Objective To explore the impact of the duration of protracted abstinence(PA)treatment on the level of impulsivity among heroin addicts and to analyze the mediating effect of impulsive cognition between abstinence duration and impulsive behavior. Methods Thirty-six heroin addicts undergoing PA treatment(PA group)and forty matched healthy controls(HC)(HC group)were recruited.Demographic information was collected via questionnaires, and impulsive cognition assessments were conducted.Participants completed the GO/NOGO task to collect data on impulsive behavior.Intergroup differences were compared using the independent sample t-test,and multiple linear regression analysis and mediating effect analysis were performed on the PA group. Results The PA group exhibited significantly higher scores on motor impulsivity,non-planning impulsivity, and total impulsivity compared to the HC group.Additionally, the PA group demonstrated significantly increased NOGO error rate during the GO/NOGO task compared to the HC group(P<0.001).Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that abstinence duration had a significant negative impact on total impulsivity and non-planning impulsivity(P<0.001).Mediating effect analysis found a partial mediation effect of total impulsivity between abstinence duration and NOGO error rate(P<0.001).Conclusion The PA treatment has a significant impact on the level of impulsivity among heroin addicts.Impulsive cognition play a partial mediating role between abstinence duration and impulsive behavior. These results provide an important theoretical and practical basis for optimizing PA treatment programs.

Objective:To understand the status of bone health literacy in middle-aged and older female breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and analyze its influencing factors using structural equation modeling. Methods:A convenience sampling method was used to select 250 middle-aged and older breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in two tertiary hospitals in Xi'an from May to October 2024. Patients were surveyed using a general information questionnaire, the Bone Health Literacy Scale for Middle-Aged and Older Women, the Perceived Social Support Scale, and the General Self-Efficacy Scale. Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the correlations among bone health literacy, perceived social support, and self-efficacy.Results:A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed, and 239 valid questionnaires were recovered, yielding an effective response rate of 95.6% (239/250). The mean score of the Bone Health Literacy Scale among the 239 patients was (39.71±8.16). Bone health literacy was positively correlated with perceived social support and self-efficacy ( P<0.01). Perceived social support directly affected bone health literacy and could also indirectly influence it through general self-efficacy, with an indirect effect value of 0.367, accounting for 45.2% of the total effect (0.367/0.812) . Conclusions:Healthcare professionals should implement effective interventions to enhance patients' perceived social support and strengthen their self-efficacy, thereby improving bone health literacy.

Objective:To explore the feasibility of measuring the angle of progress(AOP)and the fetal head-perineum distance(HPD)by ultrasound to predict the duration of the second stage of labor. Methods:A to-tal of 135 full-term singleton primiparas who gave birth through vagina in Shandong Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong First Medical University from September 2022 to June 2024 were selected. They all received medication for labor analgesia during labor, and the fetal position was determined as occipital anterior position by ultrasound when the cervix was fully dilated.AOP and HPD were measured during the contraction interval. All parturients were divided into group A(duration of the second stage of labor≤60 min),group B(60 min<duration of the sec-ond stage of labor≤120 min)and group C(duration of the second stage of labor>120 min). The differences of AOP and HPD among these groups were compared, and their predictive efficacy for vaginal delivery within 60min and 120min was evaluated.Results:①The AOP in group A was higher than that in group B.The HPD in group A was lower than that in group B.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The AOP in group B was higher than that in group C.The HPD in group B was lower than that in group C.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).②The area under the ROC curve for AOP and HPD to predict a vaginal delivery within 60 min was 0.872 and 0.914,and the optimal cut-off value was 126.25°and 4.52 cm,respectively(P<0.01).③The area under the ROC curve for AOP and HPD to predict a vaginal delivery within 120 min was 0.901 and 0.801,and the optimal cut-off value was 116.40°and 4.69 cm,respectively(P<0.01).Conclusions:It is feasible to pre-dict the duration of the second stage of labor duration by measuring AOP and HPD using intrapartum ultrasound.

Schizophrenia is a common, severe, and complex psychiatric disorder worldwide. Genetic factors account for around 80% of the etiology of schizophrenia, yet objective diagnostic biomarkers remain lacking. This article reports two cases of female monozygotic twins diagnosed with schizophrenia, exhibiting a balanced translocation between 22q11.2 and 4p15.3. Reviewing the literature, we analyze and discuss the correlation between chromosomal balanced translocation regions and the pathogenesis of mental disorders. This aims to encourage psychiatrists to consider new perspectives on the diagnosis of schizophrenia.

Objective:To explore the method for selecting characteristic prices of Chinese patent medicines based on informa-tion entropy theory. It involves analyzing the connotative differences among various price indicators and utilizing information entropy metrics to validate the scientific rigor of characteristic price selection so as to optimize the pricing model for Chinese patent medi-cines and improve the accuracy of price evaluation. Methods:A correlation analysis and information entropy calculation are con-ducted on the median price of the smallest preparation unit, average daily cost, and average course cost of TCM.It compares the information diversity and uncertainty of different pricing indicators. Results:The average daily cost exhibits the highest information diversity and uncertainty among all the pricing indicators examined. Conclusion:It is recommended that the average daily cost be used as the dependent variable for characteristic prices in TCM pricing research. This choice plays an important role in optimizing TCM pricing models and enhancing the accuracy of price evaluation.

Objective:To establish a scientific, systematic, and objective indicator system for the characteristic price variables of Traditional Chinese Patent Medicines(TCPM),providing a reference framework for the pricing mechanism of TCPM.Methods:The brainstorming method was initially used to screen related variable indicators. The Nominal Group Technique(NGT)and Delphi methods were applied to gather expert opinions, and SPSS 28.0 was employed for data statistical analysis. It led to the development of a TCPM characteristic price variable indicator system consisting of 6 dimensions,14 characteristic variables and 26 measurement indicators. Results:The authority coefficient of the experts exceeded 0.7,indicating the representativeness of the results.Expert opinions were generally concentrated.Based on the collected opinions and statistical analysis, the scope of selected TCPM characteristic price variables was preliminarily established. Conclusion:The TCPM characteristic price variable indicator system was initially developed. However, due to the complexity of the pricing mechanism and divergent expert opinions, further qualitative and quantitative research methods, along with a dynamic adjustment mechanism, are needed to verify and refine the system.

The National Essential Medicines System could protect public health and ensure access to essential medications.Although the current selection methods for China's National Essential Medicines Lists(NEMLs)are becoming more scientific and standardized, there are still problems such as much emphasis on expert experience and the lack of transparency of decision-making basis. To address these issues,it proposes an evidence-based decision-making pathway for NEMLs selection guided by clinical value. This approach ensures a strong integration of evidence and decision-making,offering valuable insights for improving the adjustment procedures and selection criteria of the NEMLs in China.
