ObjectiveTo investigate the mechanism of action of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwutang （HGWT） against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury （CIRI） based on bioinformatics and experimental validation. MethodsBiological informatics methods were used to screen for active components of HGWT and their targets. The GEO database was utilized to obtain CIRI-related differentially expressed genes （DEGs）， and platforms such as GeneCards were used to identify disease targets. Venn diagram analysis was conducted to identify overlapping targets， followed by protein-protein interaction （PPI）， gene ontology （GO）， and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes （KEGG） enrichment analysis， as well as immune infiltration and immune cell differential analysis. Core genes （Hub genes） were screened using LASSO regression and ROC curves， and molecular docking was used to validate the binding efficiency between the active components of the drug and the core targets. A rat CIRI model was established， with rats randomly divided into five groups （n=10）： Sham surgery group （Sham）， model group （MG）， and low-dose （LD，5.3 g·kg^-1）， medium-dose （MD，10.6 g·kg^-1）， and high-dose （HD，21.2 g·kg^-1） HGWT groups. From 3 days before modeling to 7 days after surgery， oral administration was performed daily： Sham and MG groups received physiological saline， while each drug group received the corresponding dose of HGWT. Hematoxylin-eosin （HE） staining， Nissl staining， and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling （TUNEL staining） were used to assess the repair effects of HGWT on neural damage. Western blot analysis was used to detect B-cell lymphoma-2 protein （Bcl-2）， Bcl-2-associated X protein （Bax）， signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 （STAT3）， phosphorylated STAT3 ［p-STAT3 （Tyr705）］， protein kinase B1 （Akt1）， and phosphorylated Akt1 ［p-Akt1 （Ser473）］， among other target proteins. ResultsAfter screening， 56 common target points of DEGs-disease-drug were obtained. GO and KEGG analyses indicated that HGWT primarily functions in pathways such as apoptosis， oxidative stress， and inflammatory responses. Immune infiltration analysis revealed a significant association between HGWT's anti-CIRI activity and immune cells such as Th17 cells and myeloid-derived suppressor cells （MDSCs） （P0.01）. LASSO-ROC analysis identified Akt1， Caspase-3， glycogen synthase kinase-3β （GSK-3β）， and STAT3 as core genes. Molecular docking confirmed that Hub genes exhibit significant binding affinity with the active components of HGWT （binding energy ≤ -5 kJ·mol^-1）（1 cal≈4.186 J）. Animal experiment results showed that compared with the sham group， the MG group exhibited significant neuronal necrosis， nuclear condensation， and vacuolar degeneration in rat brains， with a significant decrease in Nissl body density （P0.01） and increased neuronal apoptosis in rat brains as indicated by TUNEL staining （P0.01）. Compared with the MG， the LD， MD， and HD groups showed reduced neuronal necrosis， nuclear condensation， and vacuolar degeneration in rat brain neurons， increased Nissl body density， and reduced apoptosis （P0.01）， with significant differences among the drug groups （P0.01）. Western blot results showed that compared with the sham group， the MG group had reduced Bcl-2 and p-Akt1 （P0.01） and increased Bax and p-STAT3 （P0.01）. Compared with the MG group， the drug groups showed increased Bcl-2 and p-Akt1 （P0.01） and decreased Bax and p-STAT3 （P0.01）. There were no significant changes in total Akt1 and STAT3 protein levels among the groups. ConclusionBased on network pharmacology and experimental verification， HGWT may exert its neuroprotective effects by regulating the phosphorylation levels of Akt1 and STAT3， thereby alleviating cell apoptosis， inflammatory responses， and oxidative stress in rat brain tissue following CIRI. This provides theoretical support for the clinical treatment of CIRI.