Objective:To investigate the safety and efficacy of a modified radiofrequency ablation（RFA）treatment method for primary great saphenous vein varicose.Methods:Clinical data of 90 patients with primary great saphenous vein varicose treated with ultrasound-guided RFA from January 2021 to April 2024 in the Ultrasound Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were retrospectively analyzed. Among them，45 patients were treated with traditional RFA treatment method（traditional group）and 45 patients were treated with improved RFA treatment method（improved group）. Number of punctures，operation time，foam hardener dosage，intraoperative and postoperative complications were recorded in the two groups. The preoperative and postoperative venous clinical severity score（VCSS）and chronic venous insufficiency questionnaire（CIVIQ-14）were compared. The closure rate and recurrence rate of great saphenous vein varicose were followed up and the efficacy of the two methods were analyzed.Results:The success rate of the improved group and the traditional group was 100%.The number of punctures in the improved group was less than those of the traditional group［1（1，1） vs. 2（2，3）， Z = -7.431， P<0.001］，and the operation time of the modified group was shorter than that of the traditional group［（15.89 ± 3.63）min vs.（30.91 ± 5.58）min， t=-15.145， P<0.001］，the average volume of lauryl foam was lower than that of the traditional RFA group［（7.96 ± 2.36）ml vs.（15.69 ± 2.89）ml， t=-13.892， P<0.001］. The incidence of complications was similar between the two groups，with no statistical significance（all P>0.05）. Postoperative VCSS and CIVIQ-14 scores were significantly improved compared with before（all P<0.001），with no statistical significance between the two groups（all P>0.05）. At 12 months after the operation，there was no significant difference in the closure rate of the saphenous vein between the improved group and the traditional group（ P>0.05），and the recurrence rate of varicose veins in both groups was 0. Conclusions:This modified RFA treatment method for the treatment of lower extremity varicose veins is minimally invasive，safe，and has the same efficacy as the traditional RFA treatment method. Compared with the traditional RFA treatment method，the modified RFA treatment method has the advantages of convenient operation，less puncture times and shorter operation time，and is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective:To investigate the safety and efficacy of ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of plasma cell mastitis.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed for the clinical data of 10 patients with plasma cell mastitis treated with ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2021 to December 2022. The postoperative complications, symptoms and signs of the patients, ultrasound imaging manifestations, treatment efficacy at 3 months after surgery, the reduction rate of ablation lesions at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after surgery, the recurrence status within 1 year after surgery, and the satisfaction with the treatment effect were observed.Results:The reduction rates of ablation lesions at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months were 32.31%-51.00%[(42.78±4.48)%], 70.66%-86.68%[(70.45±12.43)%], 72.31%-100%[(86.91±7.45)%], 89.13%-100%[(96.07±7.45)%], respecctively. The symptoms and signs of 10 patients improved significantly 3 months after surgery, and there was no recurrence of the disease during the follow-up period, and the treatment effect was significant and satisfactory.Conclusions:Ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of plasma cell mastitis is a minimally invasive, effective and safe treatment.

