Objective: To explore the latent profile characteristics of regulatory emotional self-efficacy and its relationship with non-suicidal self-injurious (NSSI) behavior among junior and senior high school students, so as to provide a basis for effectively reducing NSSI behaviors. Methods: From April to October 2023, a total of 1 217 junior and senior high school students were selected from Tongren City, Zunyi City and Qiannan Prefecture of Guizhou Province by stratified cluster random sampling method. The Scale of Regulatory Emotional Self-efficacy and the Adolescent Self-injury Scale were administered. Latent profile analysis (LPA) was employed to explore distinct profiles of regulatory emotional self-efficacy, and the Lanza, Tan, and Bray s method (LTB) was used to analyze the relationship between these profiles and NSSI behavior. Results: The prevalence rate of NSSI behavior among junior and senior high school students was 28.6%. Among males, regulatory emotional self-efficacy was categorized into two types: moderate positive expression-low negative management group (59.1%, n =353) and high efficacy group (40.9%, n =244); among females, regulatory emotional self-efficacy was classified into three categories: low efficacy group (18.4%, n =114), high positive expression-low negative management group (56.3%, n =349), and high efficacy group (25.3%, n =157). There were statistically significant differences in total NSSI scores across different potential categories of regulatory emotional self-efficacy within both males and females ( Z/H = -5.75 , 57.58, both P <0.01). The differences in NSSI prevalence rates across the potential categories of regulatory emotional self-efficacy were statistically significant for both males and females ( χ 2=38.00, 69.14, both P <0.01), and among females, the differences in NSSI prevalence rates between the high efficacy group and the low efficacy group ( χ 2=60.01) and between the high efficacy group and the high positive expression-low negative management group ( χ 2=31.34) were also statistically significant (both P < 0.016 7 ). Binary Logistic regression analysis revealed that, compared with the high efficacy group within each gender, the moderate positive expression-low negative management group among males ( OR =2.36), and both the low efficacy group and the high positive expression-low negative management group among females ( OR =6.19, 2.97), were at an increased risk of engaging in NSSI (all P <0.01). Conclusion Different latent profiles of regulatory emotional self efficacy among junior and senior high school students are associated with NSSI behavior.

Objective To elucidate the changes in the gut microbiota and molecular mechanism of huaier in enhancing the efficacy of oxaliplatin (OXA) chemotherapy in gastric cancer (GC). Methods The effects of huaier on the gut microbiota structure and intestinal barrier function in MKN45-bearing mice were analyzed by using 16S rRNA sequencing, RT-qPCR, and IHC. UPLC-MS and network pharmacology, as well as in vivo experimental approaches, were employed to investigate the key bioactive constituents of huaier systematically and elucidate the underlying mechanisms by which huaier exerts therapeutic effects against GC. The expression of the PI3K/AKT/SREBP pathway was detected in cancer cells and tissues via Western blot analysis. The safety profile of huaier combined with OXA was verified through serum biochemistry and HE-stained tissue section analyses. Results Huaier inhibited the PI3K/AKT/SREBP pathway by increasing the abundance of Akkermansia muciniphila, reduced lipid droplet deposition, and ultimately enhanced the sensitivity to OXA in the treatment of GC. Conclusion This study demonstrates the value of huaier in gastric cancer treatment by enhancing chemosensitivity and provides novel insights into its systemic therapeutic effects through molecular mechanisms and gut microbiota modulation.

ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy and safety of Kaixuan Jiedu compatibility and the decomposed prescriptions in the treatment of psoriasis. MethodsThirty Balb/c mice were randomly grouped as follows （n=6）： normal， model， Kaixuan Jiedu （KXJD， 15.21 g·kg^-1）， Kaixuan （KX， 3.08 g·kg^-1）， and Jiedu （JD， 12.13 g·kg^-1）. Except the normal group， the rest groups were modeled for psoriasis-like skin lesions by topical application of imiquimod， and samples were collected after 7 days of continuous intervention. Mice were photographed at the lesion site during modeling and before sampling and the psoriasis area and severity index （PASI） was calculated. Hematoxylin-eosin （HE） staining was used to observe pathological changes in the lesions and measure the epidermal thickness. Mice were photographed and observed for the tortuous dilation of dermal capillaries. The expression of vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF）， platelet-endothelial cell adhesion molecule （CD31）， proliferating cell nuclear antigen （Ki67）， and cytokeratin 10 （CK10） in the epidermal tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry. Immunofluorescence assay was employed to determine the expression of Claudin-1 and Occludin. Real-time PCR was employed to determine the mRNA levels of interleukin-17A （IL-17A） and interleukin-23 （IL-23）. The spleen and thymus were photographed and weighed， and the spleen and thymus indices were calculated. The safety of the treatment was assessed by automatic biochemistry testing of the serum， liver， and kidney functions and by HE staining of the liver， kidney and spleen. ResultsCompared with that of the normal group， the skin of the model group showed erythema， infiltration， and typical psoriasis-like changes， tortuous dilation of dermal capillaries， hyperkeratosis in epidermal cells， acanthosis， massive lymphocytic infiltration in the dermis， impaired barrier function， increased expression of VEGF， CD31， Ki67， and CK10 （P<0.01）， reduced expression of Claudin-1 and Occludin （P<0.01） in the epidermis， and up-regulated mRNA levels of IL-17A and IL-23 （P<0.01）. In addition， the mice in the model group showed spleen enlargement， thymus atrophy， increased spleen index， and decreased thymus index （P<0.01）. Compared with the model group， KXJD and JD reduced psoriasis-like skin lesions， inhibited the tortuous dilation of dermal capillaries， reduced the expression of VEGF， CD31， Ki67， and CK10 （P<0.01）， increased the expression of claudin-1 （P<0.01）， and down-regulated the mRNA levels of inflammatory factors （P<0.01）. Moreover， the KXJD group outperformed the JD group. The JD group showed no significant difference from the model group regarding the spleen index， thymus index， and Occludin expression. The psoriasis indicators in the KX group were not significantly different from those in the model group. ConclusionKXJD and JD can reduce the symptoms of local skin lesions of psoriasis， which is manifested as different inhibition degrees of the proliferation and differentiation of keratin-forming cells， tortuous dilation of dermal capillaries， and inflammatory reactions， as well as the protection of the skin barrier. Moreover， KXJD outperformed JD. KX alone did not significantly reduce psoriasis lesions in mice. KXJD and the decomposed prescriptions are safe and effective， causing no obvious liver and kidney injuries.

Objective To analyze the changes in serum miR-205,miR-23b and miR-25 levels and their correlation with the prognosis of patients with different severities of sepsis.Methods A retrospective study was conducted in 86 patients with sepsis admitted to our hospital between September 2021 and September 2023.Based on the severity of illness,patients were divided into mild(52 cases)and severe(34 cases)groups.Eighty healthy individuals undergoing medical check-ups during the same period were selected as controls.The patients were follo wed-up for 28 days and were then categorized into a survival group(68 patients)and a death group(18 patients).Real-time polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the serum miR-205,miR-23b,and miR-25 levels in patients and analyze their corre-lation with prognosis.Multivariate Cox regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors affecting patient prognosis.The diagnostic value of serum miR-205,miR-23b,and miR-25 levels in assessing sepsis and their predictive value for prognosis were analyzed using receiver operating characteristic curves.Results Serum miR-205,miR-23b,and miR-25 levels were significantly lower in the two groups of patients with sepsis than in the control group(P＜0.05),and were significantly higher in the survival group than in the death group(P＜0.05).Their levels negatively correlated with prognosis.Heart rate and APACHE Ⅱ score were risk factors for a poor prognosis of patients with sepsis,whereas high serum miR-205,miR-23b,and miR-25 levels were protective factors(P＜0.05).The areas under the curve(AUC)for individual serum miR-205,miR-23b,and miR-25 levels and their combination to assess sepsis were 0.794,0.786,0.768,and 0.926,respectively.The AUC for predicting poor prognosis for patients were 0.776,0.762,0.797,and 0.918,respectively.Conclusion Serum miR-205,miR-23b,and miR-25 levels were reduced in patients with sepsis,and were closely correlated with patient prognosis.Thus,they may serve as serological biomarkers for assessing disease and predicting prognosis.

