【Objective】 To investigate the intrinsic relationship of social support and psychological capital with college students’ volunteer motivation in the post-epidemic era so as to provide theoretical basis for formulating policies and measures to increase college students’ participation in volunteer activities. 【Methods】 In March 2022, 1 120 college students from 15 universities in Henan Province were selected by convenient sampling method. Their general information, social support, psychological capital, and volunteer motivation were investigated, and univariate analysis, correlation analysis and intermediary effect analysis were performed. 【Results】 The differences of scores in six dimensions of volunteer motivation (i.e., values, understanding, enhancement, career, social interaction, and self-protection) were statistically significant (F=124.90, P<0.001). There were significant differences in social support level of college students of different genders (t=-2.40, P<0.05), and the difference in volunteer motivation level among different grades of college students was statistically significant (F=6.72, P<0.001). Social support, psychological capital, and volunteer motivation were positively correlated with one another (r=0.41, r=0.35, r=0.50, P<0.001). Part of the intermediary effect of psychological capital between social support and volunteer motivation was significant (intermediary effect value=0.49, 95% CI: 0.39-0.59). 【Conclusion】 Colleges and universities can take corresponding measures to improve college students’ volunteer motivation level by improving social support and psychological capital level.

Objective To observe and compare the effect of Cordyceps sinensis ( bailing ) capsules com-bined with weight-bearing breathing exercises, and weight-bearing breathing exercises combined with tiotropium bro-mide and seretide, on patients with stable but moderate-to-severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods Sixty-three patients with moderate-to-severe COPD were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group. Both groups performed weight-bearing breathing exercises, supplemented in the observation group with the oral administration of bailing capsules. The control group instead inhaled tiotropium bromide and seretide. Six-mi-nute walking distance, the COPD assessment test ( CAT scores) and concentrations of interleukin-6 ( IL-6) , interleu-kin-8 ( IL-8) and tumor necrosis factor-α ( TNF-α) were observed after 1 ( T1) , 30 ( T2) and 58 ( T3) days of the treatments. Results At T1 there were no significant differences between the two groups in any of the measurements ( P≤0.05) . At T2, there were still no significant differences except that a significant decrease in IL-8 and TNF-αlevels was observed in the control group. At T3 the average CAT scores had decreased significantly in both groups compared to before the treatment but there was no significant difference between the two groups. In the observation group, the average 6MWT distance had increased significantly compared to before the treatment and compared to the control group, where there was no significant improvement. The average IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-αreadings of the control group were significantly lower than those of the observation group at T3 and compared to before the treatment. No sig-nificant changes in those indicators were observed in the observation group at T3. Conclusions Bailing capsules combined with weight-breathing exercises are more effective for relieving dyspnea symptoms and improving exercise capacity than weight-breathing exercises combined with tiotropium bromide and seretide. However, in controlling air-way inflammation and airway hyper-responsiveness, the triple inhalation combined with weight-bearing breathing exer-cises is more effective.

Objective To observe the effect of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) combined with fasudil hydrochloride on the nerve function of the patients after embolization in the treatment of intracranial aneurysm. Methods Clinical data of 130 patients with intracranial aneurysm treated in our hospital from June 2011 to June 2016 were recruited as research subjects and they were divided into the control group (n =55) and the observation group (n =75) in accordance with different treatment methods. The patients of the control group were treated with nimodipine in addition to routine therapy, while the patients of the observation group were supplemented with HBO on the basis of the treatment received by the control group.Brain edema scores both before and after treatment were compared between the 2 groups.Analyses were also made on the following indexes:Glasgow coma scale (GCS) and Glasgow outcome scale (GOS) grade, middle cerebral artery blood (MCA) flow velocity and cerebral vasospasm (CVS),neural function defect (NFD)scores,Barthel index scores, incidence of cerebral infarction at day 30 after surgery,as well as incidence of adverse reactions. Results There was statistical significance in the brain edema scores,NFD scores and Barthel scores of the observation group,as compared with those before treatment (P < 0.01).MCA and CVS blood flow velocity was significantly lower than that before treatment (P < 0.01),and that of the observation group was obviously lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05).The GCS scores were significantly lower than those before treatment [(14.14±1.88) vs (8.87±1.06),(11.17±1.71) vs (8.71±1.17),P<0.01].Three months after treatment,GOS grade of the observation group was obviously superior to that of the control group (F =9.625,P <0.01).The rate of cerebral infarction in the patients of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (6.67% vs 18.18%,P < 0.05),and statistical significance could be noted, when comparisons were made between the 2 groups (P < 0.05).Conclusions HBO combined with fasudil hydrochloride in the treatment of intracranial aneurysm after embolization could significantly improve the neurological function, enhance cerebral artery blood flow velocity and promote recovery of daily activities of the patients.

Objective To investigate diagnosis and treatment of venous cerebral infarction. Methods The reasons, clinical findings, imaging characters, treatment methods and prognosis of 19 patients diagnosed venous cerebral infarction were analyzed. Results The most frequent symptoms were headache, focal deficits, epilepsy, increased CSF pressure.Among 19 cases, multiple cerebral lesions were found in 12 cases, lobes lesions in18 cases, cerebral infarction with hemorrhage in 3 cases. After various treatments, 16 patients were discharged and one patient died and 2 patients gave up treatment. Conclusions Venous cerebral infarction has complicated causes, non-specific chinical manifestations and characteristic MR images. Anticoagulation and thrombolysis treatment in early stage may have good therapeutic effect.

Objective To evaluate the frequencies and polymorphisms of CCR5-△32,CCR2-641 and SDF1-3'A alleles conferring resistance to HIV-1 infection in Chinese population from Han ethnic origin. Methods This cohort was comprised of 1251 subjects(915 men and 336 women)aged 15 -80 years and none was HIV-1 positive.Genotyping of allelic CCR5-△32,CCR2-641 and SDF1-3' A variants was performed using PCR or PCR/RFLP assay, and further confirmed by direct DNA sequencing. Results Our finding shows that the△32 deletion mutation in the CCR5 gene does occur in this population and can be inherited in a Mendelian fashion in indigenous Han Chinese at a very low frequency of 0.00119(n= 1254).The frequencies of mutant CCR2-641 and SDF1-3'A alleles were 0.20023(n = 1251)and 0.2873(n = 893),in this population, which are higher than those found in American Caucasians.Furthermore the polymorphisms of CCR2-641 and SDF1-3' A alleles in the Han Chinese population were different from those in American Caucasians.Statistical analysis showed that the genotype distribution of CCR5-△32,CCR2-641 and SDF1-3' A alleles was in equilibrium according to the Hardy-Weinberg equation. Conclusion The CCR5-△32 mutation may not be a major resistant factor against HIV-1 infection in indigenous Han Chinese. The significance of higher frequencies of CCR2-641 and SDF1-3' A alleles (0.20023 and 0.2791)in the Han population remains to be clarified in HIV-1-positive carriers and AIDS patients.
