Objective:
To investigate the status and associated factors of sports supplement usage among grade 9 students, so as to provide a scientific basis for targeted supervision and health education regarding sports supplement usage among junior high school students.
Methods:
From June to September 2025, a stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select 2 261 grade 9 students from 10 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) in China. A questionnaire survey was conducted on their sports supplement usage and related factors. The Chi square test was used to compare the usage rates of sports supplements among different groups of students, and binary Logistic regression analysis was employed to investigate the related factors of sports supplement usage among grade 9 students.
Results:
Totally 59.7% of the grade 9 students used sports supplements. The usage rate (62.5%) was higher among boys than girls (56.3%), higher among students from rural areas and towns/counties (66.5%, 66.2%) than those from urban districts (52.9%), higher among boarding students (65.2%) than non resident students (54.3%), higher among students whose parents occupations were businessmen and workers (fathers: 65.0%, 63.7%; mothers: 63.6%, 61.1%) than those whose parents were farmers and civil servants (fathers: 57.5%, 54.1%; mothers: 58.8%, 55.7%), higher among students with a monthly family income of 5 000- 10 000 yuan (66.3%) than those in other income groups, and higher among students in the high score zone for the entrance physical examination to senior high school (67.7%) than those in the medium and low score zones ( 56.3% , 56.5%) ( χ 2=8.99, 42.21, 27.98, 20.55, 8.20, 22.74, 24.70, respectively, all P <0.05). Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that boys ( OR =1.26), those from rural areas ( OR =1.59), boarding students ( OR =1.36), those with a monthly family income of 5 000- 10 000 yuan ( OR =1.41), and those in the high score zone for entrance physical examination to senior high school ( OR =1.34) were more likely to use sports supplements during the entrance physical examination to senior high school; the probability of sports supplement usage was lower among students whose fathers were civil servants ( OR =0.74) (all P <0.05).
Conclusions
The usage of sports supplements is relatively common among grade 9 students. Intervention measures should be targeted at specific populations to reduce the risk of misuse.

OBJECTIVE To establish the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) fingerprint of Sagina japonica , and to establish a quantitative analysis of multi-components by single-marker (QAMS) method for simultaneous determination of six componen ts in S. japonica , aiming to provide references for the quality control of this medicinal herb. METHODS HPLC method was used to establish the fingerprints of 12 batches (No. S1-S12) of S . japonica according to Similarity Evaluation System of Chromatographic Fingerprint of Traditional Chinese Medicine . The similarity evaluation and identification of common peaks were conducted, followed by cluster analysis (CA) and principal component analysis (PCA) for 12 batches of samples. Using vicenin-2 as internal reference, the contents of p-hydroxy cinnamic acid, apigenin-6-C-arabinoside-8-C-glucoside, isoorientin, vitexin and 20-hydroxyecdysone were determined by QAMS method. The results were then compared with those obtained by the external standard method. RESULTS The similarities of HPLC fingerprints for 12 batches of S . japonica ranged from 0.828-0.998. A total of 17 common peaks were calibrated, and 6 common peaks were identified. Specifically, peak 5 was identified as vicenin-2, peak 7 as p-hydroxycinnamic acid, peak 10 as apigenin-6-C-arabinoside-8-C-glucoside, peak 11 as isoorientin, peak 13 as vitexin, and peak 15 as 20-hydroxyecdysone. The results of CA showed that S1-S5, S7 and S9-S11 were clustered into one category, S6 was clustered into one category, and S8 and S12 were clustered into one category. The results of PCA revealed that the accumulative contribution rate of the four main components was 89.430%. The content ranges measured by QAMS method for p-hydroxy cinnamic acid, apigenin-6-C-arabinoside-8-C-glucoside, isoorientin, vitexin and 20-hydroxyecdysone were 0.017 4-0.269 4, 0.568 8-4.240 3, 0.503 2-5.040 3, 0.024 0-0.132 0 and 2.551 3-4.881 1 mg/g, respectively. There was no significant difference in the contents of components measured between QAMS method and the external standard method ( P >0.05). CONCLUSIONS The established HPLC fingerprint and QAMS method can be used for quality evaluation and quality control of S . japonica.

