Objective: To explore the latent profiles of psychological help seeking intentions among adolescents in Wuhan, and to investigate their association with non suicidal self injury (NSSI), in order to provide a theoretical basis for constructing an early intervention system for adolescents NSSI. Methods: From October to December 2022, a convenient sampling method was used to select 3 975 students from grades 7 to 12 in Wuhan. A self administered questionnaire assessed psychological help seeking intentions, followed by a post survey interview using the Ottawa Self injury Inventory to evaluate NSSI behaviors. Latent profile analysis(LPA) was used to explore the potential categories of help seeking intentions in adolescents. Multinomial Logistic regression was used to analyze factors associated with the latent profiles of help seeking intentions and multiple Logistic regression was used to analyze the association between latent profiles of help seeking intentions and NSSI. Results: Based on latent profile analysis, four latent profiles of help seeking intentions in adolescents were identified, namely overall low, moderate, and high help seeking group, as well as family/friendfocused help seeking group, accouting for 14.1%, 20.9%, 43.1% and 21.8%, respectively. Multinomial Logistic regression analysis showed that compared to senior high school students, junior high school students were more willing to seek help from family and friends ( OR =1.56); compared to males, females were more likely to exhibit moderate help seeking intentions( OR =1.37); students with extroverted or balanced personalities were more likely to exhibit high level help seeking intentions( OR =1.50, 1.49); students with average or good family economic status, better parental relationships, and adequate mental health knowledge were more likely to exhibit moderate and high level help seeking intentions( OR =1.59, 2.02; 1.80, 2.64; 1.44, 1.55; 1.34, 1.58) (all P <0.05). Students with moderate or severe family dysfunction were less likely to seek help from family and friends or to exhibit moderate and high level help seeking intentions( OR =0.51, 0.60, 0.25; 0.22, 0.27, 0.06, all P <0.01). Students whose parents exhibited stigma towards mental illness were less likely to show high level help seeking intentions( OR= 0.78 , P <0.05). Multivariable Logistic regression analysis results indicated that compared to the overall low help seeking intentions group, reduced risk of NSSI was observed among students in the overall moderate and overall high groups, as well as in the family/friend focused help seeking group( OR =0.73, 0.60, 0.70, all P <0.05). Conclusions Active psychological help seeking intentions can reduce NSSI behaviors in adolescents. Interventions should focus on improving family support environment to enhance adolescents intentions to seek psychological help.

Severe acute pancreatitis （SAP） is closely related to dysfunction of the spleen-stomach ascent and descent. Due to the influence of modern lifestyle and dietary factors， Qi deficiency in the spleen and stomach has become the pathological basis of SAP. Its pathogenesis is characterized by dampness， heat， pathogenic factors， stasis， stagnation， obstruction， Fu-organs Qi obstruction， pathogenic excess， and healthy Qi deficiency. At different stages of the disease course of SAP， there is a focus on both pathogenic excess and healthy Qi deficiency. It is specifically manifested as Fu-organs stagnation and heat accumulation， as well as pathogenic excess and healthy Qi deficiency， during the systemic inflammatory response phase， intermingling of blood stasis and pathogenic factors， as well as Qi deficiency and blood stasis， during the infection period， and weakness of the spleen and stomach， as well as healthy Qi deficiency and lingering pathogenic factors， during the residual infection period. Based on the theory that "the spleen and stomach are the acquired foundation"， a staged treatment method centered on the core principle of "strengthening healthy Qi to eliminate pathogenic factors" was developed. The staged treatment method included "clearing the Fu-organs to expel turbidity， replenishing Qi to harmonize the stomach， activating blood circulation to expel pathogenic factors， replenishing Qi to relieve pain， promoting digestion to stimulate appetite， and replenishing Qi to invigorate the spleen". In clinical practice， Hewei Tongxie mixture， Yikang mixture， and Shiwei Jianpi Xiaoshi powder were selected for staged treatment of SAP. This article systematically summarized the theoretical basis of traditional Chinese medicine， Western medicine foundation， modern pharmacological mechanisms， and clinical application experience of the staged treatment of SAP with "strengthening the healthy Qi to eliminate pathogenic factors"， providing new ideas for the treatment of SAP with traditional Chinese medicine.

