[Purpose]To analyze cancer incidence and mortality in Liaoning cancer registration areas from 2016 to 2020 and the trends from 2006 to 2020.[Methods]Cancer data in cancer registra-tion areas in Liaoning Province from 2016 to 2020 were collected.The incidence and mortality,age-standardized rate,cumulative rate(0～74 years old),and age-specific rate were calculated.Age-standardized incidence and mortality rate were calculated by the Chinese standard popula-tion(ASIRC,ASMRC)and Segi world standard population(ASIRW,ASMRW).Joinpoint software was applied to analyze the trends of incidence and mortality.[Results]From 2016 to 2020,the crude incidence rate of cancer in Liaoning cancer registration areas was 422.30/105,the ASIRC and ASIRW were 215.67/105 and 209.52/105.The ASIRC was higher in urban areas(225.00/105)than that in rural areas(190.15/105),and higher in male(221.47/105)than that in female(213.03/105).The crude mortality rate was 254.22/105,the ASMRC and ASMRW were 113.26/105 and 112.91/105.The ASMRC in urban areas(113.12/105)was the same as that in rural areas(113.01/105),and higher in male(146.86/105)than that in female(83.46/105).The ASIRW of lung cancer was 46.13/105,and the ASMRW was 32.04/105,both ranking the first of all cancers.From 2006 to 2020,the crude incidence,ASIRC and ASIRW in urban areas showed an increasing trend(AAPC=3.921％,t=16.222,P＜0.05;AAPC=0.823％,t=2.409,P＜0.05;AAPC=0.875％,t=2.933,P＜0.05).The crude incidence,ASIRC and ASIRW in urban female were all rising(AAPC=4.151％,t=15.888,P＜0.05;AAPC=1.597％,t=4.819,P＜0.05;AAPC=1.514％,t=4.752,P＜0.05).During the same period,the cancer mortality in urban areas showed an increasing trend(AAPC=3.175％,t=14.745,P＜0.05),and the ASMRW showed a decreasing trend(AAPC=-0.908％,t=-2.273,P＜0.05).The crude mor-tality of both men and women showed an increasing trend(AAPC=3.010％,t=6.032,P＜0.05;AAPC=2.820％,t=5.921,P＜0.05),while the crude mortality and ASMRW for female showed a significant downward trend(AAPC=-1.487％,t=-2.437,P＜0.05;AAPC=-2.680％,t=-2.246,P＜0.05).From 2016 to 2020,the crude incidence,ASIRC and ASIRW in rural areas showed no significant change;however,the crude incidence in male was increasing(AAPC=2.025％,t=3.853,P＜0.05).In the same period,the crude mortality rate in rural areas increased(AAPC=3.577％,t=9.377,P＜0.05),while there was no significant change in the ASMRC and ASMRW.The crude mortality of both men and women showed an increasing trend(AAPC=3.377％,t=10.615,P＜0.05;AAPC=3.978％,t=7.245,P＜0.05),while there was no significant change in ASMRC and ASMRW.[Conclusion]The cancer burden in Liaoning from 2016 to 2020 was higher than the average level in China,can-cer prevention and control should be further strengthened in the provice.

