Objective To investigate the effect of 3D technology combined with smartphones in problem-based learning(PBL)for neuroendoscopy. Methods 82 trainees who were enrolled from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects.A randomized controlled trial was conducted, and the subjects were divided into a control group and an experimental group.PBL and 3D technology combined with smartphone-assisted PBL were implemented respectively for two groups of students. The data were analyzed using t-test.Teaching satisfac-tion is evaluated by 2 test. Results The results of the in-operation examination and theoretical examination of the ex-perimental group students were found to be higher than those of the control group students(t=8.630,6.087,P<0.001),the satisfaction scores of students and teachers showing that the satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(x2=4.213,6.301,7.026,P<0.01).Conclusion In the PBL of neuroendosco-py,the use of 3D technology combined with smart phones as an auxiliary teaching system can effectively improve students'sense of participation, reduce the difficulty of skull base anatomy learning, and improve students'theo-retical and surgical assessment scores and teaching satisfaction.

Objective In the clinical teaching of neurosurgery, the traditional Problem-Based Learning(PBL)teaching model faces systematic challenges such as the disconnection between the training cycle of specialized talents and technological iteration, the limitation of practical opportunities due to hospital infections, and the inefficient allocation of teaching resources. It provides a new path for teaching reform based on the deep integration of Artificial Intelligence and PBL,but it still needs to address issues such as differences in intern participation, insufficient technical adaptability of instructors, and fragmented resource allocation.Based on these problems,a collaborative mechanism of"technology development-talent cultivation"and a multi-dimensional optimization path of"intern participation-instructor training-hospital resource input"are proposed. On this basis, through collaborative strategies such as strengthening the incentive mechanism for autonomous learning, establishing a standardized instructor training system, and building a dynamic resource allocation platform, the management of neurosurgery clinical teaching is promoted towards intelligence, personalization, and systematization.

Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic performance of resting echocardiography in detecting severe coronary artery stenosis. Methods:A total of 136 patients with suspected coronary artery disease(CAD)who presented to Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital between January 2021 and December 2024 were prospectively enrolled. All patients underwent both coronary computed tomography angiography(CCTA)and transthoracic echocardiography within one week. Based on CCTA results, the patients were divided into non-severe stenosis group( n=78)and severe stenosis group( n=58). Echocardiographic parameters including left atrial maximum volume(LAVmax),left ventricular global longitudinal strain(GLS),left ventricular longitudinal strain of endo-myocardium,mid-myocardium,epi-myocardium(LSendo,LSmid,LSepi),early diastolic mitral inflow velocity(E),early diastolic mitral annular velocity of the lateral and septal walls(e'),and E/e' were measured. Predictive factors for severe coronary stenosis were identified using LASSO regression, and a nomogram model was developed via multivariate Logistic regression. Model performance was evaluated using ROC curves, calibration curves, and decision curve analysis. Results:Multivariate Logistic regression analysis revealed LSendo,LAVmax, and E/e' as independent predictors of severe coronary artery stenosis. The nomogram constructed based on these predictors achieved an area under the curve of 0.798(95% CI=0.723-0.873),with sensitivity and specificity of 0.756 and 0.759,respectively. Conclusions:The resting echocardiography-based nomogram model demonstrates good diagnostic efficacy for severe coronary artery stenosis. It may serve as a noninvasive tool to assist in risk stratification and clinical decision-making in patients with suspected CAD.

Objective:To investigate gut microbiota differences between individuals with and without colorectal adenoma(CRA)and to identify gut microbes associated with CRA.Methods:This cross-sectional study analyzed the gut microbiota of 100 patients with CRA and 68 individuals without CRA(aged 40-75 years)who underwent colonoscopies between March 2021 and March 2022 at Tianjin Nankai Hospital.Fecal samples were sequenced for the V3-V4 region of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene using the Illumina NovaSeq platform. Results:Compared to the non-CRA group, the CRA group exhibited reduced relative abundances of identified and unidentified Lachnospiraceae, with increased Faecalibacterium and Streptococcus. In the non-CRA group, the relative abundances of Coprococcus, unidentified Clostridiaceae, and Clostridium were higher.LEfSe analysis revealed significant enrichment of Gammaproteobacteria,Proteobacteria,Enterobacteriales, and Faecalibacterium in the CRA group, while the non-CRA group was enriched for Moraxellaceae,Acinetobacter, and Anaerostipes. Conclusions:These findings suggest a discernible disparity in the gut microbiota structure between CRA patients and individuals without adenoma. The enrichment of potential pathogenic taxa, such as Faecalibacterium and Streptococcus,in the CRA group suggests a possible association with adenoma development.

Chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS)is a chronic comprehensive disease with a slow course and often accompanied by a variety of physical and psychiatric symptoms. At present, the incidence rate is on the rise.Based on the theory of"qi-pulse smooth and unobstructed",the pathogenesis of CFS is considered to be the loss of spleen and kidney and the deficiency of qi-pulse as the root;liver and lung disorders,qi-pulse stagnation as the pivot;wind fire invasion, phlegm blood stasis as the superficiality.Treatment should focus on tonifying the spleen and tonifying the kidneys to treat its root cause.According to the degree of deficiency of spleen and kidney and the emphasis of deficiency of qi-blood yin-yang,Buzhong Yiqi Decoction,Guipi Decoction,Shengyang Yiwei Decoction,Linggui Zhugan Decoction and Shenqi Pills should be selected flexibly. The methods of soothing the liver and regulating the lungs to regulate their pivot, harmonizing the liver and lungs, and using both ascending and descending functions should be used.Chaihu Shugan Powder,Xiaoyao Powder,Sini Powder,Guizhi Decoction,Shengmai Powder, etc.could be selected flexibly according to the disease location and disease focus.Clearing wind and clearing heat, eliminating phlegm and promoting blood circulation should be used to treat its superficiality, emphasizing tonifying deficiency and resolving depression.According to the different pathogenesis of patients, the corresponding treatment method should be flexibly chosen to supplement with medication. One medical case was attached in this article as the evidence,in order to provide reference for the TCM treatment of CFS.

Chinese Journal of Neuromedicine 2024;23(6):613-617
Mitochondrial dysfunction after spinal cord injury (SCI) is recognized as a crucial pathological mechanism for secondary SCI. Studies have indicated that mitochondrial transfer plays a significant role in the process of neural regeneration following injury. After mitochondria migrating to injured neurons, they mainly function via enhancing the energy metabolism level of damaged neurons and reducing oxidative stress. In this article, we present an exhaustive overview on mechanism of mitochondrial transfer, and impact on neural regeneration after mitochondrial transfer so as to provide valuable insights for further exploring the role of mitochondrial transfer in SCI progression and offer innovative perspective on potential therapeutic strategies for SCI.