BACKGROUND: Temozolomide (TMZ) resistance is a significant challenge in treating glioblastoma (GBM). Collagen remodeling has been shown to be a critical factor for therapy resistance in other cancers. This study aimed to investigate the mechanism of TMZ chemoresistance by GBM cells reprogramming collagens. METHODS: Key extracellular matrix components, including collagens, were examined in paired primary and recurrent GBM samples as well as in TMZ-treated spontaneous and grafted GBM murine models. Human GBM cell lines (U251, TS667) and mouse primary GBM cells were used for in vitro studies. RNA-sequencing analysis, chromatin immunoprecipitation, immunoprecipitation-mass spectrometry, and co-immunoprecipitation assays were conducted to explore the mechanisms involved in collagen accumulation. A series of in vitro and in vivo experiments were designed to assess the role of the collagen regulators prolyl 4-hydroxylase subunit alpha 1 (P4HA1) and yes-associated protein (YAP) in sensitizing GBM cells to TMZ. RESULTS: This study revealed that TMZ exposure significantly elevated collagen type I (COL I) expression in both GBM patients and murine models. Collagen accumulation sustained GBM cell survival under TMZ-induced stress, contributing to enhanced TMZ resistance. Mechanistically, P4HA1 directly binded to and hydroxylated YAP, preventing ubiquitination-mediated YAP degradation. Stabilized YAP robustly drove collagen type I alpha 1 ( COL1A1) transcription, leading to increased collagen deposition. Disruption of the P4HA1-YAP axis effectively reduced COL I deposition, sensitized GBM cells to TMZ, and significantly improved mouse survival. CONCLUSION P4HA1 maintained YAP-mediated COL1A1 transcription, leading to collagen accumulation and promoting chemoresistance in GBM.

Methods: COronary BIfurcation Stenting III (COBIS III) is a multicenter, real-world registry of 2,648 patients with bifurcation lesions treated with second-generation drug-eluting stents.We compared the angiographic and procedural characteristics and clinical outcomes based on sex. The primary outcome was 5-year target lesion failure (TLF), a composite of cardiac death, myocardial infarction, and target lesion revascularization. Results: Women (n=635, 24%) were older, had hypertension and diabetes more often, and had smaller main vessel and side branch reference diameters than men. The pre- and post-PCI angiographic percentage diameter stenoses of the main vessel and side branch were comparable between women and men. There were no differences in procedural characteristics between the sexes. Women and men had a similar risk of TLF (6.3% vs. 7.1%, p=0.63) as well as its individual components and sex was not an independent predictor of TLF. This finding was consistent in the left main and 2 stenting subgroups. Conclusions In patients undergoing bifurcation PCI, sex was not an independent predictor of adverse outcome.

Abstract In recent years, the prevalence of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents has risen rapidly, posing a serious threat to their physical and mental health. To provide scientific, systematic, and standardized weight management guidance for overweight and obese children and adolescents, the study focuses on the core concept of healthy lifestyle intervention, integrates multidisciplinary expert opinions and research findings,and proposes a comprehensive multidisciplinary intervention framework covering scientific exercise intervention, precise nutrition and diet, optimized sleep management, and standardized psychological support. It calls for the establishment of a multi agent collaborative management mechanism led by the government, implemented by families, fostered by schools, initiated by individuals, optimized by communities, reinforced by healthcare, and coordinated by multiple stakeholders. Emphasizing a child and adolescent centered approach, the consensus advocates for comprehensive, multi level, and personalized guidance strategies to promote the internalization and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. It serves as a reference and provides recommendations for the effective prevention and control of overweight and obesity, and enhancing the health level of children and adolescents.

Pheochromocytoma is a neuroendocrine tumor that produces catecholamines, leading to elevated blood pressure and metabolic changes in patients. It can result in serious complications affecting the heart, brain, kidneys, and blood vessels, potentially becoming a primary cause of death. Most pheochromocytoma patients present with atypical symptoms, making misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis common. This article reports a case of pheochromocytoma crisis misdiagnosed as severe viral myocarditis and includes a review of the relevant literature.
