OBJECTIVE: To investigate the impact of bone mass and volume of low-density zones beneath the tibial plateau on the maximum von Mises stresses experienced by the cartilage and meniscus in the knee joint. METHODS: The study included one healthy adult volunteer, from whom CT scans were obtained, and one patient diagnosed with knee osteoarthrisis (KOA), for whom X-ray films were acquired. A static model of the knee joint featuring a low-density zone was established based on a normal knee model. In the finite element analysis, axial loads of 1 000 N and 1 800 N were applied to the weight-bearing region of the upper surface of the femoral head for model validation and subsequent finite element studies, respectively. The maximum von Mises stresses in the femoral cartilage, as well as the medial and lateral tibial cartilage and menisci, were observed, and the stress percentage of the medial and lateral components were concurrently analyzed. Additionally, HE staining, as well as alkaline magenta staining, were performed on the pathological specimens of patients with KOA in various low-density regions. RESULTS: The results of model validation indicated that the model was consistent with normal anatomical structures and correlated with previous calculations documented in the literature. Static analysis revealed that the maximum von Mises stress in the medial component of the normal knee was the lowest and increased with the advancement of the hypointensity zone. In contrast, the lateral component exhibited an opposing trend, with the maximum von Mises stress in the lateral component being the highest and decreasing as the hypointensity zone progressed. Additionally, the medial component experienced an increasing proportion of stress within the overall knee joint. HE staining demonstrated that the chondrocyte layer progressively deteriorated and may even disappear as the hypointensity zone expanded. Furthermore, alkaline magenta staining indicated that the severity of microfractures in the trabecular bone increased concurrently with the expansion of the hypointensity zone. CONCLUSION The presence of subtalar plateau low-density zone may aggravate joint degeneration. In clinical practice, it is necessary to pay attention to the changes in the subtalar plateau low-density zone and actively take effective measures to strengthen the bone status of the subtalar plateau low-density zone and restore the complete biomechanical function of the knee joint, in order to slow down or reverse the progression of osteoarthritis.

Objective:To analyze the medication law of Professor Li Fazhi in the prescriptions for the treatment of cough; To explore his academic thoughts.Methods:Medical cases of Professor Li about the treatment for cough from January 1, 2015 to October 31, 2022 were collected. Excel2016 and R language 4.2.1 were used to conduct multidimensional analysis on property and taste, and meridians of drugs. High-frequency efficacy classification was explored through factor analysis, clustering analysis was conducted to distinguish drug groups, and time-lapse analysis on proportion and meridian was conducted on high-frequency drugs.Results:4 746 prescriptions involved 270 kinds of Chinese materia medica, with a total frequency of 57 700 times. The most common property and taste was warm, followed by cold. Warm medicines were mainly pungent warm and cold warm, and cold medicines were mainly pungent cold, sweet cold and bitter cold, and the main meridians were lung, spleen, stomach, and liver meridians. The top 35 kinds of Chinese materia medica with frequency could be clustered into 9 groups. Group 1: Perillae Fructus, Armeniacae Semen Amarum and Ephedrae Herba; group 2: Magnoliae Flosmagnoliae Flos, Cicadae Periostracum and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma; group 3: Peucedani Radix, Platycodonis Radix, Mori Cortex, Schizonepetae Herba, Saposhnikoviae Radix and Farfarae Flos; group 4: Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, Astragali Radix, Cimicifugae Rhizoma and Coptidis Rhizoma; group 5: Coicis Semen, Phragmitis Rhizoma, Persicae Semen and Benincasae Semen; group 6: Perillae Folium; group 7: Bupleuri Radix, Mume Fructus, Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, Scutellariae Radix and Paeoniae Radix Alba; group 8: Asari Radix et Rhizoma, Cinnamomi Ramulus, Zingiberis Rhizoma, Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Alumine; group 9: Poria and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata cum Melle. The time-lapse analysis showed that the proportion of drugs used in the past three years such as Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata cum Melle, Poria and Aurantii Fructus was gradually increasing.Conclusions:Professor Li's treatment of cough focuses on the lungs, spleen, and stomach. Clinical medication emphasizes the combination of ascending and descending factors, as well as the use of cold and warm. In recent years, there has been a greater emphasis on treating cough from the middle energizer.

OBJECTIVE To compare anti-ischemic stroke （IS） effect of different extraction parts from Gastrodia elata， and to provide reference for screening the anti-IS effective parts of G. elata. METHODS G. elata was extracted and separated by ethanol reflux extraction and ethyl acetate extraction. The rat model of diffuse cerebral thrombosis was induced by internal carotid artery injection of arachidonic acid （AA）； the anti-IS effect of G. elata powder， ethanol extract of G. elata， residue of ethanol extract of G. elata， ethyl acetate extract of G. elata， residue of ethyl acetate extract of G. elata， gastrodin and aspirin （positive control drug） were investigated with the content of Evans blue （EB） in the ischemic brain tissue as index. RESULTS Compared with model group， aspirin， ethanol extract of G. elata and ethyl acetate extract of G. elata could significantly decrease the content of EB in the ischemic brain tissue of model rats （P＜0.05）. G. elata powder had the tendency to reduce the content of EB in the ischemic brain tissue of model rats， without statistical significance （P＞0.05）. The residue of ethanol extract of G. elata， residue of ethyl acetate extract of G. elata and gastrodin had little effect on the content of EB in the ischemic brain tissue of model rats. CONCLUSIONS Both ethanol extract of G. elata and ethyl acetate extract of G. elata have anti-IS effects， which are stronger than that of G. elata powder.