Objective:
To understand the growth and development levels of four physical measurements in children aged 3-6 years in China, so as to provide a reference for child nutrition improvement and health promotion.
Methods:
A stratified random sampling method was used to collect physical measurement data from 120 kindergartens 25 842 children aged 3-6 years across 24 provinces and cities in seven natural geographical regions of North China, Northeast China, East China, Central China, South China, Southwest China and Northwest China from 2020 to 2023. The development levels of head circumference, chest circumference, waist circumference, and hip circumference were evaluated using a grading method. The analysis of gender and age differences was conducted using Mann-Whitney U- test and Kruskal-Wallis test, and the comparison of abnormal detection rates for different genders was conducted using Chi square test.
Results:
The distribution range of children aged 3-6 was 51.74(50.08, 53.33) cm in terms of head circumference, 55.73(52.09, 59.04) cm in terms of chest circumference, 53.04(48.92, 56.40) cm in terms of waist circumference, and 59.36(56.30, 62.32) cm in terms of hip circumference. The detection rate of abnormal head circumference in boys and girls aged 3-6 years old was relatively high (19.71%-42.02%), and the detection rate of abnormal physical circumference development levels in boys was higher than that in girls of all ages ( χ 2=5.63-83.35, P <0.05). The detection rate of abnormal hip circumference (4.89%-6.53%) and chest circumference (4.51%-6.38%) in boys and girls aged 3-6 was relatively low, and there was no statistically significant difference in the abnormal rate between different ages and genders ( χ 2=0.00-1.61, 0.00-3.71, P >0.05). The detection rate of abnormal waist circumference in boys and girls aged 3-6 was relatively high (13.70%-42.45%), and the detection rate of abnormal waist circumference in girls was higher than that in boys aged 4-6 groups ( χ 2=10.49-58.18, P < 0.05).
Conclusions
The overall physical development of children aged 3-6 years in China is improving, but the abnormal detection rates for head circumference and waist circumference are relatively high. Child healthcare should focus on preventing and treating abdominal obesity, with differentiated health intervention strategies based on different age groups and genders.

Objective:To investigate whether continued low-dose aspirin (LDA) intervention affects the incidence of pre-eclampsia (PE) and adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with high-risk PE screening in the first trimester and reassessed as low risk at 28 weeks of gestation. Methods:This study was a prospective observational cohort study. From April 2022 to April 2024, a total of 106 pregnant women who underwent prenatal examination in the Affiliated Jiangyin Hospital of Nantong University were enrolled. They were assessed as high risk of PE by multiple indicators combined screening at 11-13 +6 weeks of gestation, received LDA intervention, and were reassessed as low risk of PE at 28 weeks of gestation. The patients were divided into withdrawal group (49 cases) and continuation group (57 cases). The incidence of PE and adverse pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results:(1) There were no statistically significant differences in general conditions and the incidence of pregnancy complications between the two groups (all P>0.05). During the PE risk screening at 11-13 +6 weeks of gestation, there were no statistically significant differences in mean arterial pressure (MAP) and ultrasound uterine artery pulsation index (UtPI) between the two groups (all P>0.05), but the placental growth factor (PlGF) level in the withdrawal group was significantly lower than that in the continuation group ( P=0.023). There was no significant difference in the proportion of pregnant women with high risk of PE before 32 weeks and 34 weeks of pregnancy between the two groups (all P>0.05). (2) There were 7 cases (14%, 7/49) of PE in the withdrawal group, including 1 case (2%, 1/49) of early-onset PE and 3 cases (6%, 3/49) of PE before 37 weeks of pregnancy. There were 11 cases (19%, 11/57) of PE in the continuation group, including 2 cases (4%, 2/57) of early-onset PE and 4 cases (7%, 4/57) of PE before 37 weeks of pregnancy. There were no significant differences in the incidence of PE (including early-onset PE and PE before 37 weeks of pregnancy), gestational hypertension, severe PE, chronic hypertension complicated with PE and chronic hypertension complicated with pregnancy between the two groups (all P>0.05). (3) There were no significant differences in cesarean section rate, preterm birth rate, placental abruption, postpartum hemorrhage, fetal growth restriction, fetal distress rate, neonatal birth weight, neonatal asphyxia, and 1-minute and 5-minute Apgar scores between the two groups (all P>0.05). No stillbirth occurred in the two groups. Conclusion:For pregnant women with high risk of PE screening in the first trimester and taking LDA intervention, there is no difference in the incidence of PE and adverse pregnancy outcomes whether to continue LDA or not after being reassessed as low risk at 28 weeks of gestation.

