Objective:To explore the differences in sociodemographic and clinical characteristics between pa-tients with unipolar depression bipolar depression and to establish a nomogram for identifying bipolar depression.Methods:Using data from the China Mental Disorders Cohort Study,the sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of 2 643 patients with unipolar depression and 250 patients with bipolar depression diagnosed accord-ing to the criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,Fifth Edition(DSM-5)were includ-ed to compare their sociodemographic and clinical characteristics.These characteristics included general demograph-ic information,disease-related information,clinical examination results,and the severity of the disease assessed with the Global Assessment of Functioning(GAF)and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale.Logistic regression analysis was employed to identify factors influencing bipolar depression,and a nomogram was constructed for its identifica-tion.Results:The risk factors for bipolar depression included being male(OR=1.48),being employed(OR=1.38),having non-melancholic features during episodes(OR=2.33),a Body Mass Index ranging from normal to obese(OR=2.48,2.49,4.65),psychotic features(OR=2.14),mixed episode(OR=9.36),comorbid physical diseases(OR=2.47),four or more depressive episodes(OR=1.67),earlier age of onset(OR=0.95),longer ill-ness duration(OR=1.03),and higher GAF scores(OR=1.02).The nomogram model achieved an AUC of 0.81(95％CI:0.78-0.84).The Hosmer-Lemeshow test result was x2=6.96(P＞0.05),indicating good model fit.The calibration curve showed good performance.The decision curve analysis revealed that the nomogram pro-vides significant clinical benefit when the risk of bipolar depression was within the range of 0 to 0.9.Conclusion:The nomogram established based on the identified sociodemographic and clinical factors can accurately assess the risk of bipolar depression,providing a useful tool for early identification and intervention.

Objective:To describe the detail sampling design,weighting,instruments,filed procedures and quality control methods of the epidemiological survey on dementia among community residents in Tongliao City.Methods:A three-stage disproportionate probability sampling design was used to investigate the inhabitants aged 65 years and over in Tongliao City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The 10/66 Dementia Research Group(10/66 DRG)assessment instruments were used to diagnose dementia,using computer-assisted personal interview mode in the selected older people.Comprehensive quality control methods were implemented throughout the field-work.Results:A total of 166 villages or communities were sampled from nine counties or districts in Tongliao Cit-y.Totally 4 345 older people were interviewed with 96.2％response rate.By calculating sampling design weights,non-response adjustment weights and post-stratification adjustment weights,these weights were multiplied and per-formed trimming adjustment and standardization adjustment to generate final weights.The 171 interviewers were well-trained and qualified to carry out filed interview.Quality control methods included computer data check,audio record check,and telephone check in order to ensure the quality of the survey.Conclusion:This survey is imple-mented using a rigorous sampling design and timely quality control methods,and uses the 10/66 DRG assessment instruments with satisfactory international validity and reliability as survey instruments,which has international cross-cultural comparability.It provides a valid and feasible methodology of epidemiological survey on dementia for further studies in different regions in China.

Objective:To clarify the medical security plan and its practical effects at the main venue of the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games.Methods:The plan described the medical security implementation plan of the main venue of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou (organizational management and operation mechanism, medical security operation system, standardized training and support processes, application of Asian Games intelligent first aid security system, and so on). And through high-facticity simulation verify the operation effect of the main venue's medical support (team mode and response time). Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the medical security program verified through the effect of medical services (quantity, disease types, transfers, etc.) during the Asian Games and Asian Paralympic Games.Results:The medical security team of the main venue of the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games included the management team and the operation team, of which consisted of 44 medical staffs (22 doctors and 22 nurses); and were deployed to 16 different security positions. It was also accompanied with 16 volunteers to assist medical staff to transport patients. In addition, a total of 300 medical observers were enrolled in audience area to assist rapid identification, intervention, and collaborative diagnosis and treatment with the medical team. Medical security teams were arranged to cover all the audience areas who can arrive at the patient's area within 2 minutes after receiving orders, transfer the patient to the ambulance’s site in 8 minutes, and transport the patient to a designated hospital within 10-20 minutes. During the Asian Games and Asian Paralympic Games, the medical-care team treated a total of 3 742 patients, including 9 patients transported from medical service sites of the audience area to the stadium infirmary, as well as 83 patients referred to the designated hospital.Conclusions:The medical security implementation plan for the main venues of the Asian Games provides good medical security for the Asian Games and Asian Paralympic Games. It also provides theoretical and practical experience for the development of the medical security system for international events in future.