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the neuroprotective effect of 6-shogaol (6-SH) in global cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury (CIRI) following cardiac arrest (CA) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in rats. METHODS: Computer-aided molecular docking was used to determine whether 6-SH could spontaneously bind to death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1). SPF-grade male SD rats were randomly divided into a sham group (n = 5), a CPR group (n = 7), and a CPR+6-SH group (n = 7). The CPR group and CPR+6-SH group were further divided into 12-, 24-, and 48-hour subgroups based on observation time points. A rat model of global CIRI after CA-CPR was established by asphyxiation. In the sham group, only tracheal and vascular intubation was performed without asphyxia and CPR induction. The CPR group was intraperitoneally injected with 1 mL of normal saline immediately after successful modeling. The CPR+6-SH group received an intraperitoneal injection of 20 mg/kg 6-SH (1 mL) immediately after successful modeling, followed by administration every 12 hours until the endpoint. Neurological Deficit Score (NDS) was recorded at each time point after modeling. After completion of observation at each time point, rats were anesthetized and sacrificed, and brain tissue specimens were collected. Histopathological changes of neurons were observed under light microscopy after hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. Ultrastructural changes of hippocampal neurons and autophagy were observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was used to detect mRNA expression levels of DAPK1, vacuolar protein sorting 34 (VPS34), Beclin1, and microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3) in brain tissues. Western blotting was used to detect protein expression levels of DAPK1, phosphorylated DAPK1 at serine 308 (p-DAPK1 ser308), VPS34, Beclin1, and LC3. Immunofluorescence was used to observe Beclin1 and LC3 expression in brain tissues under a fluorescence microscope. RESULTS: Molecular docking results indicated that 6-SH could spontaneously bind to DAPK1. Compared with the sham group, the NDS scores of the CPR group rats were significantly increased at all modeling time points; under light microscopy, disordered cell arrangement, widened intercellular spaces, and edema were observed in brain tissues, with pyknotic and necrotic nuclei in some areas; under TEM, mitochondria were markedly swollen with intact membranes, dissolved matrix, reduced or disappeared cristae, vacuolization, and increased autophagosomes. Compared with the CPR group, the NDS scores of the CPR+6-SH group rats were significantly decreased at all modeling time points; under light microscopy, local neuronal edema and widened perinuclear space were observed; under TEM, mitochondria were mostly mildly swollen with intact membranes, fewer autophagosomes, and alleviated injury. RT-qPCR results showed that compared with the sham group, mRNA expression levels of DAPK1, VPS34, Beclin1, and LC3 in brain tissues were significantly upregulated in all CPR subgroups, with the most pronounced changes at 24 hours. Compared with the CPR group, the CPR+6-SH group showed significantly lower mRNA expression of the above indicators at each time point [24 hours post-modeling (relative expression): DAPK1 mRNA: 3.41±0.68 vs. 4.48±0.62; VPS34 mRNA: 3.63±0.49 vs. 4.66±1.18; Beclin1 mRNA: 3.08±0.49 vs. 4.04±0.22; LC3 mRNA: 2.60±0.36 vs. 3.67±0.62; all P < 0.05]. Western blotting results showed that compared with the sham group, the protein expression levels of DAPK1, VPS34, Beclin1, and LC3 in all CPR subgroups were significantly increased, while the expression of p-DAPK1 ser308 was significantly decreased, with the most pronounced changes observed in the CPR 24-hour subgroup. Compared with the CPR group, the CPR+6-SH subgroups exhibited significantly reduced protein expression of DAPK1, VPS34, Beclin1, and LC3 [24-hour post-modeling: DAPK1/β-actin: 1.88±0.22 vs. 2.47±0.22; VPS34/β-actin: 2.55±0.06 vs. 3.46±0.05; Beclin1/β-actin: 2.12±0.03 vs. 2.87±0.03; LC3/β-actin: 2.03±0.24 vs. 3.17±0.23; all P < 0.05]. Conversely, the expression of p-DAPK1 ser308 was significantly upregulated in the CPR+6-SH group compared to the CPR group [24-hour post-modeling: p-DAPK1 ser308/β-actin: 0.40±0.02 vs. 0.20±0.07, P < 0.05]. Under the fluorescence microscope, fluorescence intensities of Beclin1 and LC3 in the CPR 24-hour group were significantly higher than those in the sham 24-hour group; compared with the CPR 24-hour group, the CPR+6-SH 24-hour group showed significantly reduced fluorescence intensities of Beclin1 and LC3. CONCLUSION 6-SH inhibited the expression of DAPK1, alleviated excessive autophagy after global CIRI following CA-CPR in rats, and exerted neuroprotective effects. The mechanism may be related to phosphorylation at the DAPK1 ser308 site.