Objective:To analyze the status of social support and the influencing factors of support utilization among general practitioners.Methods:An investigation on the status of social support and the influencing factors of support utilization was conducted among general practitioners (GPs) from 6 communities in Shanghai Minhang District selected by simple sampling method in February 2023. The investigation included a questionnaire survey containing basic information and intervention measures (emotional support, information support, tool support); and assessments of the Social Support Rate Scale (SSRS), Perceived Social Support Scale, General Self-Efficacy Scale, Quality of Work Life Scale, Trait Coping Style Scale, and Psychological Resilience Scale. The association of social support status with various characteristics of GPs and their perceived social support and trait coping style was analyzed, and the influencing factors of social support utilization were determined.Results:A total of 184 questionnaires were distributed and 184 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective recovery rate of 100.00%. Among the 184 participants, 55 (29.89%) had a general level of social support, and 129 (70.11%) were satisfied with their social support. The total score of SSRS was (37.49±8.41), with the objective support dimension scoring (9.67±3.42), subjective support scoring (20.04±4.52), and support utilization scoring (7.77±2.09). Univariate analysis showed significant differences in social support levels among respondents with different marital status, number of children, emotional support, informational support, instrumental support, positive coping, negative coping, psychological resilience, compassion fatigue, general self-efficacy, and perceived social support status ( P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that marital status, family support, professional skills, positive coping, and negative coping were independent influencing factors of social support. Among these factors, being married, having family care support, professional titles and skills and positive coping had a positive impact on social support levels, while negative coping had a negative impact ( P<0.05). Further stepwise multiple linear regression analysis showed that friend support, positive coping and family care were positive influencing factors for support utilization, while negative coping was a negative influencing factor ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The levels of social support among GPs in Minghang district of Shanghai are relatively high. Marital status, family support, professional title and skills and positive coping are positive factors for social support; and friend support, positive coping and family support are positive factors for support utilization.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of blepharoplasty using the "double-line technique" in addressing upper eyelid skin laxity in middle-aged and elderly patients.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of middle-aged and elderly patients with moderate to severe upper eyelid skin laxity who were admitted to the Plastic Surgery Department of Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital between January 2020 and January 2023. The same surgeon performed the "double-line" blepharoplasty to excise excess upper eyelid skin for laxity correction. Patients were positioned flat with their eyes closed; an arcuate line a (5-7 mm above the pupil) and a second line b (aligned with the eyelid margin in an upright position) were marked. The skin between these two lines was excised. Postoperatively, the double eyelid shape, improvement in skin laxity, adverse reactions, and patient satisfaction (categorized as satisfied, basically satisfied, unsatisfied) were assessed.Results:A total of 145 patients were included in the study, comprising 27 males and 118 females. Their ages ranged from 38 to 78 years, with an average age of 52 years. All patients’ incisions healed primarily without complications such as hematoma and infection. During the 3 to 12 months of follow-up after surgery, the double eyelid arcs on both sides appeared symmetrical and natural. The upper eyelid laxity was effectively corrected, obscured vision was improved, crow’s feet were reduced, and the periorbital area was rejuvenated. Patient satisfaction with the surgical results was high, with 112 patients reporting satisfaction, 25 reporting basically satisfied, and 8 reporting dissatisfaction. The overall satisfaction rate reached 94.48%(137/145). Among those dissatisfied, 6 cases cited the double eyelid crease as being too narrow, and 2 cases noted asymmetry in the double eyelid crease.Conclusion:The "double-line method" for blepharoplasty is straightforward to perform and effectively removes excess upper eyelid skin. It is suitable for middle-aged and elderly patients with moderate to severe upper eyelid skin laxity, resulting in favorable surgical outcomes.

