Objective:To explore the emotion regulation effects in trait-anxious college students under differ-ent working memory loads. Methods:A total of 40 undergraduates with elevated trait anxiety(STAI-T>40)com-pleted a 2(working memory load:high vs.low)× 3(emotion regulation phase:neutral,engagement,regulation)within-subjects design experiment.Dependent variables included emotional valence ratings and emotion regulation efficacy scores. The protocol consisted of three phases, namely free viewing of neutral images during the neutral phase, viewing negative images without regulation during the engagement phase, and implementing cognitive reap-praisal strategies for negative images during the regulation phase.Working memory tasks(n-back paradigm)were administered concurrently across all phases. Results:Emotional valence ratings during the engagement phase were lower than those during the neutral phase(P<0.001),emotional valence ratings during the regulation phase were higher than those during the engagement phase(P<0.01).Emotion regulation effect scores under high working memory load were higher than those under low load(P<0.05).Conclusion:Higher working memory load may enhance the efficacy of cognitive reappraisal in trait-anxious individuals.

Intracranial aneurysm(IA)is an abnormal tumor-like protrusion of intracranial blood vessels and has a relatively high in-cidence rate, and its rupture can lead to significantly poor prognosis.Diabetes mellitus(DM)is a common chronic disease character-ized by prolonged elevation of blood glucose level, which adversely affects the health of patients.Studies have confirmed the impact of long-term hyperglycemia on vascular health, and fragile blood vessels are an important prerequisite for the onset of aneurysms.There-fore,the patients with DM may have a higher incidence rate of aneurysms than those without DM.However, some studies have yielded conflicting results.Clarifying the mechanisms by which DM promotes the formation of IA and leads to subarachnoid hemorrhage after rupture may help to provide rational and individualized treatment for DM patients upon the identification of aneurysms and improve their prognosis. This article reviews the impact of DM on the formation and rupture of IA and related risk factors.

Objective To evaluate the postoperative survival quality in the patients with heart valve re-placement (HVR) in Three Gorges Reservoir area, and to analyze its main influencing factors. Methods A to-tal of 343 valvular heart disease patients from Three Gorges Reservoir area who received HVR treatment for the first time in this hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected by the convenience sampling method. The general data questionnaire and the MOS 36-item short form health survey (SF-36) were adopted to conduct the survey. The main influencing factors affecting the survival quality were analyzed. Results Af-ter HVR,the physical components summary (PCS) score of SF-36 was 238.0±73.6,and the mental compo-nents summary (MCS) score was 254.8±83.6,and the scores in each dimension were significantly lower than those of the Chinese norm (P<0.05).The multiple stepwise linear regression analysis results showed that the age, gender, place of residence, education level, postoperative time, complications and readmission were the influencing factors of PCS and MCS scores (P<0.05).Conclusion The survival quality of the patients af-ter HVR is different from that of healthy population. The targeted intervention could be carried out according to the influencing factors of the survival quality of the patients,so as to improve their survival quality.
