Gastric contrast-enhanced ultrasound includes oral contrast-enhanced ultrasound (OCUS) and double contrast-enhanced ultrasound (DCEUS),which can provide valuable clinical information about tumor morphology, vascular characteristics, and treatment responses.OCUS can clearly identify the gastric wall structure and the extent and depth of lesions by applying oral contrast agents.DCEUS,based on OCUS combined with venography, can display the anatomical and perfusion characteristics of lesions. In recent years, gastric contrast agents and imaging techniques have developed rapidly. However, the clinical application of gastric contrast-enhanced ultrasound is still in the developmental stage. This article reviews the clinical status of OCUS and DCEUS in the screening, diagnosis, staging, pathological typing, and treatment evaluation of gastric cancer.Studies have shown that gastric contrast-enhanced ultrasound has high sensitivity and specificity in the assessment of diagnosis and T-staging of gastric cancer.Furthermore, gastric contrast-enhanced ultrasound has the advantages of being cost-effective,convenient,non-invasive,free from radiation exposure,real-time,and easy to repeat. In the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer,it is expected to become one of the important imaging assessment tools.

This study was aimed at establishing a method of ultra-fast quantitative PCR for Brucella detection. We used an exogenous recombinant plasmid as the internal reference and targeted the T4SS secretion system,an important Brucella viru-lence factor,to design specific primers and probes. The sensitivity, specificity, and repeatability of this method were evaluated, and a standard curve was constructed. The coincidence rate of detection findings with this method versus quantitative PCR was determined. This method markedly decreased the detection time to only 10 minutes. The standard curve demonstrated a good linear relationship(Y=-3.410 7x+38.357,R2=0.998 5)with a low minimum detection limit of 10 copies/μL.The method exhibited good specificity and did not specifically amplify several common clinical bacteria other than Brucella. The de-tection of three concentrations of positive plasmids yielded coefficients of variation(CVs)of 0.20%to 0.91%,thus demonstra-ting the method's excellent repeatability.Furthermore,140 clinical samples were analyzed concurrently with the fluorescence PCR method, which yielded a 100%compliance rate and consistent results. Our findings indicated that the Brucella ultra-fast quantitative PCR was ultrafast;had high sensitivity, high specificity, and good specificity;and can be used for the clinical de-tection of Brucella and emergency investigation of epidemics. Therefore, this method is valuable for the early diagnosis of Bru-cella.

OBJECTIVE:
To observe the clinical efficacy of deep needling at Xiaguan (ST7) combined with electroacupuncture and warm acupuncture for adenoid hypertrophy (AH) in children.
METHODS:
Seventy-two children with AH were randomly divided into an observation group (36 cases, 5 cases dropped out, 1 case was eliminated) and a control group (36 cases, 4 cases dropped out, 2 cases were eliminated). The observation group received deep needling at Xiaguan (ST7) combined with electroacupuncture and warm acupuncture. The needle depth of Xiaguan (ST7) was 20-30 mm. Electroacupuncture was applied at Xiaguan (ST7), Yingxiang (LI20), Yintang (GV24+), Baihui (GV20), with continuous wave, in frequency of 2 Hz. Warm acupuncture was applied at Zusanli (ST36). The treatment was performed 30 min each time, once a week for 12 weeks. The control group was treated with mometasone furoate aqueous nasal spray, one spray per nostril each time, once a day for 12 weeks. The symptom score, adenoid-to-nasopharynx ratio (A/N), and 18-item health-related quality-of-life survey for children with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA-18) score were observed before and after treatment in the two groups, and the clinical efficacy was evaluated after treatment.
RESULTS:
After treatment, the total scores of symptom, A/N, and OSA-18 scores were decreased compared with those before treatment in both groups (P<0.01), the above indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.01, P<0.05). The total effective rate in the observation group was 93.3% (28/30), which was higher than 83.3% (25/30) in the control group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSION
Deep needling at Xiaguan (ST7) combined with electroacupuncture and warm acupuncture could effectively improve symptoms, reduce adenoid volume, and improve the quality of life in children with AH.

[Objective]To investigate the dynamic expression profiles and potential regulatory mechanisms of long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)in male reproductive system aging.[Methods]A naturally aging C57BL/6 mouse model was used and 4 mice were selected each at 3,15,and 21 months of age.RNA was extracted from seven regions of the male reproductive tract(testis, efferent duct, initial segment of epididymis, caput epididymis, corpus epididymis, cauda epididymis, and vas deferens),followed by RNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.[Results]Region-specific dynamic expression profiles of lncRNAs were constructed in the testis, epididymis(efferent duct, initial segment, caput, corpus, and cauda),and vas deferens of male mice.Combined with gene functional enrichment analysis, the functional associations of lncRNAs were elucidated in reproductive system aging. The differentially expressed lncRNAs in the aging testis were primarily involved in hormone biosynthesis and extracellular matrix organization, while those in the initial segment of the epididymis were closely related to cell recognition and epithelial cell migration.A comprehensive lncRNA expression atlas associated with male reproductive aging was established.[Conclusion]LncRNAs may participate in male reproductive aging through the regulation of the reproductive microenvironment, which provides key molecular targets and a research foundation for understanding age-related fertility decline.