Objective:To explore the effects of different titanium(Ti)surfaces on mitochondria metabolism and polarization of mac-rophages.Methods:The anodic oxidation method prepared nanotubes with distinct morphologies(NT5 and NT20 groups)on smooth titanium surfaces(P group)were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).After 24 hours of culturing RAW264.7 cells on the samples,SEM was employed to observe the morphology of the cells of all groups.Levels of mitochondria ATP and ROS,as well as the activity of hexokinase(HK),were measured by fluorescence probes and luciferase assays.The expression of iNOS,Arg-1,TNF-α and CD206 mRNA was evaluated by RT-qPCR.Changes in mitochondria metabolism and macrophage polarization were studied following inhibition of cellular glycolysis by using 2-deoxy-D-glucose(2-DG)in groups P*and NT20*.Results:Compared with the P group,the NT5 group showed no significant changes in mitochondria ATP,ROS levels and HK activity,but an upregula-tion in M2-associated gene expression was observed.In the NT20 group,mitochondria ATP and ROS levels were increased,HK ac-tivity was elevated,and M1-associated gene expression was upregulated.After glycolysis inhibition,there was no significant differ-ence in mitochondria ATP,ROS levels,HK activity and polarization-related gene expression levels between the P*and NT20*groups compared with the P group.Conclusion:Large-diameter nanotubes may promote macrophage M1 polarization by regulating the metabolic reprogramming that occurs in macrophage mitochondria.

Objective:To systematically and comprehensively retrieve studies on urethra care for patients with urinary catheter at home and abroad, so as to provide a reference for removing low-value care measures in the future.Methods:Arksey and O'?Malley scoping review method was used to systematically search the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, China Biology Medicine disc, WanFang Data, VIP, PubMed, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, Embase, and Web of Science. The search period was from database establishment to January 1, 2024. Literature was screened based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and catheter care site, disinfection/cleaner type, frequency, institutional norms, and determinants were independently extracted by two researchers, where determinants were framed based on the theoretical domains framework.Results:A total of 21 papers were included. Urethra low-value care measures were reflected in the selection of nursing solutions that differed significantly from guideline recommendations and were inconsistently standardized across hospitals. Thirteen strategies were proposed to remove urethra low-value care measures. Factors that influenced the removal of low-value care behaviors included knowledge, reinforcement, environment and resources, social influences, personal roles and identities, outcome beliefs and memories, and attention and decision-making processes.Conclusions:Future researchers should further refine the evidence on urethra care and develop contextualized care for complex, multilevel healthcare settings to achieve continuous improvement and high quality care at low cost.

Background:Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge,commonly known as"Danshen"in China due to the distinctive red color of its roots,is one of the most widely used traditional Chinese medicines.It is cultivated in various regions across China,and environmental differences among these regions can affect the secondary metabolites of plants,thereby influencing the quality of S.miltiorrhiza.In recent years,increasing demand for S.miltiorrhiza has exacerbated the problem of origin fraud.Therefore,ensuring the authenticity of its geo-graphical origin is crucial for the sustainable development of the industry.Objective:The red coloration of S.miltiorrhiza is closely associated with the content of its primary active compounds,particularly tanshinones.Therefore,both its internal chemical composition and external color characteristics serve as key indicators for quality assessment.This study utilized hyperspectral imaging technology to evaluate its potential in classifying the geographical origin of S.miltiorrhiza.Methods:Spectral data reflecting the internal chemical properties of S.miltiorrhiza were integrated with color information represent-ing its external features through 3 levels of data fusion.These fused datasets were then combined with deep learning algorithms to achieve accurate origin classification.Results:The results demonstrated that the Transformer model combined with soft-voting decision-level fusion achieved the highest classification accuracy of 98.72％by integrating image color and short-wave infrared spectral data.Conclusion:This study demonstrates that integrating hyperspectral imaging spectral data with color information provides a reliable and innovative approach for verifying the authenticity and traceability of S.miltiorrhiza.

