1.Influencing Factors of Depression in Patients with Postoperative Ovarian Cancer

Objective To explore the prevalence of depressive symptoms in postoperative patients with ovarian cancer and to analyze its influencing factors from multiple dimensions, including clinical characteristics, psychological factors, and laboratory indicators. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted, which enrolled 235 postoperative patients with ovarian cancer. Depressive status was assessed using the patient health questionnaire, and the demographic, pathological, and medical record data of the patients were collected using the generalized anxiety disorder scale, Pittsburgh sleep quality index, European organization for research and treatment of cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30, and ECOG performance status score. Peripheral blood tumor marker (CA125), routine blood test, lymphocyte subsets, and serum cytokine levels were measured. Univariate and multivariate binary logistic regression analysis were used for statistical analysis. Results The prevalence of depression in postoperative patients with ovarian cancer was 39.15% (92/235). Univariate analysis showed that ECOG score ≥ 2 points, pain, anxiety, poor sleep quality, low quality of life, low life satisfaction, tumor recurrence, six or more cycles of chemotherapy, as well as higher levels of CA125, NLR, and NAR, and lower hemoglobin levels were significantly associated with depression (all P<0.05). Multivariate binary Logistic regression analysis showed that anxiety (OR=1.975, 95%CI: 1.231-3.170), sleep efficiency (OR=4.181, 95%CI: 1.211-14.43), sleep latency (OR=34.806, 95%CI: 4.258-284.542), ECOG performance status score, cognitive function (OR=0.918, 95%CI: 0.868-0.97), and life satisfaction were independent risk factors for depression (all P<0.05). Laboratory indicators were not independent influencing factors in the multivariate Logistic regression model. Conclusion Depression in postoperative patients with ovarian cancer is influenced by physiological, psychological, and social factors. Clinical management should focus on patients with anxiety, sleep disorders, poor physical condition, and low life satisfaction, and a comprehensive prevention and treatment strategy centered on psychological intervention and taking into account symptom management and social support should be implemented.
2.Establishment and application of a duplex TaqMan fluorescence quatitative PCR assay for Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synovialis detection

To rapidly detect and differentiate Mycoplasma gallisepticum(MG)and Mycoplasma synovialis(MS),two sets of specific primers and TaqMan probes were designed in this study based on the conserved regions of the 16S rRNA gene of two pathogens in NCBI.A dual TaqMan fluorescence quantitative PCR method for simultaneous detection of MG and MS was established by optimizing the reaction conditions,and the specificity,sensitivity,repeatability,and reliability of the method were verified.The results showed that this method could specifically amplify MG and MS without cross reactivity with 21 pathogens.The sensitivity experiment results showed that the detection limits of this method for MG and MS were 5.40×10 1 copies/μL and 6.60 × 10 1 copies/μL,and the sensitivity was 10 to 100 times higher than that of known methods.In addition,the re-sults of repetitive experiments showed that the coefficient of variation within and between groups was less than 1%.Compared with the single PCR amplification method in NY/T 553-2015,the positive sample detection coincidence rate,negative sample detection coincidence rate,and total sample detection coincidence rate were all 100.00%,indicating the strong reliability of this method.Using this method to detect 84 suspected Mycoplasma infected chicken samples,the results showed that the MG positivity rate was 32.14%(27/84),the MS positivity rate was 22.62%(19/84),and the positivity rate of samples infected with MG and MS was 16.67%(14/84).Concurrent-ly,182 healthy chicken cloacal swab samples,118 healthy chicken nasal swab samples,and 74 chicken farm environmental samples were detected,and the results showed that all samples were positive for Mycoplasma.The above results indicate that this method can be applied to the detec-tion of various clinical samples.In summary,the method established in this study had the advanta-ges of high specificity,high sensitivity,and good reproducibility.It could be used for clinical differ-ential diagnosis,epidemiological investigation,and pathogen purification of MG and MS infections.
3.Influencing factors and optimization methods of pre-treatment for microbiological counting method of proprietary Chinese medicine

Due to the diverse composition and complex physicochemical and biological characteristics, the pre-treatment of microbiological counting method (preparation of test solution) in microbiological limit test were interfered by many factors, which ultimately affected the repeatability and accuracy of test results. Improving the accuracy of microbiological test is of practical significance to ensure the safety and effectiveness of non-sterile preparations. In this paper, the key factors and optimization methods involved in the pre-treatment of proprietary Chinese medicines were systematically analyzed and summarized.
4.Five new meroterpenoids from Rhododendron anthopogonoides and their anti-inflammatory activity.