Objective To summarize and explore the current state,hotspots,and trends in the field of surgical treatment for intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH)over the past decade through a bibliometric and visualization analysis of relevant literature.Methods Relevant Chinese and English literature on the surgical treatment of ICH,published from January 1,2014 to April 1,2024,was retrieved and screened from CNKI and Web of Science databases.Visualization analysis was conducted using CiteSpace,VOSviewer,and other software to analyze the number of published papers,authors,countries,institutions,etc.Social network analysis diagrams of authors,keyword clustering network analysis diagrams,keyword burst strength,and keyword timeline maps were also utilized.Results(1)A total of 3 456 relevant papers were included,with 2 173 in Chinese and 1 283 in English.From 2014 to 2021,the annual number of Chinese publications on ICH surgery was higher than that of English publications,but the number of Chinese publications began to decline from 2016.The number of English publications showed an overall increasing trend.(2)A total of 6 367 authors were identified from the English literature,with notable collaboration networks led by researchers such as Mocco J,Hanley DF,Ziai WC,You C,and Tang ZP.The Chinese literature included 6 522authors,with prominent collaboration networks led by Wang LK,Cai Q,Ku HB,Zhang S,and Zhu SQ.(3)Analysis of the countries involved in the English literature showed that 31 countries participated in research on ICH surgery,with China leading in the number of publications(505),followed by the United States(330)and Germany(106).The top three countries in centrality were the United States(0.32),China(0.16),and Canada(0.11).The top three institutions in English literature publications were Johns Hopkins University(51 papers),Ohio State University(39 papers),and Harvard University(38 papers).In China,Sichuan University(32 papers),Huazhong University of Science and Technology(30 papers),and Capital Medical University(27 papers)had multiple English publications;Wuhan University People's Hospital(15 papers),Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University(13 papers),and Affiliated Hospital of Yan'an University(13 papers)had multiple Chinese publications.There was close collaboration among research institutions in the English literature,whereas Chinese researchers often established research teams within their medical units with relatively less collaboration between teams.(4)Research on ICH surgery primarily focused on surgical methods,complications,and comprehensive perioperative treatment.Research hotspots included hypertensive ICH,minimally invasive surgical techniques,and perioperative management and treatment."neuroendoscopy"was the most recent emergent keyword in Chinese literature with high centrality and the strongest burst strength,while"randomized trial"had the highest burst strength in English literature.Research trends included the integration of artificial intelligence with minimally invasive techniques to optimize ICH surgery management and treatment strategies,analysis of risk factors,and evaluation of imaging value.Conclusions Over the past decade,the overall publication volume on the surgical treatment of ICH has been in a stable development phase,with research directions covering surgical techniques,diagnosis and treatment,evaluation,and management.Core research teams led by key authors were the main contributors to the publications.Future research hotspots and trends in ICH surgery may include the optimization of surgical techniques,complication management,large-scale multicenter clinical trials and integration of artificial intelligence with minimally invasive techniques.