The development and application of processing technology is closely related to the quality of Chinese medicine. Currently， Chinese medicine processing is still in the mechanization stage with limited processing equipment， low levels of automation and intelligence. As a result， the imprecise control of parameters during processing leads to unstable quality of Chinese herbal pieces. However， with the arrival of the big data era and the continuous development of "Internet+"， Chinese medicine processing technology and equipment have been continuously improved and updated， and gradually shifted to the development direction of automation and intelligence. The linkage production technology of Chinese herbal pieces optimizes the separate processing equipment coupling into the production line for continuous manufacture of Chinese herbal pieces， intending to improve production efficiency. The large-scale industrialized production of Chinese herbal pieces tends towards digital technology of processing experience and online inspection technology based on machine vision， electronic nose， and electronic tongue. These technologies are crucial prerequisites for standardizing the parameters of Chinese medicine processing. And further by docking the processing process and equipment with the internet， realizing the intelligent control of the production process is an important process for the transformation and upgrading of Chinese herbal piece industry in the future. In this paper， we summarized the development characteristics of different stages of Chinese medicine processing technology， combed application and development of processing theory， the evolution of processing equipment， and problems in the current industrial development stage of Chinese medicine processing， in order to provide ideas and methods for achieving digital and intelligent innovation of processing technology as well as high-efficient and high-quality production of Chinese herbal pieces.

Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics and related socio-demographic factors of schizo-phrenia patients with different ages of onset.Methods:Totally 2 016 patients with schizophrenia aged 15 to 70 were selected according to the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,Fifth Edition.All of the patients were interviewed by psychiatrists using the Mini International Neuropsy-chiatric Interview to diagnose schizophrenia,Clinical-Rated Dimensions of Psychosis Symptom Severity(CRDPSS)and the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS)to assess symptoms.The cut-off points were 18 and 25 years old for three age groups,i.e.early onset(EOS),youth onset(YOS)and adult onset(AOS).Statistical analy-ses were performed by analysis of variance Pearson correlation analysis,and multivariate linear regression.Results:The early-onset patients had the highest total PANSS score(73.8±28.0)and CRDPSS score(11.7±5.4).Fe-male gender,high education level,Han ethnicity,early onset age,and slower onset of illness were negatively corre-lated with the total and dimension score of PANSS scale and CRDPSS scale(standardized regression coefficient:0.04-0.47),and income level and smoking were negatively correlated with those score(standardized regression coefficient:-0.04--0.14).Conclusion:Early-onset schizophrenia patients have more severe symptoms,and fe-male,high education level,early-onset disease,and chronic onset are the risk factors of symptom severity in patients with schizophrenia.

Objective:To describe the prevalence of anxiety symptom and personality disorder among medical aesthetic clients,and explore related factors of anxiety symptoms among them.Methods:Totally 788 clients who consulted in a cosmetic plastic surgery department were recruited in a tertiary hospital in Beijing from November 2021 to July 2023.Using the Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire-4(PDQ-4)and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)as assessment instruments,with a cutoff point of 42 and 50 points respectively,for screening out personality disorder and anxiety symptom.Statistical analysis was conducted by analysis of variance,chi-square tests,multivari-ate linear regression and logistic regression.Results:The rate of anxiety symptom among the medical aesthetic cli-ents was of 15.23％(120/788),and the prevalence of personality disorder was 3.50％(28/788).Age was nega-tively associated with SAS scores(β=-0.82,P=0.009),PDQ-4 score was positively associated with SAS score(β=0.15,P＜0.001),eye plastic surgery,facial contouring and minimally invasive plastic surgery were positively associated with SAS score(β=2.00-3.64,P＜0.05).Conclusion:The younger and the more prominent the per-sonality dysfunction the clients are,the severer anxiety symptom they have.The clients who consult for eye plastic surgery,facial contouring,and minimally invasive plastic surgery have severer anxiety symptom.