Five meroterpenoids, rhodonoids K-M (1-2), daurichromene E (3), and grifolins A-B (4-5), together with seven known compounds (6-12), were isolated from Rhododendron anthopogonoides. The chemical structures of these compounds were elucidated through comprehensive analysis of high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS), ultraviolet (UV), infrared spectroscopy (IR), and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) data. Their absolute configurations were determined by comparing experimental electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra with computed values. Notably, compounds 1 and 3 demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammation in RAW264.7 cells. These compounds markedly suppressed the mRNA expressions of inflammatory factors, including interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) while also down-regulating the protein expressions of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2).

5.Ecological niche and interspecific relationship of mosquitoes in different habitats in Dongcheng District, Beijing, 2023

ObjectiveTo explore the characteristics of ecological niche and interspecific relationships of mosquitoes in different habitats in Dongcheng District, Beijing, and to provide a basis for mosquito ecological monitoring, control and the development or optimization of prevention and control strategies for related mosquito-borne diseases. MethodsFrom May to October 2023, the ecological monitoring in residential areas, parks, tourist attractions and medical institutions in Dongcheng District of Beijing was carried out using the carbon dioxide (CO2) mosquito trapping method, and the ecological niche characteristics and interspecific relationships of mosquitoes in different habitats were analyzed using Levins ecological niche breadth index, Pinaka ecological niche overlap index and ecological niche similarity coefficients. ResultsThe temporal ecological niche of Culex pipiens pallens (10.62) was higher than that of Aedes albopictus (8.29) in different habitats in Dongcheng District of Beijing, and the temporal ecological niche overlap index of the two mosquitoes was as high as 0.87. The ecological niche breadth of Culex pipiens pallens was higher than that of Aedes albopictus in different monitoring habitats, and the order of the ecological niche breadth of Culex pipiens pallens in different monitoring habitats was, from high to low, as follows: residential areas (11.09) > tourist attractions (10.25) > medical institutions (9.15) > parks (9.07), while the ecological niche breadth of Aedes albopictus in different habitats was, in descending order, residential areas (8.56) > medical institutions (7.68) > parks (7.44) > tourist attractions (5.73). The results of niche overlap analysis showed that the overlap index between Culex pipiens pallens and Aedes albopictus was the largest in residential areas (0.86), as for in other habitats, which was, in descending order, parks (0.81) > medical institutions (0.68) > tourist attractions (0.60). Besides, the ecological similarity coefficients further verified that similarity coefficients, between the two mosquito species, were highest in residential areas (0.712), lowest in tourist attractions (0.497), and which were 0.675 in parks and 0.598 in medical institutions, respectively. ConclusionIn different monitoring habitats in Dongcheng District of Beijing, Culex albopictus pallens demonstrates a stronger spatio-temporal resource utilization ability than Aedes albopictus, and the two species exhibit more similar spatio-temporal resource utilization patterns in residential areas. Corresponding control strategies targeting the characteristics of ecological niches and interspecific relationships of these two mosquito species in different habitats should be developed to enhance the prevention and control effect.
6.Introduction and enlightenment of the Recommendations and Expert Consensus for Plasm a and Platelet Transfusion Practice in Critically ill Children: from the Transfusion and Anemia Expertise Initiative-Control/Avoidance of Bleeding (TAXI-CAB)

To guide transfusion practice in critically ill children who often need plasma and platelet transfusions, the Transfusion and Anemia Expertise Initiative-Control/Avoidance of Bleeding (TAXI-CAB) developed Recommendations and Expert Consensus for Plasma and Platelet Transfusion Practice in Critically Ill Children. This guideline addresses 53 recommendations related to plasma and platelet transfusion in critically ill children with 8 kinds of diseases, laboratory testing, selection/treatment of plasma and platelet components, and research priorities. This paper introduces the specific methods and results of the recommendation formation of the guideline.

