Objective: To investigate the self-monitoring blood pressure behavior and its influencing factors among residents in Jiangsu Province, so as to provide the basis for strengthening proactive blood pressure monitoring among residents. Methods: Permanent residents aged 35-75 years in six counties (cities, districts), Jiangsu Province, were selected using the stratified cluster sampling method in 2023. Data on basic information, disease history, and self-monitoring blood pressure behavior were collected, height and weight were measured to calculate the body mass index (BMI); and blood glucose and lipid levels were measured. Self-monitoring blood pressure behavior was defined as having measured blood pressure at least once in the past three months. Factors affecting self-monitoring blood pressure behavior were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: A total of 12 475 residents were surveyed, including 5 748 males and 6 727 females, with a male-to-female ratio of 1∶1.17. There were 3 855 residents aged 45-<55 years (30.90%) and 5 511 residents who had self-monitoring blood pressure behaviors (44.18%). Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that the residents who were males (OR=1.167, 95%CI: 1.081-1.261), lived in rural areas (OR=1.430, 95%CI: 1.321-1.547), aged 45-75 years (45-<55 years, OR=1.384, 95%CI: 1.241-1.543; 55-<65 years, OR=1.397, 95%CI: 1.243-1.570; 65-75 years, OR=1.196, 95%CI: 1.049-1.363), had an annual household income ≥30 000 yuan (30 000-<60 000 yuan, OR=1.190, 95%CI: 1.072-1.321; 60 000-<110 000 yuan, OR=1.330, 95%CI: 1.191-1.485; ≥110 000 yuan, OR=1.746, 95%CI: 1.536-1.984), were overweight (OR=1.170, 95%CI: 1.070-1.280) or obese (OR=1.248, 95%CI: 1.120-1.391), were unaware (OR=1.221, 95%CI: 1.103-1.353) or aware (OR=3.937, 95%CI: 3.575-4.335) of having hypertension, were aware of having diabetes (OR=1.538, 95%CI: 1.354-1.749), and aware of having dyslipidemia (OR=1.265, 95%CI: 1.106-1.447) were more likely to have self-monitoring blood pressure behaviors. Conclusions Among the residents aged 35-75 years in Jiangsu Province, 44.18% had self-monitoring blood pressure behavior. Gender, place of residence, age, annual household income, BMI, hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia were identified as influencing factors for self-monitoring blood pressure behavior.