Objective:To investigate the characteristics of anorectal dynamics in elderly patients with functional defecation disorders(FDD), and to provide a basis for their diagnosis, treatment and prevention.Methods:In this retrospective study, 226 patients with FDD receiving 3D high-resolution anorectal manometry were divided into an elderly group(93 cases)and a non-elderly group(133 cases). Results from anorectal manometry parameters were compared and analysis of patterns of anorectal pressure changes in elderly participants based on sex, the Bristol stool classification and clinical symptoms was conducted.Results:The resting anal pressure, rectal pressure and anal relaxation rate were lower( t=-3.407, -2.051, Z=2.548, P=0.001, 0.040, 0.011)and the volume of first sensation was higher( t=1.998, P=0.047)in the elderly group than in the non-elderly group.The maximum anal squeezing pressure, residual anal pressure and maximum tolerated volume were higher( t=4.589, 4.730, 2.025, all P<0.05), whereas the anal relaxation rate and anorectal pressure gradient were lower in elderly men than in elderly women( Z=4.059, t=-3.714, P<0.001 for both). Regarding the types of FDD, both the elderly group and the non-elderly group were dominated with type Ⅱ defecation disorder, with more men than women having type Ⅱ defecation disorder in the elderly group( χ2=10.343, P=0.001). In cases of paradoxical sphincter contraction during simulated defecation, the incidence in the elderly group was 80.65%(75/93), which was higher than 68.42%(91/133)in the non-elderly group( χ2=4.194, P=0.041). The volume of first sensation, volume of first defecation sensation, and maximum tolerated volume of patients in the elderly group without the urge to defecate were(59.86±23.84)ml, (96.76±34.61)ml, and(144.32±30.57)ml, respectively, higher than those of patients with the urge to defecate(46.79±17.20)ml, (75.26±28.75)ml, and(120.00±40.28)ml( t=-2.241, -2.493, -2.891, P=0.027, 0.014, 0.005). The rectal pressure(26.52±16.08)mmHg of patients with defecation dyssynergia was lower than that of patients without defecation dyssynergia(39.91±8.82)mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa)( t=-3.128, P=0.002), while the resting anal pressure of patients with defecation dyssynergia(90.60±28.44)mmHg was higher than that of patients without defecation dyssynergia(73.65±27.10)mmHg( t=-2.201, P=0.030). The resting anal pressure and maximum anal squeezing pressure in patients with anal blockage sensation[(87.11±24.64)mmHg, (149.28±48.29)mmHg]were higher than those in patients without anal blockage sensation[(72.43±20.02)mmHg, (121.76±26.35)mmHg]( t=2.954、3.066, P=0.004、0.003). There was no significant difference in values from parameters of anorectal dynamics between patients with different Bristol stool types, with and without incomplete defecation or with different degrees of abdominal distension(all P>0.05). Conclusions:Anorectal dynamics in patients with FDD are characterized by paradoxical anal sphincter movements, but older patients with FDD are mainly characterized by inadequate rectal propulsion, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and reduced rectal sensitivity.

Objective: To understand the characteristics of rapid naming in exotropia children, and to analyze the influence of clinical indicators related to exotropia on the rapid naming. Methods: A total of 45 exotropia children were recruited according to the diagnostic criteria of consensus of strabismus classification experts (2015) from the Zhongshan ophthalmic center as the case group, and 45 children of the same age, gender and parental educational status were recruited as the control group without any ocular diseases. All children were evaluated the ability of the rapid naming by classical rapid naming test. Results: The letter rapid naming time of children with exotropia was longer than that in control group [(26.87±10.18)(21.98±7.29)s], and the difference was statistically significant (t=2.73, P=0.01), however there was no significant correlation between strabismus degree, symptom duration, AC/A ratio, disease classification, simultaneous vision, the near stereopsis, the far stereopsis and the letter rapid naming in the clinical indicators of exotropia (r=-0.16, 0.23, 0.20, 0.06, 0.09, 0.05, 0.20, P>0.05). Conclusion Rapid naming might be impaired among children with exotropia, with no significant correlation between this defect and its clinical indicators.

Objective To observe the characteristics of apathy in early Parkinson′s disease patients,analyze its relationship with other non?motor symptoms, and explore its impact on the quality of life.Methods Clinical data of 75 patients with Parkinson′s disease admitted to xingtai people′s hospital from August 2014 to August 2017 were selected.Unified Parkinson′s disease rating scale?III(UPDRS?III ), Modified apathy rating scale ( MAES ), Montgomy?asberg Depression rating scale ( MADRS ) and Simple mental state test ( MMSE) were used to evaluate patients′ motor symptoms, indifference, depression and cognitive function.The relationship between apathy and other non?motor symptoms was analyzed by Parkinson′s disease non?motor symptom evaluation scale.Parkinson′s disease questionnaire?39 ( PDQ?39) was used to evaluate the quality of life.The patients were divided into the affective indifference group and the non?affective indifference group according to whether the patients were accompanied by affective indifference.Results 21.3%( 16／75) of the patients were diagnosed with apathy.Emotional indifference group UPDRS score ?Ⅲ(23.98±9.46),not apathy group(14.74±6.27).There was significant difference between the two groups (P＜0.001).MMSE score of the indifferent group was ( 21.26±3.21),and that of the non?indifferent group was (26.57± 3.42).There was significant difference between the two groups ( P＝0.038).PDQ?39 score of the emotionally indifferent group was (65.20± 25.78),which was significantly higher than that of the non?emotionally indifferent group ( 34.86± 25.42).There was significant difference between the two groups (P＜0.001).In the comparison of Parkinson′s disease non?motor symptom evaluation scale,the fatigue symptom score of the emotionally indifferent group was (6.1±0.2) significantly higher than that of the non?indifferent group (2.3±0.7),and the difference was statistically significant (P＝0.006).The score of lack of interest was ( 4.8 ± 1.5) in the indifferent group and ( 1.3 ± 0.8) in the non?indifferent group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P＝0.017).Conclusion Apathy has a high incidence in early Parkinson′s disease patients,often combined with fatigue and lack of interest symptoms.It has a serious impact on the quality of daily life in the future.
