Objective To analyze the impact of the interval time(IT)between prostate biopsy(PB)and radical prostatectomy(RP)on the perioperative safety and prognostic efficacy of prostate cancer patients. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 87 patients who underwent extraperitoneal laparoscopic RP at our hospitals during Jun.2022 to Nov.2024.The patients were divided into the IT ≤2 weeks group(n=42)and the IT ≥4 weeks group(n=45)according to the interval between PB and RP.Baseline data, perioperative indicators, postoperative inflammatory factors, postoperative pathological results, urinary continence, and complication rates were compared between the two groups. Results No statistically significant differences were observed between the two groups in baseline information, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative transfusion rate, postoperative hospital stay, catheter removal time, inflammatory factors and complications(P>0.05).Pathological results showed no significant differences in cancer tissue proportion, positive rate of lymph node, positive rate of surgical margins, and postoperative Gleason scores(P>0.05).However,the IT ≤2 weeks group exhibited significantly fewer cases of perineural invasion(25 vs.36,59.52%vs.80.00%)and vascular invasion(5 vs.12,11.90%vs.26.67%)compared to the IT≥4 weeks group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in postoperative urinary control rate and prostate-specific antigen(PSA)level between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Radical prostatectomy performed ≤2 weeks after prostate biopsy demonstrates better safety and prognosis.

Objective:To fabricate an all-ceramic crown which copies the morphology of preoperative tooth in one patient with only small occlusal dentin defects with completely digital design (CDD)technology, and to find a more precise and feasible solution to fix the tooth detect. Methods:The tooth treated with root canal therapy had the complete axial surface and small occlusal dentin defects. In order to keep the morphology of preoperative tooth, the digitized crown was designed with the information of preoperative tooth by oral scanning with CS3500 and using the"Biogeneric Copy"function of exocad design software, then the digitized information of the teeth was collected and transformed and the simulate zirconia crown was mode by 3D colloidal deposition technique. The patient's comfort and satisfaction were investigated by observing the morphology, the interproximal contacts, and the occlusion of crown. Results:The morphology of definitive restoration was similar to the preoperative tooth, which presented good interproximal contact and occlusion, and the patient was greatly satisfied without discomfort and foreign body sensation. Conclusion: A more accurate and personalized restoration approach can be implemented with the application of CDD to fabricate new ceramic crowns which copy the preoperative tooth.

Implant surface modified coating can improve its osteoinductivity, about which simple calcium phosphate coating has been extensively studied. But it has slow osteointegration speed and poor antibacterial property, while other metal ions added, such as nano zinc ion, can compensate for these deficiencies. This paper describes the incorporation form, the effect on physical and chemical properties of the material and the antibacterial property of nano zinc, and summarizes the material's biological property given by calcium ion, zinc ion and inorganic phosphate (Pi), mainly focusing on the influence of these three inorganic ions on osteoblast proliferation, differentiation, protein synthesis and matrix mineralization in order to present the positive function of zinc doped calcium phosphate in the field of bone formation.