Objective:To investigate whether 6-shogaol (6-SH) alleviates oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R)-induced neuronal autophagy and calcium overload by promoting the expression of microRNA-26a-5p (miR-26a-5p) and inhibiting death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1), and to explore its potential mechanisms.Methods:Primary cultured logarithmic growth phase mouse hippocampal neurons HT22 cells were taken and cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) was used to detect cell viability, searching for the optimal concentration of Na 2S 2O 4. HT22 cells were divided into blank control group (NC group), OGD/R group (sugar-free culture medium + 10 mmol/L Na 2S 2O 4 treatment for 1.5 hours followed by normal culture medium for 4 hours), 6-SH intervention group (cultured with 10 μmol/L 6-SH for 4 hours after OGD), negative control inhibitor pretreatment group (transfected with negative control inhibitor for 48 hours followed by OGD, then cultured with 6-SH for 4 hours), and miR-26a-5p inhibitor pretreatment group (transfected with miR-26a-5p inhibitor for 48 hours followed by OGD, then cultured with 6-SH for 4 hours). Cell viability of each group was detected by CCK-8 method; cell ultrastructure was observed under transmission electron microscopy; real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was used to detect the gene expressions of DAPK1 and miR-26a-5p; molecular docking were used to verify the interaction between 6-SH and miR-26a-5p; dual-luciferase assay was used to verify the targeting relationship between DAPK1 and miR-26a-5p; flow cytometry was used to determine the levels of intracellular Ca 2+; Western blotting was used to detect the protein expressions of phosphorylated-glutamate receptor 2B (p-NMDAR2B) Ser1303, DAPK1, autophagy related protein Beclin1, light chain 3 (LC3), and p-DAPK1 Ser308; immunofluorescence was used to detect the expression of LC3 and Beclin1. Results:The results of the CCK-8 assay showed that the cell viability of the 6-SH intervention group was significantly increased compared to the OGD/R group, while the cell viability of the miR-26a-5p inhibitor pretreatment group was significantly decreased compared to the 6-SH intervention group. Transmission electron microscopy revealed that the number of autophagosomes in the 6-SH intervention group was significantly reduced compared to the OGD/R group, while the number of autophagosomes in the miR-26a-5p inhibitor pretreatment group was significantly increased compared to the 6-SH intervention group. RT-qPCR results showed that compared with the OGD/R group, the expression of miR-26a-5p was significantly upregulated and the expression of DAPK1 mRNA was significantly downregulated in the 6-SH intervention group; compared with the 6-SH intervention group, the expression of miR-26a-5p was significantly downregulated and the expression of DAPK1 mRNA was significantly upregulated in the miR-26a-5p inhibitor pretreatment group. Molecular docking verified the interaction between 6-SH and miR-26a-5p. Dual-luciferase reporter gene assay showed that compared with the negative control group, mmu-miR-26a-5p significantly downregulated the luciferase expression of m-DAPK1-3UTR-WT, indicating a binding interaction between them. Flow cytometry results showed that compared with the OGD/R group, the level of intracellular Ca 2+ was significantly decreased in the 6-SH intervention group; compared with the 6-SH intervention group, the level of Ca 2+ was significantly increased in the miR-26a-5p inhibitor pretreatment group. Western blotting results showed that compared with the OGD/R group, the protein expressions of p-NMDAR2B Ser1303, DAPK1, Beclin1, and LC3 were significantly decreased in the 6-SH intervention group (p-NMDAR2B Ser1303/β-actin: 2.34±0.27 vs. 4.78±0.39, DAPK1/β-actin: 1.40±0.13 vs. 2.37±0.21, Beclin1/β-actin: 2.61±0.32 vs. 4.32±0.29, LC3/β-actin: 2.52±0.45 vs. 5.09±0.18, all P < 0.05), while the protein expression of p-DAPK1 Ser308 was significantly increased (p-DAPK1 Ser308/β-actin: 0.66±0.09 vs. 0.40±0.02, P < 0.05); compared with the 6-SH intervention group, the protein expressions of p-NMDAR2B Ser1303, DAPK1, Beclin1, and LC3 were significantly increased in the miR-26a-5p inhibitor pretreatment group (p-NMDAR2B Ser1303/β-actin: 4.08±0.14 vs. 2.34±0.27, DAPK1/β-actin: 1.96±0.15 vs. 1.40±0.13, Beclin1/β-actin: 3.92±0.31 vs. 2.61±0.32, LC3/β-actin: 4.33±0.33 vs. 2.52±0.45, all P < 0.05), while the expression of p-DAPK1 Ser308 protein was significantly decreased (p-DAPK1 Ser308/β-actin: 0.33±0.12 vs. 0.66±0.09, P < 0.05); immunofluorescence staining showed that compared with the OGD/R group, the fluorescence intensity of LC3 and Beclin1 was significantly decreased in the 6-SH intervention group; compared with the 6-SH intervention group, the fluorescence intensity of LC3 and Beclin1 was significantly increased in the miR-26a-5p inhibitor pretreatment group. Conclusion:6-SH can alleviate neuronal damage by regulating miR-26a-5p/DAPK1 to reduce autophagy and calcium overload in cells.