Objective:To investigate the effect of CT-derived fractional flow reserve (CT-FFR) measurement sites on the values and the diagnostic performance, and to determine the optimal measurement site for CT-FFR using invasive FFR as the reference standard.Methods:This study was part of the CT-FFR CHINA clinical trial. Patients with suspected coronary artery disease who were scheduled for invasive coronary angiography (ICA) were prospectively recruited from five clinical centers across the country from November 2018 to March 2020. Each enrolled patient underwent coronary CT angiography (CCTA), CT-FFR, ICA, and invasive pressure wire-based FFR assessments sequentially within one week. Four groups of CT-FFR values were obtained on each enrolled target vessels according to different CT-FFR measurement locations: 1, 2, 3 cm distal to the target lesion, and terminal vessel groups. Spearman and Bland-Altman analyses were used to explore the correlation and consistency of CT-FFR values and FFR values at different measurement sites. The measurement deviation of CT-FFR was also compared. Diagnostic accuracy and performance of CT-FFR, including sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), in discriminating myocardial ischemia were analyzed across all measurement site groups on a per-vessel level, using FFR as the reference standard.Results:A total of 289 patients with 345 target lesion vessels were included. According to CCTA, there were 51 target vessels (14.8%) with<50% stenosis, 106 vessels (30.7%) with 50%-69% stenosis, and 188 vessels (54.5%) with stenosis≥70%. At per-vessel level, CT-FFR and FFR values at each measurement position group were highly positively correlated: 1 cm distal to target lesion group, r=0.734 ( P<0.001); 2 cm distal to target lesion group, r=0.732 ( P<0.001); 3 cm distal to target lesion group, r=0.737 ( P<0.001); terminal vessel group was 0.719 ( P<0.001). At per-vessel level, CT-FFR and FFR values of all measurement sites were in good agreement (Bland-Altman analysis results): 1 cm distal to target lesion group, 0.014 (95% LoA 0.002-0.026); 2 cm distal to target lesion group, 0.026 (95% LoA 0.015-0.038); 3 cm distal to target lesion group, 0.040 (95% LoA 0.039-0.051); terminal vessel group, 0.075 (95% LoA 0.064-0.087). And at per-vessel level, the accuracy of diagnosing myocardial ischemia with CT-FFR at 1 cm was highest [84.6% (95% CI 80.4%-88.3%)], and the lowest accuracy in the terminal vessel group [67.0% (95% CI 61.7%-72.0%)]. However, there was no significant difference in the diagnostic accuracy of CT-FFR at 1 cm, 2 cm [80.6% (95% CI 76.1%-84.6%)] and 3 cm [77.5% (95% CI 72.6%-81.7%)]. AUC of CT-FFR at 1 cm distal to the lesion were both highest for global level and moderately stenosis (50%-69%) lesions [0.85 (95% CI 0.81-0.89), 0.84 (95% CI 0.77-0.90)]. And the differences were statistically significant among the four measurement location groups (all P<0.05). Conclusions:The deviation of CT-FFR increases with measurement site distance distal to target lesions. One centimeter distal to the target lesion is the optimal measurement site, and the CT-FFR value here shows the highest diagnostic performance for myocardial ischemic lesions, especially for moderate stenosis.

Objective:To investigate influence of Gegen Qinlian Decoction(GQD)on anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidative stress activities and related pathways in rats with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH),and to clarify its mechanism.Methods:NASH rat model was established with methionine choline deficiency feed,and blank group,model group,positive group and different doses of GQD administration groups were set.By analyzing rat serum inflammation indicators,liver tissue antioxidant capacity indicators,liver tissue pathological sections,and combined with Western blot and RT-qPCR technology,anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative stress mechanism of GQD on NASH rats were finally clarified.Results:Each dose of GQD could significantly reduce serum levels of IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,IFN-α and IFN-β in NASH model rats.GQD medium and high doses groups were statistically significant compared with model group and positive group;each dose of GQD could significantly reduce contents of ALT,AST and MDA in liver tissue of NASH rats,and significantly increase SOD,GPX,T-AOC contents at the same time;Western blot and RT-qPCR results showed that GQD could significantly reduce expressions of PI3K,AKT,p-FOXO1 protein and mRNA in liver tissue of NASH model,significantly increase expressions of FOXO1,SIRT1,Catalase protein and mRNA,and compared with positive group at high doses,it was also statistically significant.Conclusion:GQD can treat NASH by regulating PI3K/AKT/FOXO1 signaling pathway and exerting anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative stress effects.