Pinellia ternata， belonging to the Pinellia genus within the Araceae family， is a medicinal plant due to its tubers. There are severe issues with unclear germplasm and mixed varieties in its cultivation， necessitating urgent new variety protection efforts. The distinctness， uniformity， and stability （DUS） testing of the plant variety is the basis for protecting new plant varieties， and the DUS test guidelines are the technical basis for DUS testing. To develop the DUS test guidelines for P. ternata， agronomic traits of 229 germplasm of P. ternata were observed and measured during its two growth stages over the years， and each character was graded and described. A total of 38 traits were selected as the test traits of the DUS test guideline for P. ternata. There were three plant traits， 19 leaf traits， six flower traits， two fruit traits， two tuber traits， five bulbil traits， and one ploidy trait. These traits could be divided into 22 quality characters， 12 quantitative characters， and four pseudo-quantitative characters， as well as seven groups， including plants， leaves， flowers， fruit， tubers， bulbils， and ploidy. By searching for standard traits， 10 standard varieties were ultimately determined. Preparing these guidelines will have great significance for reviewing and protecting P. ternata varieties， safeguarding breeders' rights， and promoting the development of the P. ternata industry.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the efficacy and safety of ropivacaine combined with oxycodone for the analgesia of iliac fascia nerve block in patients undergoing hip replacement. METHODS Sixty-six patients who underwent hip replacement at the Central Hospital of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture from October 2023 to April 2024 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group， with 33 cases in each group. Before induction of anesthesia， ultrasound-guided iliac fascial nerve block was performed. Patients in the observation group were treated with 0.33% ropivacaine+0.1 mg/kg oxycodone injection mixture 30 mL， and patients in the control group were treated with 0.33% ropivacaine injection 30 mL. The time of first postoperative rescue analgesia， 24 h postoperative analgesic drug consumption， sensory block and motor block effective and maintenance time， satisfaction degree， numerical rating scale （NRS） pain score， Ramsay sedation score， muscle strength score， heart rate （HR）， mean arterial pressure （MAP）， oxygen saturation（SpO2）， sleep score， anxiety score， and the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups were all recorded. RESULTS Compared with the control group， the first rescue analgesia time after operation was significantly prolonged in the observation group， and 24 h postoperative analgesic drug consumption after operation decreased； the effective time of sensory block was significantly shortened， and the maintenance time of sensory block was significantly prolonged， and the satisfaction score was higher； the NRS pain score after iliac fascia nerve block was lower， HR and MAP were lower， and the anxiety score and sleep score 24 and 48 h after operation were lower （P＜0.05）. In terms of safety， patients in both groups had adverse reactions after operation， such as hypertension， nausea， vomiting， and dizziness， but there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups （P＞0.05）. CONCLUSIONS Oxycodone combined with ropivacaine shows good efficacy and safety for iliac fascial nerve block analgesia in patients undergoing hip replacement， can significantly prolong the analgesic time of ropivacaine， reduce postoperative analgesic drug consumption， improve the sleep quality of patients， and promote the rapid recovery of patients.

BACKGROUND: The effect of the interval between previous Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) eradication and rescue treatment on therapeutic outcomes remains unknown. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between eradication rates and treatment interval durations in H. pylori infections. METHODS: This prospective observational study was conducted from December 2021 to February 2023 at six tertiary hospitals in Shandong, China. We recruited patients who were positive for H. pylori infection and required rescue treatment. Demographic information, previous times of eradication therapy, last eradication therapy date, and history of antibiotic use data were collected. The patients were divided into four groups based on the rescue treatment interval length: Group A, ≥4 weeks and ≤3 months; Group B, >3 and ≤6 months; Group C, >6 and ≤12 months; and Group D, >12 months. The primary outcome was the eradication rate of H. pylori . Drug compliance and adverse events (AEs) were also assessed. Pearson's χ2 test or Fisher's exact test was used to compare eradication rates between groups. RESULTS: A total of 670 patients were enrolled in this study. The intention-to-treat (ITT) eradication rates were 88.3% (158/179) in Group A, 89.6% (120/134) in Group B, 89.1% (123/138) in Group C, and 87.7% (192/219) in Group D. The per-protocol (PP) eradication rates were 92.9% (156/168) in Group A, 94.5% (120/127) in Group B, 94.5% (121/128) in Group C, and 93.6% (190/203) in Group D. There was no statistically significant difference in the eradication rates between groups in either the ITT ( P = 0.949) or PP analysis ( P = 0.921). No significant differences were observed in the incidence of AEs ( P = 0.934) or drug compliance ( P = 0.849) between groups. CONCLUSION: The interval duration of rescue treatment had no significant effect on H. pylori eradication rates or the incidence of AEs. REGISTRATION ClinicalTrials.gov , NCT05173493.

OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the efficacy of molecular targeted agents in children with progressive pediatric low-grade gliomas (pLGG). METHODS: A retrospective analysis was conducted on pLGG patients treated with oral targeted therapies at the Department of Pediatrics, Beijing Shijitan Hospital, Capital Medical University, from July 2021. Treatment responses and safety profiles were assessed. RESULTS: Among the 20 enrolled patients, the trametinib group (n=12, including 11 cases with BRAF fusions and 1 case with BRAF V600E mutation) demonstrated 4 partial responses (33%) and 2 minor responses (17%), with a median time to response of 3.0 months. In the vemurafenib group (n=6, all with BRAF V600E mutation), 5 patients achieved partial responses (83%), showing a median time to response of 1.0 month. Comparative analysis revealed no statistically significant difference in progression-free survival rates between the two treatment groups (P>0.05). The median duration of clinical benefit (defined as partial response + minor response + stable disease) was 11.0 months for vemurafenib and 18.0 months for trametinib. Two additional cases, one with ATM mutation treated with olaparib for 24 months and one with NF1 mutation receiving everolimus for 21 months, discontinued treatment due to sustained disease stability. No severe adverse events were observed in any treatment group. CONCLUSIONS Molecular targeted therapy demonstrates clinical efficacy with favorable tolerability in pLGG. Vemurafenib achieves high response rates and induces early tumor shrinkage in patients with BRAF V600E mutations, supporting its utility as a first-line therapy.

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), especially generative AI (GenAI), has already brought, and will continue to bring, revolutionary changes to our daily production and life, as well as create new opportunities and challenges for diagnostic and therapeutic practices in the medical field. Haihe Hospital of Tianjin University collaborates with the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin, Tianjin University, and other institutions to carry out research in areas such as smart healthcare, smart services, and smart management. We have conducted research and development of a full-process disease diagnosis and treatment assistance system based on GenAI in the field of smart healthcare. The development of this project is of great significance. The first goal is to upgrade and transform the hospital's information center, organically integrate it with existing information systems, and provide the necessary computing power storage support for intelligent services within the hospital. We have implemented the localized deployment of three models: Tianhe "Tianyuan", WiNGPT, and DeepSeek. The second is to create a digital avatar of the chief physician/chief physician's voice and image by integrating multimodal intelligent interaction technology. With generative intelligence as the core, this solution provides patients with a visual medical interaction solution. The third is to achieve deep adaptation between generative intelligence and the entire process of patient medical treatment. In this project, we have developed assistant tools such as intelligent inquiry, intelligent diagnosis and recognition, intelligent treatment plan generation, and intelligent assisted medical record generation to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of the diagnosis and treatment process. This study introduces the content of a full-process disease diagnosis and treatment assistance system, aiming to provide references and insights for the digital transformation of the healthcare industry.

Objective To investigate the influencing factors of autism spectrum disorder(ASD)among the children in Bijie City.Methods A total of 195 children diagnosed as ASD in Bijie City from June 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the case group and 201 healthy children extracted from the urban and rural kin-dergartens by the simple random sampling survey method served as the control group.The guardians of the children were surveyed by using a self-designed questionnaire.The logistic regression was adopted to analyze the influencing factors of childhood ASD onset.Results The univariate analysis results revealed that the differences in the sex,age,residential environment,maternal education level,maternal occupation,maternal age at pregnancy,maternal prenatal depression,health status at birth,feeding mode,early health status after birth,primary caregiver before 1 year old,left-behind experience before 3 years old,parenting attitude towards discipline and parental disciplinary severity between the two groups had statistical significance(P＜0.05).The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the child's sex,age,residential environment,mater-nal education level,maternal occupation,annual household income,maternal age at pregnancy,health status in neonatal period,primary caregiver beforel year old and left-behind experience before 3 years old were the inde-pendent influencing factors for ASD occurrence(P＜0.05).The specific manifestations included the boys,aged 5-6 years old,living in urban areas,mothers with a junior high school education or below,mothers as full-time housewives,family average annual income＜50 000 Yuan,mother pregnancy age＜20 years old,dyspnea or suffocation at birth,mainly taking care by others before 1 year old,and experience of being a left-behind child before 3 years old,which were more likely to develop autism.Conclusion The onset of childhood ASD is the results of multiple factors concurrent action.