Objective To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of the combination therapy of ribociclib plus fulvestrant compared to fulvestrant monotherapy as a second-line treatment for postmenopausal patients with hormone receptor-positive(HR+)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative(HER2-)advanced metastatic breast cancer from the perspective of the Chinese healthcare system.Methods A partitioned survival model was constructed based on MONALEESA-3 study data,with the model cycle of 4 weeks and the time range of 15 years.Total cost,quality-adjusted life years(QALYs)and incremental cost-effectiveness ratio(ICER)were compared between ribociclib combined with fulvestrant and fulvestrant monotherapy as a second-line treatment for postmenopausal patients with HR+/HER2-advanced metastatic breast cancer.The robustness of the models was validated through one-way sensitivity analysis and probabilistic sensitivity analysis.Results Compared with the fulvestrant monotherapy regimen,the ICER for the ribociclib combined with fulvestrant regimen was 187,958.06 yuan/QALY,which was below the willingness-to-pay(WTP)threshold of three times China's per capita gross domestic product(GDP)in 2024(287,247 yuan/QALY).The one-way sensitivity analysis revealed that the ICER was primarily influenced by the proportion of patients receiving subsequent treatments with the combination therapy or fulvestrant monotherapy,and the utility value of progression-free survival.The probabilistic sensitivity analysis showed that at a WTP threshold of three times China's per capita GDP in China in 2024(287,247 yuan/QALY),the probability of the ribociclib combination therapy being cost-effective was 100%.Conclusion In the context of the Chinese healthcare system,the combination therapy of ribociclib and fulvestrant is more cost-effective than fulvestrant monotherapy for the second-line treatment of postmenopausal patients with HR+/HER2-advanced metastatic breast cancer.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of value orientation brief therapy(VBT)combined with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors(SSRIs)on clinical symptoms,rumination,decision-making ability,and cognitive func-tion in patients with mild to moderate depression.Methods:Eighty patients meeting the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for mild to moderate depression were randomly assigned to either a medication(SSRIs)group(36 completed)or a VBT combined group(38 completed)for a 6-week intervention.Baseline and post-intervention assessments includ-ed the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Hamilton Anxious Scale(HAMA),Ruminative Response Scale-Chi-nese Version(RRS-CV),Iowa Gambling Test(IGT),number of eye fixation(NEF),responsive search score(RSS)in exploratory eye trajectory movement were used to evaluate patients'anxiety and depression symptoms,ru-minative thinking,decision-making function,and cognitive function.Results:The VBT combined group showed sig-nificantly better therapeutic effects than the medication group(P＜0.05).Compared to baseline and the medication group,the VBT combined group had significantly lower post-intervention scores in HAMD,HAMA,symptom rumi-nation,introspective reflection,compulsive meditation,and RRS-CV total scores after intervention(Ps＜0.05),and significantly higher scores in IGT net profit scores,NEF,and RSS scores(Ps＜0.05).Compared with the medica-tion group,the VBT combined group demonstrated a greater reduction in HAMD,HAMA,symptom rumination,in-trospective reflection,compulsive meditation,and RRS-CV total scores before and after intervention(Ps＜0.05),and a larger increase in IGT net profit scores,NEF,and RSS scores(Ps＜0.05).Conclusion:VBT combined with SSRIs effectively improves the symptoms of depression,anxiety,decision-making ability,rumination thinking,and cognitive function in patients with mild to moderate depression.
