Objective:To translate the European organization for research and treatment of cancer quality of life questionnaire-head and neck 43(EORTC QLQ-H&N43) and to conduct cultural debugging and reliability and validity testing for the Chinese version of the scale. Methods:The Chinese version of EORTC QLQ-H&N43 was formed through literal translation, integration, back translation, group discussion, cultural adjustment, and pre-investigation of the English version of the scale. From March 2023 to December 2023, convenience sampling was used to investigate 254 patients with head and neck tumors at the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, including 197 males and 57 females, aged (55.6±13.6) years. SPSS 25.0 statistical software was used to analyze the performance of the scale. Results:The Chinese version of EORTC QLQ-H&N43 retained all 43 items. After evaluation by 5 experts, the content validity index (I-CVI) at the item level of the scale ranged from 0.80 to 1.00, and the average content validity index (S-CVI/Ave) at the scale level was 0.991. Through exploratory factor analysis, a total of 9 common factors were extracted, with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 68.158%; Cronbach′s α coefficient of the total scale was 0.943, and the half reliability was 0.896.Conclusion:The Chinese version of EORTC QLQ-H&N43 has good reliability and validity, which can be used as an effective tool to evaluate the quality of life of head and neck cancer patients in China.

Objective:Explore the retention situation, possible health problems, and difficulties in removal of intrauterine device (IUD) in women who are perimenopausal in China. Methods:We have searched published literature related to IUD removal of perimenopausal and postmenopausal women in China from databases including CNKI, WanFang data, CBM, PubMed and other Chinese and foreign databases. Totaly fifteen studies were included according the criteria of study inclusion and exclusion and these studies were assessed the quality and their results were summarized. Results:The mentioned problems of IUD retention were the difficulty of IUD removal and psychological problems with the increase of women's menopause time. At the same time, perimenopausal IUD retention is associated with back pain, low abdominal pain and postmenopausal bleeding. Timely and safely removal of IUD after menopause can help to release the back pain and psychological problems in women, and can effectively avoid the difficulty of IUD removal in the later period. Conclusion:Perimenopausal women may have IUD retention. This problem may not only cause difficulties of IUD removal, but also cause a series of women's mental health issues. Timely removal of IUD after menopause is a urgent needs f for reproductive health and family planning ongoing services.

【Objective】 To investigate the relationship between the expression of PRDX3 (thioredoxin-dependent peroxide reductase)and the occurrence and development of ccRCC (clear cell renal cell carcinoma). 【Methods】 The expression of PRDX3 was first verified in 16 cases of ccRCC tissues and adjacent normal tissues. In the present study , according to the PRDX3 over-expression level,we established the stable PRDX3 overexpression cell lines and knockdown cell lines in 786-O cell lines. We detected the growth rate of tumor cells after overexpression and knockdown of PRDX3. Interaction proteins with PRDX3 were searched by anti-flag pull-down test combined with LC- MS/MS technique. The interaction between PRDX3 and PRDX1(peroxiredoxin 1)was preliminarily explored.【Results】The western blot results showed that PRDX3 were down- regulated in 14 out of 16 ccRCC tissue samples about 1.78 times. Stable PRDX3 overexpression and knockdown cell lines and those control group were successfully established[786O- PRDX3(+)and 786O- PRDX3(-),786O- PRDX3 KN and 786O- PRDX3 NCi]. PRDX3 expression in 786O- PRDX3(+)was 2.1 times higher than 786O- PRDX3(-)at mRNA level and 1.8 times at protein level. PRDX3 expression in 786O- PRDX3 KN was 0.48 times lower than 786O-PRDX3 NCi at mRNA level and 0.51 times at protein level. The cell growth rate of 786O-PRDX3 (+)cell lines was significantly lower than that of 786O-PRDX3(-). Meanwhile ,there was no significant difference in 786O-PRDX3 KN and NCi cell lines. Pull-down results shows that PRDX3 may interact with PRDX1 through disulfide bond and the binding sites of those two proteins were identified respectively.【Conclusion】PRDX3 was down- regulated expression in renal clear cell carcinoma and the interaction with PRDX1 may be involved in the occurrence and development of tumor. Increasing the expression level of PRDX3 can significantly reduce the growth rate of tumor cells. Based on PRDX3 ,it is possible to develop targeted drugs for treating renal clear cell carcinoma.
