To summarize Professor GAO Shuzhong's clinical experience in treating idiopathic tinnitus with a combination of acupuncture and Chinese meteria medica. It is believed that idiopathic tinnitus is mostly caused by weak lungs and spleen, kidney essence deficiency, liver constraint transforming into fire, and binding constraint of heart qi. Treatment advocates the combination of acupuncture and Chinese meteria medica in clinical practice. Acupuncture treatment mainly focus on the method of opening the orifices by syndrome identification in combination with Ermen (TE 21), Tinggong (SI 19), Tinghui (GB 2), Shenmai (BL 62) to regulate qi and blood, and supporting with Baihui (GV 20), Yintang (EX-HN 3), Taichong (LR 3), and Yanglingquan (GB 34) to soothe the liver, resolve constraint, and calm the mind. Oral administration of Chinese medicinal prescription usually includes modified Yiqi Congming Decoction (益气聪明汤) and Tongqi Powder (通气散), and the external administration of Chinese medicinal prescription can apply self-prescribed Wenqing Powder (温清散) to navel moxibustion.

Objective:To analyzed the chemical components of Black Tartary Buckwheat using Ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole-electrostatic field orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap MS); To further compared the compositional differences under various drying conditions.Methods:UPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap MS was employed to scan 14 samples of Black Tartary Buckwheat in 4 batches, aiming to identify the major chemical components. ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 C18 column (2.1 mm×100 mm, 1.7 μm) was adopted; mobile phase was 0.1% formic acid aqueous solution-acetonitrile solution; flow rate was 0.3 ml/min for gradient elution; HESI-Ⅱ ion source was used to detect negative ions. According to general mass spectroscopy rules and literature, at the same time, Compound Discoverer 3.2 and MSConvert software were used to analyze the data, upload to GNPS network, and finally generate network diagram using Cytocape 3.6.1 software. Results:A total of 134 components were identified in Black Tartary Buckwheat, of which 76 compounds were identified in the negative ion mode, 79 compounds were identified in the positive ion mode, and 21 chemicals were simultaneously identified as positive and negative ions. Based on the similarity cluster analysis of UPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap MS secondary mass spectrometry fragment patterns, a molecular network was established, and the main compounds in Black Tartary Buckwheat were flavonoids, phenolic acids and amino acids, and the results showed that the positive and negative ion modes had similar clustering results. There were certain differences in the content of flavonoids, phenolic acids, and amino acids in Black Tartary Buckwheat under two different drying conditions. Conclusion:The established UPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap MS method enables rapid identification of the main chemical components in Black Tartary Buckwheat, while the constructed molecular network provides a reference framework for further research on its chemical composition. Additionally, the drying conditions are found to exert certain effects on the content of these chemical components.

Objective To analyze the consistency between computer tomography angiography(CTA)and digital subtraction angiography(DSA)in evaluating the global limb anatomic staging system(GLASS)stage of patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia(CLTI).Methods The clinical data of patients with CLTI,who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University of China to receive treatment between January 2017 and December 2020,were retrospectively analyzed.Taking the DSA assessment as the gold standard, the consistency of CTA and DSA in evaluating the GLASS stage of patients with CLTI was analyzed. Results In the assessment of GLASS stage of CLTI,CTA showed strong agreement with DSA.The weighted Kappa coefficient of CTA and DSA for the staging of femoropopliteal segment was 0.798(95%CI=0.722-0.873,P<0.01),and the weighted Kappa coefficient of CTA and DSA for the staging of infrapopliteal artery segment was 0.785(95% CI=0.725-0.845,P<0.0l).For the overall staging of GLASS,the weighted Kappa coefficient of CTA and DSA was 0.832(95% CI=0.752-0.91 1,P<0.01).All the above results indicated that a very strong consistency existed between CTA and DSA in evaluating the GLASS stage of patients with CLTI.Conclusion CTA examination of lower limb can accurately evaluate GLASS score and stage of CLTI patient's target lesions, which is helpful in diagnosing lower extremity arteriosclerosis occlusion disease as well as in assessing the technical difficulty degree of its revascularization operation.(J Intervent Radiol,2024,33:300-303)

Objective:
To investigate the correlation between magnetic resonance imaging-based vertebral bone quality (VBQ) score and screw loosening after dynamic pedicle screw fixation with polyetheretherketone (PEEK) rods, and evaluate its predictive value.
Methods:
A retrospective analysis was conducted on the patients who underwent dynamic pedicle screw fixation with PEEK rods from March 2017 to June 2022. Data on age, sex, body mass index, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia history, long-term smoking, alcohol consumption, VBQ score, L1–4 average Hounsfield unit (HU) value, surgical fixation length, and the lowest instrumented vertebra were collected. Logistic regression analysis was employed to assess the relationship between VBQ score and pedicle screw loosening (PSL).
Results:
A total of 24 patients experienced PSL after surgery (20.5%). PSL group and non-PSL group showed statistical differences in age, number of fixed segments, fixation to the sacrum, L1–4 average HU value, and VBQ score (p < 0.05). The VBQ score in the PSL group was higher than that in the non-PSL group (3.56 ± 0.45 vs. 2.77 ± 0.31, p < 0.001). In logistic regression analysis, VBQ score (odds ratio, 3.425; 95% confidence interval, 1.552–8.279) were identified as independent risk factors for screw loosening. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve for VBQ score predicting PSL was 0.819 (p < 0.05), with the optimal threshold of 3.15 (sensitivity, 83.1%; specificity, 80.5%).
Conclusion
The VBQ score can independently predict postoperative screw loosening in patients undergoing lumbar dynamic pedicle screw fixation with PEEK rods, and its predictive value is comparable to HU value.

Biliary fibrosis (BF) is the result of pathological repair of bile tract injury, characterized by thickening and sclerosis of the bile duct wall and progressive stricture of the lumen, which may ultimately lead to serious adverse outcomes such as biliary obstruction, biliary cirrhosis, liver failure, and hepatobiliary malignancies. Current research describes BF as a pathological feature of certain bile tract diseases, lacking a systematic summary of its etiology, pathophysiology, molecular mechanisms, and treatment. BF is a common but easily neglected disease state in biliary system, which may promote the development and progression of hepatobiliary diseases through abnormal repair mechanism after pathological biliary tract injury. Based on the latest research progress from both domestic and international perspectives, the authors review the concept, clinical manifestation, etiology, pathogenesis, and therapeutic strategies of BF to provide a reference for clinical physicians.
