Modern Hospital 2025;25(1):104-107,116
Strengthening the management of large-scale medical equipment records is of great significance for optimizing the allocation of medical equipment resources, enhancing the social and economic benefits of medical equipment, and effectively promoting the high-quality development of public hospitals. This paper systematically analyzes the current status of record man-agement in public hospitals, focusing on the problems in the construction of medical equipment records management, including insufficient attention, inadequate implementation of systems, low level of informatization, and underutilization of record functions. To address these issues, the authors propose improving institutional construction, establishing evaluation mechanisms, promoting information construction, fully realizing the value of records, and strengthening talent training to assist in the management of med-ical equipment records. This will effectively prevent and control risks related to medical quality, integrity, and economic opera-tion of large-scale medical equipment, enhance the service efficiency of public hospitals, and promote their high-quality develop-ment.

Objective This study aims to explore the collaborative governance model of medical and elderly care integra-tion to promote the participation of medical institutions in integrated services and provide policy recommendations. Methods Based on the perspective of welfare pluralism, combined with the practical experience of an A hospital-managed nursing home in Guangzhou, the roles of different welfare subjects such as the government, market, community, and family in the medical and elderly care integration service system were discussed. Results The integration of medical and elderly care faces issues such as inadequate government guarantees in terms of space and medical insurance, insufficient vitality of social capital participating in medical and elderly care integration in the market, weak linkage between integrated care institutions and community organizations, and heavy burden on elderly families in accessing integrated services. Conclusion The government should improve top-level insti-tutional design, the market needs to optimize the supply of medical and elderly care integration services, the community should play a pivotal role as a platform, and families should create a supportive environment for respecting and caring for the elderly.
4.Comparative study on legislative measures for incentivizing supply of orphan drugs and its implications
Modern Hospital 2025;25(1):8-14
Orphan drugs face the challenge of being unavailable for a long time due to their high investment and low re-turn.In response, the United States,European Union, and some countries and regions in Asia have implemented various incen-tive measures(including financial and non-financial incentives)for the supply of orphan drugs, achieving significant results.China has also introduced corresponding measures for the supply of orphan drugs, but compared to countries and regions such as Europe and the United States, the incentives are insufficient.China should further learn from international experiences, define criteria for identifying orphan drugs,adopt"dual-track"incentive measures to promote the supply of orphan drugs, and also take preventive measures in price regulation and risk control to mitigate any negative effects associated with the supply of orphan drugs.

Objective This study aims to explore the characteristics and weight loss motivations of patients in the medi-cal nutrition weight loss clinic of a hospital in Ningxia. Methods This study is a cross-sectional study.Patients who visited the medical weight loss clinic at Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People's Hospital from April to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects.A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect patients'demographic information, lifestyle, weight loss ex-periences,and motivations. The characteristics of weight loss patients were analyzed.Furthermore, the patients were divided into two groups, improvement of health group and improvement of body shape group, based on their weight loss motivations,in order to study the characteristics of different motivational groups. Results A total of 160 subjects were included in the study, with 97 females(60.6%)and 63 males(39.4%).The average age was 29.66±11.89 years, weight was 89.11±16.54 kg,and BM1 was 31.15±4.44 kg/m2.Most patients had comorbidities, with fatty liver being the most common(57.5%),followed by hype-ruricemia(30.6%)and hyperlipidemia(23.8%).Common problems among patients included unhealthy dietary habits, lack of physical activity, and irregular sleep patterns.72.5%of patients had attempted weight loss multiple times, and among different weight loss methods, combined interventions had a higher effectiveness rate, but rebound rates were generally high.In terms of weight loss motivations,81 patients aimed to improve health, while 79 aimed to improve body shape. There were statistically sig-nificant differences(P<0.05)between the two groups in terms of age, education level, occupation, duration of obesity, and medical history. Conclusion Patients in the medical nutrition weight loss clinic often have comorbidities and have experienced multiple weight loss attempts and weight rebounds.Motivational interviews help patients recognize the dangers of obesity,estab-lish a belief in health, and promote the formation of a healthy lifestyle.

Modern Hospital 2025;25(1):151-154
Objective This study aims to analyze the application and effect of a competency-based blended teaching model in obstetrics and gynecology education. Methods The study included 90 interns undergoing training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Zhongshan Torch Development Zone People's Hospital from March 2023 to July 2024.The partici-pants were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group received traditional teaching methods, while the observation group received a competency-based blended teaching model. The teaching effects were compared between the two groups. Results At the end of the rotation, both groups showed varying degrees of improvement in theoretical examination scores, practical skills scores, and CTDI-CV scores. The observation group showed significantly greater improvement compared to the control group(P<0.05).At the end of the rotation, the scores of clinical basic competency, teamwork ability, and other dimensions of the Student Job Competency Evaluation Scale were significantly higher in the observation group compared to the control group(P<0.05).The differences were statistically significant. Conclusion The application of a competency-based blended teaching model in obstetrics and gynecology education has significant effects, improving teaching quality and enab-ling medical students to achieve better assessment results. It also enhances critical thinking skills and job competency. This mod-el has high value for promotion and application.
8.Research on the innovation and optimization of long-term talent introduction mechanism and improve-ment of talent evaluation system in public hospitals
Modern Hospital 2025;25(1):117-120
Objective To understand the talent needs in public hospitals and provide a scientific theoretical basis for the development and implementation of talent introduction plans. Methods A self-designed questionnaire on talent needs in public hospitals and an outline for expert interviews were used in this study, employing a combination of questionnaire surveys and expert interviews. Results The demand for full-time research personnel accounted for 78.1%,and 83.6%of departments preferred full-time recruitment.Approximately 50%of talents were expected to be recruited from both domestic and overseas sources, with 65.3%being under the age of 45.The top three support expectations from hospitals were salary benefits, mentor qualifications, and senior professional titles. In terms of talent needs for key construction projects in hospitals,44.4%were for leading talents,27.8%for platform leaders, and 55.6%for full-time overseas talents. There were significant differences in talent categories,po-sitions,and recruitment methods for key construction projects(P<0.001).Differences were also observed in the types of posi-tions,recruitment methods, and recruitment channels among different departments in hospitals(P<0.05).There were signifi-cant differences in recruitment channels(P<0.001).Conclusion The pattern of global high-level talent aggregation has not yet formed, and talent recruitment should be implemented with the help of the"Two Plans and One Platform"initiative. The role of national platform bases in talent attraction should be strengthened, and talent recruitment channels should be expanded to create a conducive environment for talent attraction. The support system for talent recruitment should be improved to increase the success rate of talent introduction. It is necessary to innovate and optimize the long-term talent introduction mechanism and improve the talent evaluation system.