Objective The aim of this study was to analyze the incidence and mortality of lymphoma and their changing trends in cancer registration areas of Liaoning Province from 2016 to 2020,and to provide data support for lymphoma prevention and treatment.Methods The data of tumor registration areas in Liaoning province from 2016 to 2020 were collected and sorted out,and the crude incidence,mortality,China standardized incidence and mortality,world standardized incidence and mortality,and cumulative rate of lymphoma were calculated;Joinpoint 5.0.2 software was used to analyze the changing trends of the above indicators from 2016 to 2020.Results From 2016 to 2020,the crude incidence of lymphoma in tumor registration areas of Liaoning Province was 7.43/100,000,age-standardized incidence by Chinese standard population(ASIRC)was 4.07/100,000,and age-standardized incidence by world standard population(ASIRW)was 3.95/100,000;the crude mortality was 4.29/100,000,age-standardized mortality by Chi-nese standard population(ASMRC)was 2.07/100,000,and age-standardized mortality by world standard population(ASMRW)was 2.02/100,000.The ASIRC and ASMRC were higher in males(4.62/100,000 and 2.53/100,000,respectively)than in females(3.56/100,000 and 1.61/100,000,respectively),also higher in urban areas(4.65/100,000 and 2.32/100,000,respectively)than in rural areas(2.46/100,000 and 1.65/100,000,respectively).The incidence and mortality of lymphoma increased with age.The in-cidence reached its peak in the 70-79 age group,and the mortality reached its peak in the 80+age group.From 2016 to 2020,the crude incidence of lymphoma increased from 6.86/100,000 to 8.22/100,000,with a statistically significant trend(APC=5.06％,95％CI;1.13％-9.14％,P=0.026).ASIRC increased from 4.01/100,000 to 4.45/100,000,with no statistical significance(P＞0.05).The crude mortality increased from 3.85/100,000 to 4.53/100,000,while ASMRC decreased from 2.02/100,000 to 2.01/100,000,with no statistically significant trend in the two changes(P＞0.05).Conclusions The incidence and mortality of lymphoma in cancer registration areas of Liaoning Province are higher in men than those of women,and higher in cities than those in rural areas,and reach the peak in the elderly group.The prevention and control of key populations and health management should be strength-ened,especially pay attention to the health needs of the elderly population,and explore possible directions for multidisciplinary collab-orative diagnosis and treatment to reduce the disease burden.

Objective To analyze the CT manifestations of high altitude pulmonary edema(HAPE)to provide radiological evidence for its early and accurate diagnosis.Methods Totally 200 HAPE patients clinically confirmed at some hospital from April 2021 to April 2024 were enrolled into a study group,and 56 individuals undergoing health examinations at the hospital's physical examination center between January and June 2023 were included into a control group.Examinations were carried out with a United Imaging uCT528 40-slice spiral CT scanner.The patients in the study group were observed in terms of HAPE staging,the extent of pulmonary involvement,CT manifestations of different stages including location,distribution,density and morphology of pulmonary lesion.The diameters of the main pulmonary arteries and ascending aortas of the subjects in the two groups were measured,and the ratios of the two diameters were calculated.SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results In the study group,there were 26 cases(13.0%)at early stage,105 ones at progression stage(52.5%),32 ones at critical outbreak stage(16.0%)and 37 ones at resolution and absorption stage(18.5%),and there were 35.5%with unilateral lung involvement and 64.5%with bilateral involvement.At early stage,HAPE chest CT manifestations included increased and thickened bilateral bronchovascular bundles,widened main pulmonary artery lumen and faint ground-glass opacity in lungs;at progression stage,HAPE chest CT manifestations revealed multiple cloud-like or patchy areas of increased density within lungs;at critical outbreak stage,CT scanning indicated diffuse patchy opacities and consolidation in lungs,white lung-like changes could be found in some severe cases,and bronchial air signs were shown within affected segments in some ones with severer signs in the right lung than in the left lung;at resolution and absorption stage the CT manifestations were similar to those at early stage,with lesions completely resolving after treatment.The study group had the diameters of the main pulmonary arteries greater while the diameters of the ascending aortas less than those of the control group,and the ratios of the diameters of the two diameters in the study group were higher than those in the control group,with the differences being statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Chest CT is an important examination method for the early diagnosis of HAPE and clarification of its clinical staging,which directly reflects the pulmonary pathological changes in HAPE patients and helps doctors fully understand the disease progression.