Objective:To summarize the best evidence on exercise for the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot.Methods:A bibliometric approach was used. Systematic searches were carried out to retrieve all the publicly published evidences till July 2022 on exercise for the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot, including guidelines, evidence summary, recommended practices, expert consensus, systematic review, and original research, from foreign language databases including BMJ Best Practice, UpToDate, Joanna Briggs Institute Evidence-Based Practice Database, Cochrane Library, Embase, PubMed, Guideline International Network, National Guideline Clearinghouse, Chinese databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, VIP Database, China Biology Medicine disc, China Clinical Guidelines Library, and the official websites of relevant academic organizations including National Institute for Health and Care Excellence of the United Kingdom, Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario of Canada, the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot, International Diabetes Federation, American College of Sports Medicine, American Diabetes Association, and Chinese Diabetes Society. The literature was screened and evaluated for the quality, from which the evidences were extracted and evaluated to summarize the best evidences.Results:Nine guidelines, three expert consensuses, one evidence summary (with two systematic reviews being traced), two systematic reviews, 6 randomized controlled trials were retrieved and included, with good quality of literature. Totally 33 pieces of best evidences on exercise for the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot were summarized from the aspects of appropriate exercise prevention of diabetic foot, exercise therapy of diabetic foot, precautions for exercise, health education, and establishment of a multidisciplinary limb salvage team.Conclusions:Totally 33 pieces of best evidences on exercise for the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot were summarized from 5 aspects, providing decision-making basis for clinical guidance on exercise practice for patients with diabetic foot.

Objective:To develop a risk prediction model for the recurrence of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) in diabetic patients and primarily validate its predictive value.Methods:Meta-analysis combined with retrospective cohort study was conducted. The Chinese and English papers on risk factors related to DFU recurrence publicly published in China Biology Medicine disc, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, VIP Database, and PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science, and the search time was from the establishment date of each database until March 31 st, 2022. The papers were screened and evaluated, the data were extracted, a meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4.1 statistical software to screen risk factors for DFU recurrence, and Egger's linear regression was used to assess the publication bias of the study results. Risk factors for DFU recurrence mentioned in ≥3 studies and with statistically significant differences in the meta-analysis were selected as the independent variables to develop a logistic regression model for risk prediction of DFU recurrence. The medical records of 101 patients with DFU who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University from January 2019 to June 2022 were collected. There were 69 males and 32 females, aged (63±14) years. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of the predictive performance of the above constructed predictive model for DFU recurrence was drawn, and the area under the ROC curve, maximum Youden index, and sensitivity and specificity at the point were calculated. Dataset including data of 8 risk factors for DFU recurrence and the DFU recurrence rates of 10 000 cases was simulated using RStudio software and a scatter plot was drawn to determine two probabilities for risk division of DFU recurrence. Using the β coefficients corresponding to 8 DFU recurrence risk factors ×10 and taking the integer as the score of coefficient weight of each risk factor, the total score was obtained by summing up, and the cutoff scores for risk level division were calculated based on the total score × two probabilities for risk division of DFU recurrence. Results:Finally, 20 papers were included, including 3 case-control studies and 17 cohort studies, with a total of 4 238 cases and DFU recurrence rate of 22.7% to 71.2%. Meta-analysis showed that glycosylated hemoglobin >7.5% and with plantar ulcer, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, diabetic peripheral vascular disease, smoking, osteomyelitis, history of amputation/toe amputation, and multidrug-resistant bacterial infection were risk factors for the recurrence of DFU (with odds ratios of 3.27, 3.66, 4.05, 3.94, 1.98, 7.17, 