial tissue, and differentially expressed proteins related to arrhythmia were screened.Key proteins were further identified through comparison with target proteins in databases combined with joint analyses.Bioinformatics methods were then used to investigate potential molecular mechanisms. Results A total of 356 differentially expressed proteins were identified, including 189 upregulated and 167 downregulated.Association analysis with target gene proteins identified 71 key proteins, and a protein-protein interaction network was constructed.GO enrichment and KEGG pathway analyses indicated that these key proteins were primarily involved in ion channel dysfunction, enhanced oxidative stress, and autonomic nervous system imbalance. Conclusion This study, through the integration of proteomics, data mining, and bioinformatics, revealed critical molecular mechanisms underlying SCD associated with lethal arrhythmia. These findings provide new perspectives and potential biomarkers for forensic identification and research on the mechanisms of death.

Background:
and Purpose Limited evidence exists on the effectiveness of endovascular treatment (EVT) for acute posterior circulation tandem lesion (PCTL). This study aimed to explore the role of extracranial vertebral artery (VA) stenting in patients with PCTL stroke undergoing EVT.
Methods:
Individual patient data were pooled from the BASILAR (EVT for Acute Basilar Artery Occlusion Study) and PERSIST (Posterior Circulation Ischemic Stroke) registries. Patients with PCTLs who underwent EVT were included in the present cohort and divided into the stenting and nonstenting groups based on the placement of extracranial VA stents. The primary efficacy outcome was the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) scores at 90 days and 1 year. Safety outcomes included 24-hour symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) and all-cause mortality at 90 days and 1 year post-surgery.
Results:
A combined dataset of 1,320 patients with posterior circulation artery occlusion, including 263 (19.9%) with tandem lesions, of whom 217 (median age, 65 years; 82.9% male) met the inclusion criteria for the analysis. The stenting group had 84 (38.7%) patients, while the non-stenting group had 133 (61.3%). After adjustment for the potential confounders, extracranial VA stenting was associated with favorable shifts in mRS scores at both 90 days (adjusted common odds ratio [OR], 2.30; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.23–4.28; P<0.01) and 1 year (adjusted OR [aOR], 2.04; 95% CI [1.05–3.97]; P=0.04), along with lower rate of mortality at both 90 days (aOR, 0.45; 95% CI [0.21–0.93]; P=0.01) and 1 year (aOR, 0.36; 95% CI [0.16–0.79]; P=0.01), with no significant difference in sICH incidence (aOR, 0.35; 95% CI [0.06–1.98]; P=0.24).
Conclusion
Extracranial VA stenting during EVT may improve functional outcomes and reduce mortality in patients with PCTL strokes.

Objective To investigate the effec of oscillating field stimulation on the proliferation of endogenous neural stem cell(ENSC)and recovery of motor function after spinal cord injury(SCI)in rats. Methods The SCI model was established by using the improved Allen's strike method and was randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 60 rats in each group. The experimental group received an oscillating field implant as the intervention, while the control group was equipped with the same device but without activation. After successful modeling, the spinal cord of rats was removed on the 3rd,7th and 14th day, respectively. The proliferation of ENSC was detected by neuroepithelial stem cell protein(Nestin)/5-bromodeoxyuridine(BrdU)immunofluorescence,and the expression of Wnt-3a protein in spinal cord was detected by immunohistochemistry. At the 4th,6th and 8th week, the spinal cord was stained with osmic acid to observe the formation of myelin sheath in rats, and Basso-Beattle-Bresnahan(BBB)functional score of each group of rats was performed before sampling. Results The immunofluorescence results showed that Nestin/BrdU double positive cells in the injured area could be seen in both groups on the 3rd day after SCI,reaching a peak on the 7th day,and gradually decreased on the 14th day,and still maintained at a high level. At the same time, number of Nestin/BrdU double positive cells in experimental group rats at each time point was more than that in control group. The immunohistochemical results showed that the expression level of Wnt-3a protein in experimental group rats at each time point was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).At the 6th and 8th weeks, the number of myelin sheaths in experimental group rats was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).At the 4 th,6th and 8th weeks, the BBB scores of rats in experimental group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The oscillating field stimulation can induce the proliferation of ENSC after SCI by activating Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, promote myelin regeneration, and improve motor function of rats.

Lyme disease is a natural zoonotic infectious disease transmitted by ticks infected by different genotypes of Borre-lia burgdorferi sensu lato, which was discovered in the 1970s.This pathogen is prevalent primarily in temperate and subtropi-cal areas.Dogs, cats, horses, cattle, deer, and other animals are susceptible, and humans are also susceptible hosts. The main symptoms of Lyme disease in humans are erythema migrans, arthritis, and other neurological symptoms, and the common symptoms in infected animals include joint diseases, coat shedding, fever, laminitis, and lameness.Lyme disease is wide-spread,but diagnosis is difficult, and this disease is easily misdiagnosed and missed.Awareness of Lyme disease must be in-creased to avoid its toll on livestock and the pet industry. Therefore, this article reviews research progress in diagnosis and con-trol technology for animal Lyme disease and Borrelia burgdorferi,to provide a reference for accurate, rapid diagnosis and con-trol of Lyme disease.