Objective To explore the effect of evening primrose oil(EPO)on aortic endothelial damage in rats with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),using network pharmacology and in vivo experiments.Methods The potential targets of EPO for improving aortic endothelial injury in PCOS rats were predicted by network pharmacology,and the selected core targets and renin-angiotensin signaling(RAS)pathway were verified by experiments.Fifty-eight female SD rats were divided randomly into a blank group(n=10)and a modeling group(n=48).Rats in the blank group were fed a normal diet and rats in the modeling group received a high-fat diet for 8 weeks.The PCOS model was prepared at week 6 by administration of letrozole(1 mg/(kg·d))for 21 days.Blood was taken from the tail vein after modeling and serum was collected to detect hormone levels.The model rats were then divided randomly into four groups and treated with the corresponding drugs for 6 weeks.Blood,blood vessels,and ovaries were then collected.Tissue morphology was examined by hematoxylin and eosin staining and serum levels of luteinizing hormone(LH),testosterone(T),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),endothelin(ET-1),and tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α)were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Serum levels of nitric oxide(NO)were determined by spectrophotometry.Protein expression levels of core targets and RAS pathway-related factors were assessed by western blotting and immunohistochemistry.Results Twenty-five intersection targets of EPO and PCOS were identified by network pharmacological analysis.Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes analysis showed that EPO improved vascular injury in PCOS rats via multiple pathways,including RAS.Serum levels of ET-1,FSH,LH,and T measured by ELISA were significantly decreased after EPO treatment,compared with the model group(P＜0.01).EPO significantly decreased the expression levels of Ang Ⅰ,VEGF-B,AT2R,ET-1,and TNF-α proteins in the aorta(P＜0.01)and significantly increased expression levels of Ang Ⅱ,CD31,and endothelial NO synthase proteins(P＜0.01).Conclusions EPO may ameliorate vascular endothelial injury in PCOS model rats by inhibiting the RAS signaling pathway and by overactivation of the ACE/Ang Ⅱ/AT1 axis.

Objective:To investigate the clinical features and multi-slice spiral computed tomography(CT)imaging features of acute appendicitis in soldiers who have been living in plateau for a long time.Methods:The clinical features and imaging data of 56 cases of acute appendicitis in soldiers who have been living in plateau for a long time confirmed by surgery from February 2022 to August 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.Results:In 56 cases with acute appendicitis in soldiers who have been living in plateau for a long time,the appendectomy position results showed:anterior ileum 4 cases(7.14％),lower ileum 10 cases(17.86％),posterior cecum 16 cases(28.57％),lower cecum 9 cases(16.07％),lateral cecum 2 cases(3.58％),posterior ileum 6 cases(10.71％),high(subhepatic)9 cases(16.07％),and left lower abdominal 0 cases,retroperitoneal appendicitis 0 cases,which was suggested that the anatomical position variation of appendicitis in soldiers with acute appendicitis who have been living at high altitude for a long time was relatively large.The direct manifestations of multi-slice spiral CT showed:appendectomy enlarged diameter＞6 mm in 49 cases(87.50％),appendicular wall thickening＞2 mm in 42 cases(75.00％),ppendiceal dilation lumen and effusion in 29 cases(51.79％),appendix indistinctness in 3 cases(5.36％),lppendix fecalith:27 cases(48.21％),gas in the appendix in 16 cases(28.57％).Indirect findings of multi-slice spiral CT showed that,periappendiceal exudation with shadow in 32 cases(57.14％),appendiceal cellulitis with peripheral abscess in 9 cases(16.07％),peritonitis and ascites in 13 cases(23.21％),ileocecal intestinal wall thickening in 22 cases(39.29％),mesenteric lymph node enlargement in 16 cases(28.57％),reflexive intestinal stasis in ileocecal region was observed in 19 cases(33.93％).Conclusion:In the officers and soldiers with acute appendicitis who lived at high altitude for a long time,multi-slice spiral CT showed the direct manifestations of appendiceal thickening,tube wall thickening,lumen dilatation,fluid accumulation,etc.,and the indirect manifestations were periappendiceal exudation with shadow,appendiceal cellulitis with peripheral abscess,ileocecal intestinal wall thickening,reflexes of small intestine and mesenteric lymph node enlargement.Multi-slice spiral CT has the advantages of clear and intuitive,high safety,high resolution and simple operation in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.