11.96, 3.61, 95% confidence intervals of 2.79-3.84, 2.06-6.50, 2.50-6.58, 2.65-5.84, 1.65-2.38, 2.29-22.47, 4.60-31.14, 3.13-4.17, respectively, P<0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in publication biases of diabetic peripheral neuropathy, diabetic peripheral vascular disease, glycosylated hemoglobin >7.5%, plantar ulcer, smoking, multidrug-resistant bacterial infection, or osteomyelitis ( P>0.05), but there was a statistically significant difference in the publication bias of amputation/toe amputation ( t=-30.39, P<0.05). The area under the ROC curve of the predictive model was 0.81 (with 95% confidence interval of 0.71-0.91) and the maximum Youden index was 0.59, at which the sensitivity was 72% and the specificity was 86%. Ultimately, 29.0% and 44.8% were identified respectively as the cutoff for dividing the probability of low risk and medium risk, and medium risk and high risk for DFU recurrence, while the corresponding total scores of low, medium, and high risks of DFU recurrence were <37, 37-57, and 58-118, respectively. Conclusions:Eight risk factors for DFU recurrence are screened through meta-analysis and the risk prediction model for DFU recurrence is developed, which has moderate predictive accuracy and can provide guidance for healthcare workers to take interventions for patient with DFU recurrence risk.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the practical and health economical values of non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) in Changsha Municipal Public Welfare Program. METHODS: A retrospective analysis was carried out on 149 165 women undergoing NIPT test from April 9, 2018 to December 31, 2019. For pregnant women with high risks, invasive prenatal diagnosis and follow-up of pregnancy outcome were conducted. The cost-benefit of NIPT for Down syndrome was analyzed. RESULTS: NIPT was carried out for 149 165 pregnant women and succeeded in 148 749 cases (99.72%), for which outcome were available in 148 538 (99.86%). 90% of pregnant women from the region accepted the screening with NIPT. 415 (0.27%) were diagnosed as high risk. Among these, 381 (91.81%) accepted amniocentesis, which led to the diagnosis of 212 cases of trisomy 21 (PPV=85.14%), 41 cases with trisomy 18 (PPV=48.81%) and 10 cases with trisomy 13 (PPV=20.83%). The sensitivity and specificity of NIPT for trisomy 21, trisomy 18 and trisomy 13 were (97.70%, 99.98%), (97.62%, 9.97%) and (100%, 99.97%), respectively. In addition, 213 and 30 cases were diagnosed with sex chromosomal aneuploidies (PPV=46.2%) and other autosomal anomalies (PPV=16.57%), respectively. For Down syndrome screening, the cost and benefit of the project was 120.79 million yuan and 1,056.95 million yuan, respectively. The cost-benefit ratio was 1: 8.75, and safety index was 0.0035. CONCLUSION NIPT is a highly accurate screening test for trisomy 21, which was followed by trisomy 18 and sex chromosomal aneuploidies, while it was less accurate for other autosomal aneuploidies. The application of NIPT screening has a high health economical value.

Objective To explore the role of lung dendritic cells (DCs) and Th17/regulatory T cells (Treg) pathway in the pathogenesis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods COPD patients who received lobectomy from Sep.2015 to Mar.2016 in our hospital were enrolled and classified into non-smoking non-COPD group,smoking without COPD group and COPD group.The expression of CD80,chemokine recepter-6 (CCR6),interleukin-17A (IL-17A) and fork-head transcription factor P3 (FoxP3) were detected by immunohistochemistry (IHC) in lung tissue.Mature DCs (mDCs),immature DCs (imDCs),Th17 cells and Treg cells in lung tissue were detected by flow cytometry (FCM) and the correlation between Th17/ Treg cells with lung function was analyzed.Results (1) The expression of CD80 and FoxP3 in COPD group was decreased,while the expression of CCR6 and IL-17A was increased (P＜0.05).(2) The percentage of mDCs and Treg in lung tissue of COPD group was significantly decreased.In contrast,the proportion of imDCs and Th17 cells in COPD group was significantly increased (P＜0.05).(3) The imbalance of Th17/Treg ratio in lung tissue was seen in patients with COPD,suggesting the potential mechanism of Th17 cell-mediated proinflammatory response.(4) The percentage of Th17 cells and Th17/Treg ratio in COPD patients was negatively correlated with forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1) as a percentage of predicted value (FEV1％ pred),forced vital capacity(FVC) as a percentage of predicted value (FVC％ pred),FEV1/FVC.On the other hand,the percentage of Treg cells was positively correlated with FEV1％ pred,FVC％ pred,FEV1/FVC.Conclusions The data in this study demonstrate the maturation disorder of dendritic cells in lung tissue of COPD patients.The imbalance of Th17/Treg ratio suggests that Th17 cell-mediated proinflammatory response may be involved in the pathogenesis of COPD.