Objective:To investigate the safety and efficacy of ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of nonmetastatic pheochromocytoma.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 7 patients with nonmetastatic pheochromocytoma admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2018 to June 2020, all of whom underwent ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation. The changes of postoperative blood pressure, improvement of symptoms, intraoperative and postoperative complications were observed.Plasma free methoxypinephrine (MN) and normetanephrine (NMN) levels were recorded before and 2 weeks after operation. The reduction rate of ablation lesion volume at 1, 3 and 6 months after operation was calculated.Results:Postoperative blood pressure of all 7 patients was reduced to the normal range within 3 days, and symptoms such as headache were significantly relieved immediately after operation.No serious complications occurred during or after operation. Plasma free MN and NMN levels decreased to normal levels 2 weeks after operation. The mean reduction rates of the ablation lesions at 1, 3 and 6 months after operation were (46.61±13.42)%, (67.21±10.54)% and (85.73±4.15)%, respectively. Postoperative follow-up of 12-30 months showed that the blood pressure, plasma free MN and NMN levels of the patients were all in the normal range, and no symptoms such as headache and palpitation occurred again. All the tumors were completely ablated, and no recurrence was observed.Conclusions:Ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of nonmetastatic pheochromocytoma is minimally invasive, safe and effective, and can retain adrenal cortex function, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of ectopic pregnancy.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 8 patients with ectopic pregnancy admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2018 to January 2020, all of whom underwent ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation. Contrast ultrasonography was performed immediately after the operation to observe the changes of pregnancy sac. The length of hospital stay, mass absorption time and menstrual recovery time of the patients were recorded. Postoperative complications and serum human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) negative conversion time were observed. At 3 months after the operation, hysterosalpingography was performed 3-7 days after the menstruation to observe the patency of the fallopian tubes, all patients were followed up for 1 year to observe the postoperative intrauterine pregnancy and re-ectopic pregnancy.Results:All the 8 patients were successfully treated with radiofrequency ablation, and postoperative ultrasonography showed that the mass remained unenhanced. The length of hospital stay was (3.0±0.8)d. The packet absorption time was (32.4±14.3)d. The recovery time of menstruation was (39.6±2.7)d. There were no serious complications.Blood HCG levels decreased rapidly within a week, and all returned to normal level of non-pregnancy 2-3 weeks after the operation. Three months after the operation, the salpingogram showed that the fallopian tubes were recanalized in 3 patients. After a follow-up of 1 year, 1 patient had a natural intrauterine pregnancy, and there was no case of recurrent ectopic pregnancy.Conclusions:Ultrasound-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation is effective in the treatment of ectopic pregnancy with minimal trauma and rapid recovery, and can retain the reproductive ability of patients to some extent, which is worth popularizing in clinical application.

Objective To investigate the influence of bloody cervical cell samples on human papillomavirus(HPV) genotyping detection using flowcytometry fluorescence hybridization kit.Methods According to the concentration of hemoglobin(Hb),cervical cell samples were divided into five groups,including group A with Hb of 0 g/L(10 cases),group B with 0 g/L100 g/L.In each group,50% samples were with initial positive results of HPV genotyping detection.Every sample was detected using sample volume of 50,100,200,500 and 1 000 μL different volumes for testing and analysis results.Results For all samples with initial negative results,five samples with initial positive results in group A and five samples with initial positive results,the detected results of different sample volume were without differences.In the 10 samples,with initial positive results of group C,D and E,there were four,four and nine samples respectively,were with false negative detected results of different sample volumes.Conclusion Bloody cervical cell samples could cause false negative results of HPV genotyping detection using flowcytometry fluorescence hybridization kit.It might be necessary to set optimal sample volume according to the concentration of Hb for ensuring the accuracy of genotyping detection.

This study was to investigate the effect of phenylhexyl isothiocyanate (PHI) on drug resistance and sensitivity on K562/A02 cell line to adriamycin (ADM) and to elucidate the possible mechanisms. The inhibition rates of ADM and PHI + ADM on growth of K562/A02 cell line were measured by MTT assay, and K562/A02 cell resistant multiple was calculated. The apoptosis rate of K562/A02 cell line, the changes of intracellular ADM concentrations and MRP1 protein level were detected by flow cytometry (FCM). Intracellular reoxidized GSH level was determined by spectrometric enzyme assay and MRP1 mRNA was assayed by semiquantitative RT-PCR before and after using PHI. The results indicated that the survival rate of K562/A02 cell line decreased with the increasing concentration of PHI. Apoptosis rate increased after treatment in combination with two above drugs, the changes of drug resistance multiple and intracellular ADM level had statistical significance between K562/A02 and K562 cells (p < 0.05), when the concentration of PHI was more than 20 micromol/L. Intracellular GSH level in K562/A02 cell line reduced 5% when 1 microg/ml ADM was used alone, and it increased slightly at first, then decreased when more than 10 micromol/L PHI was used. When more than 20 micromol/L PHI was used in combination with 1 microg/ml ADM, intracellular GSH level in K562/A02 cell line decreased progressively with increasing the concentration of PHI. The expressions of MRP1 mRNA and protein had no statistical significance between K562/A02 and K562 cells (p > 0.05) after or before PHI was used. It is concluded that the cyto-toxicity of PHI to K562/A02 cell line does not associate with the depletion of the intracellular GSH. PHI not only enhances the sensitivity of K562/A02 cell line to ADM, but also partially reverses effect of K562/A02 cell resistance to ADM. ADM combined with PHI can diminish side effect and dosage of ADM.