8.Clinical value of peripheral immune function status in the assessment of'Deficiency of Vital Qi'in lung cancer metastasis

Objective:To investigate the association between peripheral immune function status and lung cancer metastasis,and to identify peripheral blood immune biomarkers for'Deficiency of Vital Qi'assessment in lung cancer metastasis.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on peripheral blood immune markers collected before treatment from lung cancer patients admitted into Shanghai Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,between March 2023 and April 2025.Patients were categorized into the non-metastatic and the metastatic groups based on the presence of distant metastasis,and the differences in the expressions of immune cells and cytokines between groups were compared.Peripheral blood immune markers with P<0.05 in univariate analysis were incorporated into a multivariate binary logistic regression model to identify independent predictors of lung cancer metastasis.Results:A total of 193 lung cancer patients were included(101 in the non-metastatic group and 92 in the metastatic group).There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of gender,age,smoking history,drinking history,or pathological type(all P>0.05).Univariate analysis revealed significant differences in multiple immune markers between the non-metastatic and metastatic groups(all P<0.05),including:lymphocyte count,CD3+,CD4+,and CD8+T,CD19+B cells,absolute counts of CD3-CD16+CD56+NK cells,percentages of Treg cells,CD8+CD28+Treg cells,G-MDSC,and CD3-CD16+CD56+dim NK cells,and levels of cytokine IL-1β,IL-6,and IL-10.Binary logistic regression analysis of differential indicators suggested that the percentage of Treg cells and CD8+CD28+Treg cells in peripheral blood were independent predictors of distant metastasis in lung cancer(OR=1.193,95%CI[1.047,1.36],P<0.01;OR=0.978,95%CI[0.957,0.999],P<0.05).Conclusion:Peripheral blood immune dysfunction is the biological basis for'qi deficiency'in lung cancer metastasis.This study quantitatively demonstrates the correlation between peripheral immune function status and lung cancer metastasis,providing empirical evidence for the theories of'qi deficiency and hidden toxicity'and'metastatic state of tumors'.
9.Effects and mechanism of asperuloside on the pyroptosis of intestinal epithelial cells in rats with ulcerative colitis

OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects and mechanism of asperuloside(Asp)on the pyroptosis of intestinal epithelial cells in rats with ulcerative colitis(UC).METHODS The male SD rats were randomly divided into Control group,model group(UC group),ASP low-dose and high-dose groups[Asp-L,Asp-H groups,Asp 35,70 mg/(kg·d)],ASP high-dose group+AMPK inhibitor Compound C group[Asp-H+Compound C group,Asp 70 mg/(kg·d)+Compound C 0.2 mg/(kg·d)],with 12 rats in each group.Except for Control group,the other groups were injected with 50%ethanol(0.25 mL)+5%2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid solution(2 mL/kg)into the intestinal cavity to construct UC model.After modeling,the rats in each drug group were given corresponding drug solution by gavage or(and)tail vein injection,once a day,for 14 consecutive days.After the last administration,the weight of rats in each group was measured,and the length of their colons was measured;disease activity index(DAI)score and colonic mucosal damage index(CMDI)score were performed,and the serum levels of inflammatory factors(interleukin-18,-1β,-6)were detected.The pathological changes of the colon tissue were observed.The expressions of pyroptosis-related proteins[caspase-1,gasdermin D(GSDMD)]in colon tissue,and pathway-related proteins such as adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK),thioredoxin-interacting protein(TXNIP),NOD-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)and apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD(ASC)were all detected.RESULTS Compared with Control group,the colon tissue structure of rats in UC group was damaged,with obvious infiltration of inflammatory cells and edema.Their body weight,colon length and phosphorylation level of AMPK protein were significantly reduced or shortened;DAI and CMDI scores,serum levels of inflammatory factors,and the protein expressions of caspase-1,GSDMD,TXNIP,NLRP3 and ASC in colon tissue were increased or upregulated significantly(P<0.05).Compared with UC group,the pathological damage of colon tissue in rats was relieved in Asp-L and Asp-H groups,and all quantitative indicators were significantly improved(P<0.05);the improvement effect of Asp-H group was more significant(P<0.05).Compound C could significantly reverse the improvement effect of high-dose of Asp on the above indicators in UC rats(P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS Asp can improve inflammatory damage in colon tissue and inhibit pyroptosis of intestinal epithelial cells in UC rats,which is associated with the activation of AMPK and inhibition of TXNIP/NLRP3 signaling pathway.

Children and adults differ significantly in physiology,biochemistry and immune function,which leads to sig-nificant differences in blood transfusion strategies between children and adults.To guide the clinical transfusion practice of pediatric patients and improve the prognosis of children,the National Health Commission organized the formulation and re-lease of the health industry standard Guideline for Pediatric Transfusion(WS/T 795-2022).This paper will briefly introduce some concepts that help understand of the Standard and the preparation process of the Standard,and explain and interpret the preparation of the"scope","general provisions"and"factors to consider"of the Standard,hoping to contribute to the understanding and implementation of the Standard.
