To clarify the species, pathogenicity, and distribution of the pathogens causing the root rot of Atractylodes lancea in Hubei province, the tissue separation method was used to isolate the pathogens from root rot samples in the main planting areas of A. lancea in Hubei. Based on the preliminary identification of the Fusarium genus by the internal transcribed spacer(ITS) sequence, three housekeeping genes, EF1/EF2, Btu-F-FO1/Btu-F-RO1, and FF1/FR1, were amplified and sequenced. Subsequently, a phylogenetic tree was constructed based on these TEF gene sequences to classify the pathogens. The pathogenicity of these strains was determined using the root irrigation method. A total of 194 pathogen strains were isolated using the tissue separation method. Molecular identification using the three housekeeping genes identified the pathogens as F. solani, F. oxysporum, F. commune, F. equiseti, F. tricinctum, F. redolens, F. fujikuroi, F. avenaceum, F. acuminatum, and F. incarnatum. Among them, F. solani and F. oxysporum were the dominant strains, widely distributed in multiple regions, with F. solani accounting for approximately 54% of the total isolated strains and F. oxysporum accounting for approximately 34%. Other strains accounted for a relatively small proportion, totaling approximately 12%. The results of pathogenicity determination showed that there were certain differences in pathogenicity among strains. The analysis of the pathogenicity differentiation of the widely distributed F. solani and F. oxysporum strains revealed that these dominant strains in Hubei were mainly highly pathogenic. This study determined the species, pathogenicity, and distribution of the pathogens causing the root rot of A. lancea in Hubei province. The results provide a scientific basis for further understanding the root rot of A. lancea and its epidemic occurrence and scientifically preventing and controlling this disease.

Aim To investigate the neuroprotective effect of dioscin(DIO)on hippocampal neurons(HT22)after oxygen glucose deprivation/reoxygen-ation(OGD/R)and its possible mechanism. Methods HT22 cells were treated with 0,2.5,5,10,20,40,80,160,and 320 mg·L-1DIO for 24 h,and the cell proliferation rate was detected by CCK-8 method. The concentration that was non-toxic to HT 2 2 cells was se-lected for subsequent experiments. After OGD for 2 h,HT22 cells were randomly divided into the OGD/R group,1.25,2.5,and 5 mg·L-1DIO group, and posi-tive control group.HT22 cells were taken as the con-trol group. After drug intervention for 24 h,the cell proliferation rate was detected by CCK-8 method;the LDH release was detected by colorimetry;the cell ap-optosis rate was detected by TUNEL method;the ex-pression of proteins related to PARP-1/AIF pathway and caspase pathway was detected by Western blot. Results DIO intervention significantly upregulated the expression of AIF protein in mitochondria and PAR protein in nucleus of HT22 cells after OGD/R,and sig-nificantly downregulated the release of LDH,neuronal apoptosis rate, total protein expression of AIF and PAR,PARP-1,AIF in nucleus and protein expression of PAR protein in mitochondria, while the expression of Bax and caspase-3 proteins was not significantly differ-ent from that in the OGD/R group. Conclusion DIO can alleviate the apoptosis of HT22 cells induced by OGD/R by regulating the expression and translocation of proteins related to the PARP-1/AIF pathway, thus playing a neuroprotective role.

Objective To investigate the factors influencing the positioning error of conical beam CT(CBCT)radiotherapy and the occurrence of acute radiation dermatitis in breast cancer fixed by cervical and thoracic integrated membrane in order to provide a basis for personalized out-target external boundary,selec-tion of fixed mode and guidance of radiodermatitis clinical practice work. Methods A total of 147 patients with breast cancer in this hospital from June 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects,inclu-ding 74 cases of breast conserving operation and 73 cases of modified radical(excision)operation.During the treatment period,CBCT scanning once a week obtained the image and conducted the grey match with the planned CT images to acquire the translational error of X(left and right),Y(head and foot)and Z(abdominal and dorsal)and the rotational posing error of X(pitch),Y(roll)and Z(yaw)axis, and at the same time, the acute radiodermatitis in nearly 3 months during radiotherapeutic period was recorded. Results Compared with the Z axis, the translation error of X axis and Y axis was greater, the rotation error was smaller, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The PTV external boundary of X,Y and Z axis calculated by the formula was 0.70,0.76,0.46 cm respectively. There was no statistically significant difference in the posi-tioning error of each direction of left and right breast between breast conservation operation and breast resec-tion operation(P>0.05).The correlation between the age with X,Y and Z axis translation errors was-0.14,0.18 and 0.10 respectively, which of the age with X,Y and Z axis rotation errors was 0.12,<0.01,0.02 respectively. The occurrence of grade 1 acute radiodermatitis in the patients with breast conserving oper-ation was 100.0%(74/74),which in the patients with excision operation was 13.7%(10/73),the occurrence of grade 2 was 82.2%,which of grade 3 was 4.1%(3/73),and the difference between them was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the every day positioning and target area external expansion, particular attention should be paid to the X and Y axis translational directions and the Z axis rotation direction.Using the integrated cervicothoracic thermoplastic membrane for fixing breast cancer is not affected by the operation mode, affected side position and age.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2024;40(5):484-491
Kinship identification is an important field of forensic genetics research, which can be widely applied in inheritance disputes, criminal investigations, and the identification of victims in ma-jor disaster cases. At present, capillary electrophoresis-based STR analysis is still the main method for kinship identification, but the impact of STR mutations on kinship identification needs further explora-tion.This paper reviews the theoretical basis and research status at home and abroad of kinship identi-fication.The challenge of STR mutation impact on kinship identification is prospected, and possible so-lutions are discussed in order to obtain a regular understanding of the impact of STR mutation on kin-ship identification and improve the accuracy of kinship analysis.

Asian Nursing Research 2024;18(1):28-35
Purpose:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses have faced many professional and ethical dilemmas and challenges along with bearing physical, mental, and emotional stress resulting from worrying about themselves or their family being infected and stigmatized. This stress can potentially lead to burnout and resignation. Professional resilience is crucial for nurses to cope with these adverse situations. This study aimed to investigate the process by which nurses adapt, change, and overcome challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic and ultimately demonstrate professional resilience.
Methods:
Descriptive phenomenology was applied. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 nurses working in COVID-19 wards and intensive care units to collect data. Giorgi's phenomenological analysis method was employed.
Results:
Based on the interview responses, four major themes were identified: 1) balancing patient care, self-protection, and passing on experience; 2) providing timely pandemic team resources and social support; 3) nurses' perseverance amid social discourse and constrained lives; and 4) selfless dedication shaping nursing's pinnacle experiences.
Conclusions
In the face of a sudden pandemic, frontline nurses play a critical role in maintaining medical capacity. Consequently, they must balance their families, lives, and work while adapting to the impact of the pandemic and changing practices and procedures based on the development of the pandemic and policy demands. The study findings provide insights into the challenges and emotional experiences encountered by nurses during a sudden pandemic outbreak and can serve as a reference for developing strategies to help nurses overcome these challenges and enhance their professional resilience.
