Chinese Journal of Neuromedicine 2025;24(3):310-316
The nervous system not only affects the core processes of tumors such as proliferation, metastasis and angiogenesis, but is also closely related to symptoms such as tumor-related pain and cachexia. Meanwhile, tumor cells can invade adjacent tissues through nerve pathways to induce perineural invasion, which promotes tumor development. This article reviews the research progress in role of the nervous system in tumor occurrence and development from perspectives of tumor perineural invasion, neurotrophic factors, autonomic and sensory nerves, and influence of the neuroimmune system in tumors, in order to provide new perspective and method for tumor treatment.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2024;48(11):1429-1432
[Objective]To explore the guiding significance of the abdominal syndrome described in the Fuzheng Qilan(FuKushokiran-Zen) on the clinical application of various kinds of Guishao Decoctions, and explore the corresponding relation of medicine-abdomen syndrome in Fuzheng Qilan(FuKushokiran-Zen),so as to provide reference for the clinical differential use of Guishao Decoctions.[Methods]Sort out the discussion of abdominal syndrome involving Guishao Decoctions, classify and summarize the abdominal syndrome of various kinds of Guishao Decoctions, summarize the basis of abdominal diagnosis of Guizhi(Cinnamomi Ramulus) and Shaoyao(Paeonia lactiflora),and explore the corresponding relationship between abdominal syndrome and the addition and subtraction of Guishao Decoctions.[Results]The Guishao Decoction involved in Fuzheng Qilan(FuKushokiran-Zen) can be divided into warming Yang, nourishing Yin,and nourishing Yin and Yang according to its efficacy, and all parties have their detailed records of abdominal syndrome.Abdominal throbbing and abdominal cramps are the characteristic abdominal syndromes of Guishao Decoctions.Clinically,it can be used based on different abdominal syndromes and their corresponding relationships with prescriptions, with Guizhi Decoction as the base.[Conclusion]As a monograph on abdominal diagnosis of Japanese Kampo medicine,Fuzheng Qilan(FuKushokiran-Zen) has in-depth research on clinical syndrome differentiation, reflecting the diagnosis and treatment characteristics of Kampo doctors "emphasizing practice and neglecting theory".The book inherits the idea of "relative medicine and syndrome" of Yoshitomo Higashito, and specifies "syndrome" as "abdominal syndrome" to guide clinical prescription and medication, which is widely used by later Japanese doctors and worthy of excavation and research.

5.An outbreak of school influenza complicated with mycoplasma pneumoniae infection
Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(2):266-268
Objective:
To describe the clinical features, causal agent and transmission mode of a fever outbreak in a school in Shanghai.
Methods:
Field epidemiological approaches including case definition development, searching for contacts, distribution of diseases description, environmental sampling and laboratory testing.
Results:
A total of 16 influenza like cases were included, all concentrated in the one class of grade two, including 15 students and 1 teacher. Among student cases, the incidence rate was 36.59% (15/41), the average age was 7.4 years, the incidence rate was 36.84%(7/19) for boys, 36.36%(8/22) for girls. The clinical course was 5-15 days, with the median of 9 days, and 18.75%(3/16) of the cases stayed studying while sick. The nasopharyngeal swab specimens in 16 cases all tested positive for influenza B, of which 11 tested positive for mycoplasma pneumoniae and 1 case also tested positive for coronavirus OC43. Body temperature, number of mononuclear cells, and treatment time of patients infected with Influenza B and mycoplasma pneumoniae were higher than those of patients infected with influenza B alone( P <0.05). The outbreak lasted for 12 days, all sick students were treated and discharged from hospital, with no severe cases or death, and the outbreak was effectively controlled.
Conclusion
This campus cluster outbreak caused by influenza B and mycoplasma pneumoniae. Patients with influenza B with mycoplasma pneumoniae have severe symptoms and a long course of illness, suggesting the importance of early management of the epidemic.

Chinese Journal of Stomatology 2020;55(10):778-782
Minimally invasive surgery develops rapidly in the periodontal treatments, especially in the periodontal regenerative treatment, in recent years. It supplements, to a certain extent, the insufficiency of the conventional periodontal regenerative treatment. The minimally invasive surgery has many advantages such as enhancing the healing process, reducing surgical chair time and minimizing patient discomfort, etc. It has been proved to improve the clinical effect and provide additional benefits compared to conventional approaches. At present, there are many studies on minimally invasive techniques used in tooth extraction or implant placement in China, but there are few reports on the application of periodontal minimally invasive surgical techniques. Thus based on the reviews of the literatures, this article describes the applications, advantages, indications, microsurgical instruments of minimally invasive periodontal surgery on the treatment of intrabony defect, including various minimally invasive surgical procedures. The review also demonstrates the therapeutic effects and research progress of minimally invasive periodontal surgery combined with biomaterials used in the treatments of intrabony defect. The present article may also provide reference for clinicians applying minimally invasive surgeries to treat intrabony defects.

Objective To investigate the knowledge regarding the diabetic retinopathy among patients from Quzhou city, and to explore individualized health guidance countermeasures. Methods From January 2012 to March 2014,diabetic retinopathy scale was used to analyze the situation of the disease knowledge mastery among 297 inpatients with diabetes from Department of Endocrinology of People′s Hospital of Quzhou. Results 42. 42% of the total 297 patients had not participated in any forms of study concerning the knowledge of diabetic retinopathy. 38. 38% of the participants visited ophthalmologist once every 1 -6 month, while 42. 76% of them made the interval over six months. 65. 32% of the participants could follow the doctor′s advice to have their fundus examination and only 30. 97% of participants could have the regular fundus examination annually. Conclusions The level of knowledge regarding the diabetic retinopathy and self-care behavior among diabetic patients are medium and low level. The related health education should be further performed to improve the situation of prevention and treatment for diabetic retinopathy.