Discussing the cognition, attitude and influencing factors of the family members of organ donors towards advance care planning (ACP) to provide a basis for the further promotion of ACP in the field of organ donation. Using qualitative research methods, 8 family members of organ donors were selected purposefully for semi-structured interviews, and the 7-step of Colaizzi was used to analyze and summarize the themes of the interview data. The results showed that the cognition status of the family members of organ donors of ACP could be summarized into 3 themes: problems faced by ACP implementation, positive recognition of the implementation of ACP, factors affecting the promotion of ACP. Organ donors’ family members are unfamiliar with the concept of ACP and have unclear cognition, but think that the implementation of ACP is of positive significance. It is suggested to further strengthen the publicity of ACP, medical autonomy, death education, so as to promote the development of ACP and improve the willing to donate organ.

Objective Postoperative delirium(POD)has become a critical challenge with severe consequences and increased incidences as the global population ages.However,the underlying mechanism is yet unknown.Our study aimed to explore the changes in metabolites in three specific brain regions and saliva of older mice with postoperative delirium behavior and to identify potential non-invasive biomarkers. Methods Eighteen-month-old male C57/BL6 mice were randomly assigned to the anesthesia/surgery or control group.Behavioral tests were conducted 24 h before surgery and 6,9,and 24 h after surgery.Complement C3(C3)and S100 calcium-binding protein B protein(S100beta)levels were measured in the hippocampus,and a metabolomics analysis was performed on saliva,hippocampus,cortex,and amygdala samples. Results In total,43,33,38,and 14 differential metabolites were detected in the saliva,hippocampus,cortex,and amygdala,respectively."Pyruvate""alpha-linolenic acid"and"2-oleoyl-1-palmitoy-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine"are enriched in one common pathway and may be potential non-invasive biomarkers for POD.Common changes were observed in the three brain regions,with the upregulation of 1-methylhistidine and downregulation of D-glutamine. Conclusion Dysfunctions in energy metabolism,oxidative stress,and neurotransmitter dysregulation are implicated in the development of POD.The identification of changes in the level of salivary metabolite biomarkers could aid in the development of noninvasive diagnostic methods for POD.

Objective To establish an UPLC-MS/MS method for determinating content of three paclitaxel fatty acid esters such as paclitaxel myristate(PTX-MA),paclitaxel palmitate(PTX-PA)and paclitaxel myristate(PTX-SA)in mouse plasma,and preliminarily investigate the pharmacokinetic characteristics of their liposomes in mice.Methods Eclipse Plus C8 chromatography column(2.1 mm×50 mm,1.8 μm)was used with different proportions of 0.2%formic acid aqueous solution(A)and methanol(B)mixture as mobile phase for gradient elution at a flow rate of 0.3 ml/min.The collum temperature was 30℃.The sample injection volume was 10 μl.The triple quadrupole mass series spectrometer was used as multi-reaction monitoring(MRM).Results PTX-MA,PTX-PA and PTX-SA all exhibited a good linear relationship in the range of 5.0～500.0 ng/ml(r>0.995 0).Their RSD of precision,stability,extraction recovery rate and matrix effect test results was all less than 10%.The half-lives(t1/2)for liposomes of three paclitaxel fatty acid esters PTX-MA-L、PTX-PA-L and PTX-SA-L in mice were 14.78 h,44.49 h and 69.32 h individually,and their clearance rates(CL)were 29.06 L?kg/h,24.94 L?kg/h and 13.74 L?kg/h,respectively.Conclusion This method had high specificity,sensitivity,easy operation and good stability,which could be used for the determination of paclitaxel fatty acid esters in mouse plasma.The results of pharmacokinetic studies in mice showed that t1/2 for paclitaxel fatty acid esters were significantly prolonged,and the clearance rate were significantly reduced with the length of fatty acid carbon chains increasement,which indicated that esterification of paclitaxel with different chain length saturated fatty acids could obviously alter its in vivo pharmacokinetic properties,which provided scientific basis for the research and development of nano formulations of paclitaxel fatty acid ester prodrug.