Objective To test the expression level of IL-37 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)of patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC)and further explore its clinical significance in the pathological process of PBC.Methods Pe-ripheral blood samples were collected from 42 patients diagnosed as PBC and 38 health individuals examined at the same time during June 2013 to August 2015 in Changhai Hospital.PBMCs were separated by sucrose density gradient centrifugation, qualified Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR)was used to measure IL-37 mRNA expression level in PBMCs. Enzyme-Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay (ELISA)was to measure the protein level of IL-37,IL-6,IL-17,TNF-α,TGF-β,IL-18 and IL-23 in plasma.Meanwhile,the pathological stages of PBC cases were recorded.Pearson correlation analysis was performed on IL-37 and IL-6,TNF-α,IL-17,TGF-β,IL-18 and IL-23.Spearman rank correlation analysis was on IL-37 and pathological stages of PBC.Results The mRNA and protein level of IL-37 in experimental and controlled group were 2.81 ±0.94 vs 1.09±0.56,356.14±169.36 pg/ml vs 86.68±48.23 pg/ml separately(t=9.811,9.462,P<0.000 1),with sta-tistical differences.The correlation analysis showed that IL-37 was positively related with IL-17,TNF-α,IL-6 and TGF-β(r=0.561 2,0.661 9,0.672 1,0.765 3,P<0.001),and disease stages (Ⅰ~Ⅳ)(rs=0.348 9,P<0.05).Conclusion IL-37 might involve in the pathological process of PBC,and it is significant for disease prediction and diagnosis.

Objective To test the expression level of CD69+CD4+CD25-T cells in peripheral blood from patients with autoimmune pancreatitis,and further analyze its clinical significance.Methods Peripheral blood samples from 32 patients with AIP diagnosed in hematological department,Changhai Hospital and 32 health individuals examined at the same time were collected from September 2014 to December 2016,they were classified as experimental and control groups,separately.Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) was acquired by density gradient centrifugation,CD69+ CD4 + CD25-T cells in PBMCs were tested by flow cytometry,and the expression level of cytokines in plasm was by ELISA.The comparison of varies between the two groups was measured by two independent samples' t test.The relationship between the two measurement data was measured by pearson correlation coefficient.Results The expression levels of CD69 + CD4 + CD25-T in experimental and control groups were 10.36％±3.68％ vs 3.99％±1.45％ (t=9.110,P＜0.0001).The expression level of TGF-β was 399.86±121.88 vs 143.87±56.22 pg/ml (t=10.79,P＜0.000 1),both with statistical significance.The levels of CD69+CD4+CD25-T in experimental was positively correlated with TGF-β (r=0.653,P＜0.001) and negatively with IL-4,IFN-γ,IL-2 (r=-0.442,-0.567,-0.351,P＜0.05) and there was statistical significance.Conclusion CD69+CD4 +CD25-T cells might involve the immunopathology of AIP and could be the potential biomarker for clinical diagnosis and therapy.

In the aspect of hardware, a solution of ZigBee networks plus 470 MHz networks is proposed. In the aspect of software, graphical display of monitoring interface and real-time equipment failure alarm is implemented. The system has the function of remote equipment failure detection and wireless localization, which provides a practical and effective method for medical equipment management.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare compound alendronate sodium sustained-release tablet and to investigate its drug release profile in vitro. METHODS: Hydroxy propyl methylcellulose (HPMC), ethylcellulose (EC), and lactis anhydrous were used to prepare sustained-release tablets by wet granule compression technique with release rate in vitro as index. Orthogonal experiment was conducted to optimize the formula. The release rate of the tablets in vitro was investigated. RESULTS: The optimized formula was as follows: HPMC 80 mg, EC 20 mg, and lactis anhydrous 20 mg. 12 h drug release of the preparation was achieved, and the drug release behavior in vitro fitted Higuchi equation. CONCLUSION: The sustained-release tablet is reasonable in formula and satisfactory in slow release efficacy.

The electronic structure of a Lindqvist type [Mo7O24]6- anion with 5 different types of counterion (K+, Na+, NH4+, [NH3Pr]+ and [NH3Pri]+) was calculated by using the Discrete Variational Method coupled with Density Functional Theory (DFT-DVM). It could be concluded through variance analysis to the calculated results that the type of counterion does not influence remarkably the electronic structure of [Mo7O24]6- anions. Perhaps it can be used to explain the experiment fact that the polyoxomolybdate structure of the Mo7O24 framework is apparently of critical significance to antitumor action. On these grounds we forecast that two other lindqvist type heptamolybadates(their counterions are Na+ and [NH3Pr]+ respectively) may also exhibit antitumor activities.