Objective To analyze the expression, biological functions, and potential molecular regulatory mechanisms of synaptojanin-2 binding protein(SYNJ2BP)in epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods Clinical specimens from 73 patients treated at Rugao People's Hospital and Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University between September 2018 and September 2022 were collected, including 53 epithelial ovarian cancer tissues and 20 normal ovarian tissues.A retrospective analysis was performed to examine SYNJ2BP gene and protein ex-pression and its correlation with clinicopathological features. The effects of SYNJ2BP overexpression on pro-liferation,apoptosis,migration,and invasion abilities of epithelial ovarian cancer A2780 cells were assessed via CCK-8 assays, colony formation assays, cell cycle analysis, apoptosis assays,Transwell migration assays, and wound healing assays.Western blot was used to detect the impact of SYNJ2BP overexpression on ERK1/2 protein phosphorylation and c-Myc protein expression in A2780 cells. Results The expression of SYNJ2BP was significantly downregulated in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues, and its expression level was significantly correlated with FIGO stage, tumor grade, and histological type(P<0.05),but not with other clinicopatholog-ical features.CCK-8 and colony formation assays demonstrated that the proliferation level of A2780 cells in the pcDNA3.1-SYNJ2BP group was significantly lower than that in the pcDNA3.1-NC group(P<0.01).Flow cytometry with PI single staining revealed altered cell cycle distribution in A2780 cells of the pcDNA3.1-SYNJ2BP group, with cells arrested in the S phase and a significantly increased apoptosis ratio compared to the pcDNA3.1-NC group(P<0.05).Transwell assays showed that the number of A2780 cells invading through the artificial matrix membrane in the pcDNA3.1-SYNJ2BP group was approximately half that in the pcD-NA3.1-NC group(P<0.01).Western blot results indicated downregulated expression of ERK1/2 and c-Myc in A2780 cells of the pcDNA3.1-SYNJ2BP group compared to the pcDNA3.1-NC group. In nude mouse tumors of the pcDNA3.1-SYNJ2BP group, compared to the pcDNA3.1-NC group,SYNJ2BP expression was upregulated while ERK1/2 and c-Myc expression was downregulated, consistent with the cellular-level expres-sion results. Conclusion Low expression of SYNJ2BP is observed in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues, and overexpression of SYNJ2BP inhibits the proliferation and invasion abilities of epithelial ovarian cancer cells. This suggests that SYNJ2BP may serve as a potential tumor suppressor in epithelial ovarian cancer and could be considered as a prognostic typing marker or potential therapeutic target for ovarian cancer.

The improvement of clinical symptoms, Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) Score, collateral vessels and CTP parameters were compared between the two groups. Results:The improvement of clinical symptoms in the direct group was better than that in the indirect group ( P<0.05), and the significant remission rate was significantly higher than that in the indirect group [86.0%(37/43) vs 59.5%(22/37), χ 2=7.262, P=0.007]. The postoperative mRS score in the direct group was significantly lower than that before surgery [0(0, 1) vs 1(1, 2), Z=5.550, P<0.001]. The score of mRS After surgery in the indirect group was significantly lower than that before surgery [0(0, 1) vs 1(1, 2), Z=4.281, P<0.001], but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups ( P>0.05). There was no significant difference in digital subtraction angiography (DSA) collateral vessel formation between the two groups ( P>0.05). The CTP parameters of the two groups before and after surgery were consistent between observers and within observers [intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) range 0.88-0.94]. In the operation area, the relative cerebral blood flow (rCBF) after surgery was significantly increased, and the relative time to peak (rTTP) and relative mean transit time (rMTT) were significantly decreased in both groups, with statistical significance ( P<0.05). In the ipsilateral basal ganglia and frontal lobe, rCBF in the direct group was significantly increased, rTTP and rMTT were significantly decreased, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05), while there were no statistically significant differences in parameters in the indirect group (all P>0.05). The changes of rCBF, rTTP and rMTT in the operative area in the direct group were better than those in the indirect group, and the changes of rCBF, rTTP and rCBF in the basal ganglia and frontal lobe were better than those in the indirect group, with statistical significance (all P<0.05), while there were no statistically significant differences in the remaining parameters (all P>0.05). Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2020;36(18):1394-1399
Objective:To analyze the risk factors of medical adhesive-related skin injury (MARSI) in preterm infants to establish a nomogram model to predict the risk of MARSI.Methods:From July to September 2018, 268 premature infants who were hospitalized in NICU were enrolled in this study. Their clinical data were analyzed and univariate analysis was used to detemine the risk factors related to MARSI, The significant variables were included in the multivariate logistic regression analysis to analyze the independent risk factors for MARSI. Then the R software was used to establish a predictive nomogram model, Bootstrap method was used to validate the nomogram model and the consistency test of the correction curve was used to explore the predictive efficacy of the model in predicting the MARSI.Results:A total of 64 cases out of 268 premature infants had MARSI. The prevalence rate was 23.9 % (64/268). Birth age (28 to 32 weeks) ( P value was 0.021, OR value was 2.736, 95 % CI 1.163-6.435), edema ( P<0.01, OR value was 33.782, 95 % CI 10.510-108.583), maternal diabetes ( P value was 0.039, OR value was 16.011, 95 % CI 1.146-223.692), easy to tear tape ( P value was 0.027, OR value was 13.567, 95 % CI 1.340-137.311) were all independent risk factors for MARSI. The nomogram model showed a conformance-index of 87.29 %, while the consistency test of the correction curve showed that the prediction probability is consistent with the actual occurrence probability. Conclusions:The nomogram built based on the indexes of fetal age, skin state, maternal disease, mucous product has good discrimination and accuracy which could be helpful for screening the patients with high risk, with potentially high clinical application value.
