This article reports a rare case of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) complicated with rectal ulcer and stenosis, with difficulty in defecation as the main manifestation. Through multiple multidisciplinary consultations and joint decision-making between doctors and patients, combined with surgical and pathological comprehensive diagnosis, monism is considered: SLE affects the rectum. The patient has a good prognosis after undergoing medication, endoscopic local treatment, and surgical treatment.

Humulus lupulus is a kind of special resource plant used both as medicine and food in Xinjiang. In addition to being widely used in beer brewing, Humulus lupulus has long been recognized for its medicinal value, especially for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. Modern pharmacological research shows that its active components have great potential in the development of anti-osteoporosis drugs. However, in recent years, the wild Humulus lupulus resources in China have been seriously degraded, and the contents of active components are quite different. Ensuring high-quality Humulus lupulus germplasm resources is a prerequisite for the development and utilization of Humulus lupulus. This paper reviews the major chemical components of Humulus lupulus and their effects and application in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, and discusses the existing problems, aiming to provide a reference for the development and utilization of Humulus lupulus against osteoporosis.

Objective To establish fingerprint of Hupulus lupulus by HPLC.Methods Diamonsil C18column (250mm×4.6mm, 5μm) was used.The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile and 0.1％phosphoric acid, in gradient elution mode, detection wavelength was 358nm, column pressure at 10.2MPa, column temperature was 30℃, injection volume of 10μl and flow rate was 1.0ml/min.Results A common mode of HPLC fingerprint of Hupulus lupulus was established.19common peaks were calibrated, xanthohumol, cohumulone, humulone, adhumulone, colupulone, lupulone and adlupulone for identification.Among the 26batches of Hupulus lupulus, 5batches of herbs had similarities of less than or equal 0.9, which were all wild varieties.Conclusion The method was fast, effective, accurate and reliably to distinguish the cultivation and wildness Hupulus lupulus, which provided reference for quality control of Hupulus lupulus.

Objective To compare the changes of four flavonoid glycosides in the leaves of Hippophae rhamnoides L . before and after fermentation .Methods The water extract of Hippophae rhamnoides L .leaves and its fermented tea were con-centrated and desiccated .The dry extracts were dissolved in 70％ ethanol .The chromatographic separation was performed with RP-HPLC method on an Extend-C18 column (4 .6 mm × 250 mm ,5 μm) .Acetonitrile-0 .1％ formic acid was selected as mobile phase at the flow rate of 1 .0 ml/min .The detection wavelength was 356 nm and the column temperature was 30 ℃ .Results The rutin content was high in the leaves of Hippophae rhamnoides L .After fermentation ,isoquercitrin content was increased , while the contents of rutin and narcissoside were reduced and isorhamnetin-3-O-glucoside stayed unchanged .There was a good linear relationship between the concentration and peak areas of the four compounds (r>0 .9997) .The average recoveries were between 96％-103％ .Conclusion This established method is rapid and reliable ,which can be used for the quality control of Hippophae rhamnoides L .leaves and its fermented tea .

Objective Evaluate the immunotoxicity of Ginenoside Compound K Injection.Methods Active Systemic Anaphylaxis (ASA)tests and Passive Cutaneous Anaphylaxis (PCA)tests were used to evaluate Ginenoside Compound K Injection.Results In the ASA tests,positive control group showed pole-strength anapbylaxis,both the high-dose group and the low-dose group of Ginenoside Compound K Injection didn't produce allergic reaction and the body weights of all groups showed no significant differences.In the PCA tests,all rats of positive control group caused blue spots with their diameters bigger than 5 mm (diameters on the left side of blue spots was (10.1± 3.34) mm and diameters on the right side of blue spots was(7.57± 1.94)mm.Serum IgE was significantly increased.While both high dose and low dose of Ginenoside Compound K Injection group didn't show blue spots with their diameters greater than 5 mm and their IgE levels showed no significant differences compared with negative control group.Conclusion Ginenoside Compound K Injection showed no immunotoxicity under these experimental conditions.

Objective Aim to explore the effect of hyperglycemia on the expression of glucose transporter 1 (GLUT-1)in rats at the acute phase of traumatic brain injury.Methods Adult male SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal control group, traumatic brain injury group and insulin treated group.The blood glucose concentration of the rats was measured before and after injury.The expression of GLUT-1 gene and protein in the injured and uninjured cortex was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and western-blot.The apoptosis in the injured and uninjured cortex were detected by TUNEL staining.Results The blood glucose concentration increased markedly in traumatic brain injury group.The expression of GLUT-1 gene and protein in the injured cortex decreased in both the traumatic brain injury group and the insulin treated group.In contrast, the expression of GLUT-1 gene and protein significantly increased at 12 h, 24 h, 48 h, 72 h after injury in the insulin treated group compared with control(P＜0.01).The number of apoptotic cells in the insulin treated group were significantly larger than that in the traumatic brain injury group at each time point(P＜0.01).However, The number of apoptotic cell death remained unchange in the uninjured cortex in each group(P＞0.05).Conclusions The hyperglycemia after traumatic brain injury may increase the apoptotic cells in the injured brain through decreasing the expression of GLUT-1.

The dynamic changes of 64 cases of primary bronchogenic carcinoma were reviewed with their serial chest films.Obstructive pneumonitis was found in 26 cases,of which 17 showed a dense and/or enlarged hilar shadow on the first chest film.Inflammation could be minimized after treatment but the hilar shadow remained dense and/or enlarged.Hilar masses could appear after total absorption of inflammation.Thus increased density and/or enlargement of the hilar shadow could be considered as an important sign of obstructive pneumonitis.Solitary pulmonary nodule(SPN)was found in 36 cases.The nodules with a diameter smaller than 2 cm on the first chest film usually showed a high incidence of vacuolization and could be taken as an early sign of lung carcinoma.The nodules with a diameter larger than 2 cm usually suggested the malignant nature of the lesion if they exhibited an increased tendency to have spicule sign.tabulation sign,or linear shadows in lung parenchyma which might be clearly or blurrily demarcated and connected the nodule with the pleura.No vacuolization was seen in those nodules larger than 3 cm in diameter.The appearance of pleural indentation showed no relation to the size of the nodule.The dynamic changes of the nodulessmaller than 2 cm in diameter were emphatically observed and they usually appeared as a small piece of thin cloudiness,a small nodule,or a reticu-lonodular shadow on the first chest film.The measures to increase the detection of the nodular lesion smaller than 2 cm in diagmeter on a chest film were discussed.In addition,a rare early feature of lung adenocarcinoma,which showed a large piece of interstitial changes,was presented.
